Nirvana woke up to a sweet smell hanging in the air, she inhaled the air before opening her eyes

“My favorite spaghetti and meatballs!, Yay!” She screamed, getting up from the bed

She went into the bathroom and brushed first before taking her bath

While at that, Grayson came into the room and when he noticed she’s in the bathroom, he went to the bathroom door just to peep like the other time and the devil between his legs woke again,it stood erect as he watched her with lustful eyes, it got to a time when he can’t take it anymore, he dipped his hand into his shorts and took his length in his hand they started stroking it, touching himself slowly while watching her

” No grandma, and I didn’t keep a distance from him, if I did, he wouldn’t be sitting beside me right now” Nirvana replied without looking at anyone

She shoved another fork of spaghetti into her mouth and ignored everyone

“Are you sure your leg is better?” Kara asked

“Yes grandma, it’s better a lot and I can walk freely right now, that’s why I’m going to school today” she replied

” Nirvana….

“Grandma I’ve missed a lot in school I can’t continue missing, and besides, there’s a test I need to write today, I have to go to school early so I can read in the library for it” she said quickly

” Oh gosh, she’ll always have a way….ok don’t take long” Kara said and Nirvana smiled

” Thanks grandma, love you!”

Brandon’s house**

He woke up to the sound of the alarm on his phone, he had set the alarm before going to bed last night cos he has an early surgery to perform this morning

He got up from the bed and entered the bathroom straight to brush and bath

He came out after about thirty minutes and dressed up for work

His phone beeped when he’s buttoning up his shirt, he took his phone and checked the message, it’s from the only disturber he knows

He finished reading the message and smiled before dropping his phone, he remembered last night and smiled again when their chats came to his head, it has been long since he laughed like that, maybe when his mum was still alive but she made him laugh and maybe he likes it cos when he laughed last night, that three seconds of laughter, he wasn’t thinking of anything so peace settled in him that seconds

He finished buttoning up and put on his shoes then used his cologne before styling his hair in front of the mirror, he applied small lipstick on his lips and almost forgot to take his phone but he came back for it before leaving the house

He got to his car and opened his phone, the message is the first thing he saw again and he stared at it, reading it over and over again before deciding to text back

*If you don’t score full marks in the test……you’re dead*

He smiled after sending it and dropped his phone then his mind drifted to Zelda again

“That bastard I call a father, I wish I can kill him now but no, his death is not now” he thought and revved the engine in a macho style down the road

He got to the hospital and went to the changing room to change into the theatre khaki before going into the theatre but Mateo is already in the theatre, operating with Heather as his assistant

They both looked at him immediately he entered, he looked up at the viewing spot and saw president Remington and the other doctors watching from there

He left the theatre and went straight to his office after changing back to his clothes

He got there and lightened a cigarette then started smoking angrily, not that he’s angry that Mateo is doing the surgery but for the fact that he left the house early in the morning, wasting his time to drive here is infuriating

He smoked the whole stick before grabbing his coat then he left the office for ward checks

He checked how each patient in each ward is doing and when he got to the ward where the woman he operated on some days ago is, he saw her sitting up on the bed, breastfeeding the baby while the young kid is sitting beside her, watching with interest

A man he suspected to be her husband is there too, smiling as he watched her breastfeeding the baby

He made to go but the little kid saw him

“Doctor!” He called loudly and he looked back, he entered the ward and went to them

“Dad it’s him, mummy’s lifesaver, he saved mum and my baby sis” he said to the man who stood and hugged Brandon tightly

” Thanks so much doctor, doctors like you are rare, I don’t just know how to say thank you, we were told you cleared our remaining bills already even when you don’t know us, you’re a godsent, thanks so much for saving my wife and our baby” he said gratefully

” It’s ok, just continue to stay with her and give her attention, she needs you now and the baby needs you more” Brandon replied

” I’ll always do that” the man replied

“Thanks for saving me doctor, I hope you get all you’ve always wished for” the mother said

” Thanks doctor, you’ll forever remain the best and the best” the kid said and Brandon smiled

” You have an handsome smile but under that handsome smile it looks like there are a lot of worries and sadness embedded there, anything that’s bothering you I hope you’ll be able to tackle it wisely and get your happy smile back” the man said

