THE MERMAID PRINCESS - EPISODE 4
Moody’s POV
It was finally midnight and I decided to bring Ariel along with me to meet the dolphin and just in case something were to happen.
But we had to figure out how to get past grandpa first.
“How about we sneak out the window?”
“We could, but that might take too long and what if we fall and break a leg or something—this isn’t a movie ”
“Your right, its time for plan B”
“What’s plan B?”
“Just follow my lead” I said and then we quietly walked out my room and proceeded down the stairs.
As we reached the bottom of the staircase, we noticed my grandpa sitting on the couch watching TV.
“Follow my lead okay”
“Hi grandpa, we just came down to get a snack—don’t mind us.” Silence
“Is he sleeping?”
“I think so, well that was easier than I thought. Come on let’s go”
Then we quickly —but quietly left through the front door. The night was dark and gloomy, but we were on a mission.
When we reached the beach I looked around for the dolphin and found her across by the rocks.
“There she is.” I said nodding my head at her location.
“Let’s go then” said a very excited Ariel.

“Oh no, don’t tell me you too are falling for this craziness!”
“We’re talking to a pink sparkly dolphin, it can’t get anymore real than this.”
“Now listen to me, you must not get wet in public and until you have fully transformed.
I need you to come to the beach everyday so that your body will not react too harsh to your sudden changes.”
Said the pink dolphin, who’s name I still did not know.
“Okay. By the way, what’s your name, you know mine, but i still don’t know yours.”
“Its Water lily” she said, with a cheeky smile on her face.
“That is a beautiful name” replied Ariel and I in unison.
“Why thank you! Anyway, i have got to splash now, see you tomorrow.” And with that she departed.
“Well, let’s head home before your grandpa discovers we’re gone”
“Okay, shall we depart my dear?” I said in a slight English accent.
“We shall, to grandma’s house we go or in this case grandpa’s house.”
Then we burst out in full pledge laughter at our childish behavior and then proceeded back home through the darkened night.
