“Where’s grandma?’ Brandon asked, breaking the hug and wiping her tears

“Huh?, Grandma” she replied, getting down from the bed to where grandma is lying

“The devil’s son kicked her when she was trying to save me she has lost consciousness” she said

” Put on something” Brandon said and Nirvana rushed to her closet to wear a simple jean gown

Brandon heaped up Kara in his arms and rushed out of the house while Nirvana followed

“The maid isn’t around?” Brandon asked

“Grandma said she went to see her child, she’ll be back tomorrow” she replied

” What of your driver?” He asked

” His house is just a stone throw away from here, he comes early every morning and leaves after dropping me home at night” she replied

” Grandma has no driver?” He asked

” She has but he’s just like mine, he comes in the morning and leaves after dropping her from work, if we need to go anywhere after getting home, it’s Grayson who drives us” she replied

” That animal” he said as they got out

He placed Kara in the car and got in with Nirvana before starting the drive to the hospital

It was fast so they got there in no time

She was taken into a private ward and Brandon attended to her personally since it’s Preston

He told the lab attendant to run a test on her since he has suspicions

“She’ll remain unconscious for a while, take it as rest” he said to Nirvana

” Really?, Will she be fine?” She asked

“Sure” Brandon replied though he’s having doubts already and his doubts were confirmed when the test results came out

“Stage 4 cancer?” He said though he’s not surprised, she has the signs on her body

“Yes doctor, it was left untreated so it damaged a lot, oral medicine can’t work anymore” the lab attendant replied

” I’m aware….shit!, Meaning she has a short time to live even if she wakes up” he said

” Yes doctor”

Brandon walked out of the lab sadly

” What’s up?” Nirvana asked, standing up immediately she saw him

“She’s…. she’ll be fine, no damages” he replied, not wanting to break her heart any further

“Really?” She smiled

“Yes” he replied and she smiled wider before hugging him

“I’m so glad, if I lose grandma, it’ll nearly kill me, besides you, she’s the only one I have” she said and that shattered Brandon, feeling guilty that he actually lied to her.

“She’ll be in the hospital pending when she’ll wake up” he said

” I understand, let’s go see her” she replied, pulling him into the ward

She sat on the space left on her bed and held Kara’s wrinkled hand

“Wake up soon I love you grandma, I love you very much” she said, massaging her hand

An intern came in with materials to treat Nirvana’s swollen face with

Brandon suddenly got a call and when he saw it’s Reagan, he went out to pick

“Hey partner” he said

“I’m sending a voice message to your WhatsApp right now, listen Immediately” she said and hung up

” She changed a lot these days, always hanging up first” Brandon said and went to his WhatsApp, the voice message beeped as it appeared

He plugged in his earpiy before listening, closing his eyes

What he’s hearing made his eyes flutter open quickly

He started shifting back till his back is on the wall

“Mum” he muttered shockingly after listening to it

The phone fell from his hands and he rushed to the hospital rooftop

He covered his ears with his hands and screamed loudly

“I’ve been fooled!, I was fooled!, I was scammed!, Scammed!, Cosby and Zelda killed my mother!, They did!, Those two motherf*cking bastards!, Aaarrrrgg!!” He shouted, breathing heavily

He held the rails and his whole body is shaking with fury, his eyes are red with and his neck veins are obvious, they popped out rebelliously

“Cosby…. Zelda……f*ck!” He yelled again

“Never knew you had such a cruel experience” Mateo said behind him

He looked back and saw him holding his phone that fell from him earlier

He walked up to him and snatched the phone from him

“I listened to the voice note, sorry if it means prying” Mateo said

” Buzz off” Brandon said and started walking away

“Your father…. deserves to be grinded and fed to the wild animals…no he’s a wild animal himself so he deserves to be buried alive” Mateo said and Brandon stopped to look at him

He left without uttering a word

Mateo watched him till he’s out of sight and sighed

“Maybe he’s not a bad person” he said to himself

Brandon got home with Nirvana and never uttered a word, Nirvana had noticed that and decided to give him space so he won’t have to behave cranky to her again

He got his tab and started working on it

Nirvana showered and put on his clothes before coming to check on him again, she saw that he’s still working, not even sparing her a glance

She stealthily entered the training ground and breathed hard

“Is he going through something hard again?, Maybe he doesn’t want to tell me and maybe I shouldn’t try to find out” she thought

She entered fully and started with fighting the punching bag

Right now her hatred for Grayson is just same as her hatred for Zelda so she imagined them as the punching bag and punched hardly, making sure every punch left an impact

The other time when he was trying to defend herself from Grayson, if she has been fully trained, she knows she’ll be good enough to bring him down

