THE MERMAID PRINCESS - EPISODE 10

Moody’s POV –

“Girl i’m serious! your eyes were freaking glowing not to mention pink”
“Are you high?

Because what your saying is not making any sense.” I asked her with raised eyebrows. I knew she was crazy but seriously!

“Don’t give me that look” she scowled and I simply responded by raising one eyebrow this time.

Sometimes I wonder what the fudge cheese is wrong with this girl but I let it slide considering that she is my best friend.

“Listen Ariel I didn’t want to tell you this but…Girl I swear you be tripping like on a whole new level”

“No Mels listen to what I’m saying, your eyes were pink not a freaking rainbow so I don’t get why its so hard to believe” she told throwing her hands up in the air to make a point.

“As much as I look forward to arguing with you I have something I need to do right now so…to be continued.”

When I came home I decided to think about what my mom told me.

I was still a bit confused on how she was able to communicate with me but I didn’t dwell on it.

Her words made me realise that I needed to up my game if I was going to save her but first, I had to find waterlilly.

Now the hard part was figuring out where she was. I mean obviously she’s in the water but where?. I know! I’ll use my powers to locate her.

I wish I knew where to find waterlilly.

An image suddenly appeared in my hands and as I looked at it I realised that it was a picture of Waterlilly talking with two other mermaids in a shop.

She’s probably in Mermaidia so I’ll have to go there myself and find her.

I quickly got off my bed, put on my shoes and rushed down the stairs and out the front door not before leaving a note for grandpa to know where I had gone.

When I arrived at the beach, I was very happy to see that no one else was there so I just dived right into the water and after a few short seconds, my tail was there.

Of course it was the blond hair with pink highlights that I was still not used to because let’s be honest that was a big change for a brunette.. then again, so was a tail.

I swam deeper and deeper into the water until I came upon a small undersea kingdom.

I noticed there were many merfolfs here so I stayed out of sight.

I continued swimming until I saw the shop where waterlilly was.
I opened the door and spotted waterlilly.
“Hey WATERLILLY” I yelled

“Melody what are you doing here how did you find me?” She asked swimming towards me.

“I came here to find you because we need to talk and also I used my powers.”

“Oh okay. So what did you want to talk about.”

“Well first, don’t you notice anything different about me ” I asked water Lilly.

She looked me up and down examining my appearance until her eyes widened.

“OMG Melody your a mermaid! I can’t believe I didn’t notice sooner. Gosh i can be such a fish scale sometimes.

Anyway did it hurt because I told you to go in the water everyday until you popped a tail you know.”

“Actually it hurt like hell but I guess that’s my fault because I wasn’t in the water everyday but anyway the reason I came here was because I talked to my mom and she said that i needed to find her.”

“If we’re going to find your mom we need a plan but first we’ll need a few friends who can help us.”

OMG your princess Melody! It is truly an honour to meet you!

I didn’t think this day would get any better but it just did when you showed up, don’t you agree kylie ?

I mean its not every day you see a real princess and she’s actually talking to us b-“2
“I think your scaring her” Kylie said cutting off the rest of her sentence.

“Actually its fine she reminds me a lot of my best friend back home” I told them smiling.
“Oh fish paste In all my rambling I forget to mention my name! Can we start over?”1

“Sure. Hi my name is Melody its very nice to meet you.”

“Likewise Melody I’m Aqua” she told me smiling.

And in that moment I knew I had two new friends. One slightly more crazy than the other but I’ll take what I get.
