#The next day

The loud scream woke Maya up from her slumber. She stirred, feeling so disoriented.

She yawned stretching out both hands, she felt so weak and really wanted to sleep again

She stirred again and in a second she was already sleeping again

The loud scream jolted Msya more awake. She opened her eyes, feeling very disoriented.

Getting up from the bed, she rubbed her knuckles to her eyes, trying to clear her blurry eyes and understand where she is and what is happening around her.

It took a why before she recalled what happened yesterday

Yeah she remembered going to the bar…. Meeting a heavenly dude and then getting herself drunk

She remembered meeting Mabel immediately she came home,

“Oh, Heavens!” She covered her mouth with trembling hands, her mouth wide in shock.

“Mabel! ” she screamed running out of the room

“hope she didn’t burn…… Oh God!… Help me “she muttered as she kept running

She didn’t even know how she ended up in her room

“Arrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” She heard a loud scream and obviously it was Mabel voice

Her heart jumped out as she hurried to her room, since the screams were coming from there, she pushed the door opened and gasped

She stared at the scene in front of her blankly, for a few seconds. As if his head hasn’t been able to process what she was seeing.

When it did, her face closed up like a book.

“By the Gods! What have I done !?” she gasped, looking as shocked as ever.

She kept watching the scene in front of her so intensely…like he expects the illusion to disappear if he watches it too much.

She felt her heart break to pieces

“Easy I’m in pains!!” Mabel growled. The door opened and a maid walked in

“What happened “she asked the maids as they walked passed her

“Ma’am Mabel was found in the furnace last night….. It’s a good thing the guard security it came on time……Ma’am Mabel would have burnt to death”The maids said and a deadly monotone sent a chill down her spine.

She stared at Mabel again. The doctor was dressing the burn on her face….They were lots of dark spots on her face

Her face right now was unrecognizable and she was looking kind of ugly

Her body was full of bruises and damn!…… This was total mess

“I’m gonna kill you all…….. make it more easier “She snorted and groaned

Right now you don’t even need a soothsayer to tell you she was experiencing pains and She was sure having one of her worst moments.

“what have I done” Maya mumbled again

Yeah she hates Mabel but never wished her death

A maid roughed to her dressing table and brought out a mirror

She ran helter scattered back to where she laid

She scoffed and took the mirror

She ran her hand over the rough side of her cheek, feeling the rough skin.

A side of her face were bandaged

“You fool…. Do something and removed the burn and dark spots “She yelled with gritted teeth

“This is the best….. we.. could… d… do……you just have to wait for months for it to heal gradually “The doctor stuttered and her eyes widened

“months!!!….. are you crazy!! ” she yelled

“how will the mother of the heir walked out with her face bandaged….. “She yelled making everyone in the room flinched out including Maya

She burst into tears immediately. Oh! How she hate this. How will she loved being adored??

The door opened immediately and The master with his best friend walked in

“You!! ” He thundered rushing to her like a hungry Lion King

He got to her and grabbed her neck causing her to choke

Her face turned blue and pale completely

“Are you crazy Nick…. You’re gonna kill her! ” Louis said rushing to him and pulled him away from her

Maya coughed out holding her neck

“You gonna kill me because of her?? ” Maya asked unbelievable

“Screw you all and eat your damn bastard heir” She growled and quickly ran out

Master Nicholas balled his fist and throw a punch on Louis which he dodged

“Fuck!!! Stop interrupting me when I deals with my offenders”he yelled and swiveled his head before turning to Mabel who was sobbing so hard

Mabel squeaked like a baby as she jumped out of bed

She was sure Kyle would be getting dressed by the maids…

That’s the name of the little baby boy which she born a month ago and he’s gonna be introduced to the people today

Yeah…. Alot happened this passed 10 months

Carrying a baby for good nine months was tiring but she had the best moments as long as the master was with her

Everything worked into plans but the happiest of it all was her beautiful face being back and the bruises gone

“damn Maya! ” She muttered

She needs to head somewhere before the preparations kicked on

She rushed into the bathroom and had a warm bath

Mabel got back to Nathan pent house and met him staring out of the transparent glass, his back on her

” Yeah! I The day were the heir will be introduced to the people….. Gosh! Can’t believe master had planned a heavenly party already ” she replied and Nathan giggles

He picked up the glass of coffee and took a sub

“Today is the day he will be dethroned…… ” he muttered and Mabel frowned

“what do you mean?? ” She asked

“he doesn’t have a heir and the one year given to him is over” he smirked

Nathan drank from his cup of coffee and gulped it down before smashing the cup on the wall making Mabel flinched out

He pulled her closer and touched her face

“I have grown up with her right from the orphanage home….. I have always take care of her… I have loved her”he said and paused

“why can’t I be with her…… Why can’t nature bring us together “he cried harder

Alicia moved to him and held his face while using her fingers to wipe away the tears

Everywhere was full with different faces already..

Even if some of the people were scared to attend the party, they still came

Octavia had a wild smile walking to Master. She got to him and stood on her toe and place a penny kiss on his lip

He blushed and pinched her nose fondly