“I punched his face and kicked his face too….I should have kicked the space between his legs afterwards then target his chin and give him a double kick, when he falls, I’d have marched his head…. Oh Nirvana, why didn’t I apply all these earlier” she said to herself

” Cos you were disoriented, it was your first time” robot replied behind her and she swiftly looked back

” You followed me” she smiled

“Of course, you put me on and thanked me before going for a shower, you forgot to press the red button so I’m still on, and please don’t press the red button now, I still want to play with you” robot said

” I’m not here to play robot, I’m here to train, and I’m sad too” she replied

” Cos Greek god won’t talk to you?” Robot said

” Yes,I don’t know what he’s passing through” she replied

“Calm down, he’ll tell you when he dims fits” robot replied

” I’ll wait, I need to train now” Nirvana said

“Can I be your trainer?” Robot asked

“You can train me?” Nirvana said surprisingly

“Wait I’m not a useless Nirvana, I’m better than some humans” robot replied

” Oh really?, Ok accepted, how do I do a spin back kick?” She asked

” It depends on how swift you can leap into the air and how fast you can spin in the air” robot replied

” I’m ready to learn” Nirvana replied and robot smiled

“You met the right teacher, first take a step back, then turn around,leap into the air and spin yourself, then kick with your leg before coming back to the ground, use the leg you feel like it’s comfortable” robot said and Nirvana tried it but kept failing, she’ll succeed in leaping but to spin in the air is the problem

“Maybe you weigh too much” robot said.

“But Brandy said I’m lightweighted despite the fact that I eat too much” she replied

” Eat less, go on a diet” robot replied

“Go on a diet?, I’ll die” she replied.

“You won’t, just try” robot replied

” Ok…then I wanna be able to jump, shoot arrows, swordsfight, run a long distance” Nirvana said

” We have a lot to do, let’s get started” robot replied .

*What the hell! the devil has been fooling you!” Paxton said over the tab after listening to the audio message Brandon sent

“Zelda’s death will come after Cosby’s, Cosby is dying tommorow, nothing can change it” Brandon said

” What’s the plan?” Paxton asked

” Stone is going to cause a riot in Zelda’s cartel tommorow, during the riot, I’ll capture Cosby” he replied

” Great, you should call Jones, he said Sandra is saying something” Paxton said before hanging up …

Jones’s video call rang on his tab immediately and he picked

Jones’s face came to view

“Boss, Sandra wants to talk to you” he said and Sandra came to view with sleeping Berry in her arms

“What do you have to say to me?” He asked

“Can you please not release us?” She said

” What?” He replied surprisingly

” I really don’t want to go back to Stone, I didn’t marry him out of my own free will, it was forced by my dad….dad ordered for me to be tortured like an animal for fourteen days when I refused….on the tenth day when I felt like I couldn’t take it anymore that’s why I agreed to marry Stone and it has been a loveless marriage, I don’t love him and he doesn’t love me either, he’s always beating me with belt at any mistake, he only uses me as his s*x toy and the only thing he sees as a human is Berry and I really don’t want Berry to see him ever again, I want to raise Berry in a safe environment and I don’t want to go back to him either, please don’t release me and my daughter till Stone’s death please” Sandra pleaded

” Who’s your dad?” Brandon asked

” Doctor Remington, president of Preston hospitals” she replied

” You’re a senior sister to Heather?” Brandon said

“Yes, but not entirely, we have different fathers, mother bore Heather to Remington, she cheated on Remington with another man and I’m the product of cheating, I think that’s why he hates me” she replied

” Where’s your mother?” He asked

” She died some years ago” Sandra replied

“I’ll think about your request” Brandon replied and cut the call

” President Remington” he said and smiled.

He dropped the tab and went inside the bedroom but Nirvana is not there

He went into the bathroom but she’s not there either
He got scared a bit, thinking maybe she got annoyed and left again cos he wasn’t talking to her

“Nirvana!” He called loudly and noticed the training room door opened

He rushed in there and breathed in relief when he saw her dozing off on the chair, it’s even obvious that she’s tired in her sleep

Robot is beside her, still on

“Good thing you came, press the red button I’m tired of staring into space”

Brandon touched it’s head fondly and bent beside her then kissed it’s cheeks

” Are you trying to seduce me because your little baby is sleeping?, I’ll tell on you when she wakes up” robot laughed

” Silly you, good job earlier, thank you” he said

“I can’t watch any bad thing happening to my namesake and I don’t want you to be sad too, why didn’t you tell her what’s happening?” Robot said

” I don’t want to burden her with my plight” he replied

*But not telling her is the greatest burden, she was busy wondering if you’re fine”

” hmmn…. I’ll change that” he said

“Better, I know you love her, my eyes can scan through your chest and I can see how your heart beats faster when she’s around” robot said

” Smarty-pants huh?” Brandon smiled, touching it’s cheeks again

“It’s tickling, stop!”

“Silly, did you both train?” He asked

“Yes, a lot… you’ll be surprised by her abilities from now on, press the red button please” robot replied

” Walk to the room first” he replied

He carried Nirvana in his arms and left the ground while robot walked behind him

He got to the room before putting it off after placing Nirvana gently on the bed

He kissed her lips lightly before covering her up.

“Goodnight” he said simply before sitting on the stool

He smoked throughout most of the night and never slept a wink till daybreak

Nirvana yawned softly and opened her eyes to see him standing by the window, his back on her

She admired him a lot and smiled as she stared

He’s perfect!

She got down from the bed and walked to him then hugged him from behind

“Little thing” He said

“Good morning” she said and kissed the line between his back before resting her head right there

“Did you sleep well?” He asked

“No, you refused to talk to me last night” she replied and he faced her

” I’m sorry, I promise to tell you when I’m back from where I’m going” he said

” You’re going somewhere?” She asked

” Yes and i might take long, I cooked your favorite already” he said and her face lightened up

“Spaghetti and meatballs?, Yay!, You can cook!” She said

“Yes, not like someone who only knows how to cook noodles” he replied and Nirvana pouted

He lightly kissed her pouted lips and she smiled

“I’ll go stay at the hospital with grandma you can come pick me up whenever you’re done, I’ll wait” she said

” Alright ugly Nirvana” he replied, walking into the bathroom

” Goblin Brandy” she replied

” I’m the s*xiest man in the world” he said and looked back, he winked and she quickly looked away

“You’re a devil” she said, grabbing his body cream from the dressing table, before she could throw it, he rushed into the bathroom

“S*xy devil” Nirvana said and blushed

Dolly snuck into the bathroom to make a call to Stone as usual, the poison is taking it’s toll on her already cos just this morning she felt dizzy immediately she woke up

Stone picked her call and she coughed before speaking

“When are you coming?” She asked

“I’m ok my way, what’s wrong with you?” He asked

” The poison has an antidote right?” She asked

“Yes, but it’s with Sandra” he replied

“F*ck, I mistakenly took part of it” she replied

“Are you daft?, How could you?”

“I’m hanging up” she replied and hung up

Zelda’s mansion**

Zelda is just coming out when he suddenly felt dizzy, he held the couch and blinked severally before getting ok

“What’s happening?” He asked himself

Then there suddenly came an uproar and gunshots started sounding

Zelda smiled

“The bastard is here with his men, go face him and bring them down!” He ordered

” Yes boss” Cosby said and led them all out

Stone is around with over 100 of his men, ready to kill anyone who comes his way

Zelda has over 250 men and ladies in the cartel so it’s a bonus for him

The shootout started without negotiation cos everyone knows it’s because of Stone’s wife and daughter that were killed

Soon the cartel became wet with blood and gunshots are still sounding like crackers, people from both cartels are dying and dead people filled up the whole place

“Bastards!, You’re all losing your f*cking asses today!” Stone yelled

” All bark but no bite, pure definition of Stone Millions” Zelda mocked

” Boss, Cosby is missing” one of the hitmen suddenly reported

“What the….hell!”

Zone 1**

Cosby is tied to a barrel with metal ropes, he has been beaten mercilessly cos all his front teeth are lost, blood is covering is face and whole body, he’s naked!, Naked and bleeding from all parts of his body

“Cosby Devi…. only l is left to make your surname devil” Brandon said, his voice echoing throughout the room

He’s wearing a hoodie and he covered his head with the hood, it covered part of his face too and some of his front hair sticked out stubbornly

He’s smoking devilishly and Paxton is right beside him with a lollipop in his mouth

“You changed the coffee cup two years ago, you killed my mother!” Brandon yelled

Cosby is almost lifeless and he can’t speak anymore, he’s breathing with the thin life in him

“Do you need a microphone to speak?” Paxton said in mockery, removing the lollipop stick from his mouth

“And now, I mean today… right now, I’ll make you regret ever doing that, I’ll make you regret the day you were born” Brandon said and got a keg of fuel, he poured part of the petrol on Cosby’s two hands

“I don’t know the one you used to change the coffee so I’m burning the two” he said and lighted a matchstick which he placed on the hands and it caught fire immediately

Cosby screamed out loudly in pure agony as his hands started burning viciously

“Next live, avoid messing with the family of anyone named Alvarez or Brandon” Paxton said

They watched him like that for a while then Brandon picked the rest of the petrol and wet the ground with it

They both left the house and when they have walked a little bit far away from the house, it blew up.