Brandon sighed and nodded before leaving the ward, getting to his office, Heather is already waiting

“What are you doing here?” He questioned without looking at her

” Brandon it’s not my fault ” she said

“You came to my house last night and yet you couldn’t tell me I won’t be handling the surgery anymore, I wasted my time,I should still be on my bed sleeping!’ he said seriously

“I never knew it was gonna be like this I swear it, dad just changed everything thirty minutes to the surgery, I have no hand in this please look at me” she replied, standing in front of him

” Why?” He said

” Cos I love you!” She yelled

“Back to this again” he replied and turned his back on her, he opened his drawer and picked a cigarette to smoke but she snatched it from him and threw it away

“Why do you hate me?” She said

“Cos you’re behaving like a whore!” He replied flatly

” I’m behaving like that cos I love you!, I’m not myself anymore Brandon!, Can’t you just spare me a glance?, Brandon can’t you just look at me for once?” She said with teary eyes

” You need to go now, I don’t have an handkerchief to offer” he said and made to turn his back on her but she pulled him to herself and tried kissing him..

Brandon pushed her away and she crashed on his chair heavily

Mateo came in instantly without knocking

“Get off my life Heather!, Stop being a pest!” Brandon yelled

Mateo quickly helped Heather up and faced Brandon

“Did you just push her?” Mateo said, leaving Heather to face Brandon

” Sure, she tried to do what I hate!” He yelled

“And does that give you the audacity to push her you futureless doctor!” Mateo yelled back

” Thanks, doctor with a rotten future” Brandon replied indifferently

” Did you just call my future rotten?” Mateo said, drawing the quotation marks on “rotten” with his fingers in the air

“Well isn’t it rotten?, It’s breeding maggots too” Brandon replied and in anger, Mateo tried to punch him but he grabbed his punch and pushed him away with that

Mateo staggered and fell on his chair too

“Do you even have intestines?, Eat more balanced died, if not…if I punch your face, you’ll go blind” Brandon said and left his office, leaving the two of them dumbfounded

Bliss college**

“My gosh!, Can’t believe I’ve finished writing the test!, If I don’t get full marks I’ll die so I wrote the test with all I have, my full marks is so sure, thirty on thirty” she gushed as she left the class with her friends

“My full marks is sure too” Farrell said assuredly

Farrell is regarded to as bookworm in the department, she’s f*cking brilliant!

Jasmine is an average student, not that brilliant and not dumb, just in the middle

“My CGPA must fly” Jamison said

“What exactly caused Rosalind to break up with you?” Farrell suddenly asked

” She suddenly said she got tired of me and that she got another boyfriend” Jamison replied sadly

” How sad,but don’t worry, you’ll get another girlfriend in no time,you’re handsome” Nirvana smiled

” When will you get yourself a boyfriend Farrell?” Jamison said and Farrell gave him mean looks

“Farrell!” Shawn’s voice called from behind and they all looked back to see him coming with a book that belongs to Farrell

“You forgot this in the class” he said, giving it to her

She took it and muttered a dry “thanks” before leaving with her friends

“Someone is acting nice” Nirvana said

“He might be your future boyfriend, who knows” Jamison said and Farrell rolled eyes at him

” Guys, you have to follow me to the boutique I ordered a new designer for me and you” Farrell said, facing Nirvana

” Me?, I really don’t like trends” Nirvana replied

” I’m aware, but you gotta see this, it’s bam!, We’ll rock it on the provost’s birthday party, all the students are invited” Farrell said

” Oh” Nirvana replied

” I’m not following you guys,see you guys tomorrow!” Jamison said and left

” That idiot” Farrell said

Farrell drove in her car while Nirvana drove in hers behind her to the boutique

Soon she noticed a red car following them, it has been trailing after them since they started the journey to the boutique and Nirvana can’t help but notice

“Did you notice that car has been following us?” She asked the driver

” No, I’m just noticing now that you said it” he replied and increased the car pace

The red car increased it’s pace too

Nirvana texted Farrell about it and Farrell called back

“What do we do I’m scared” Farrell said

“I need to make a call” Nirvana replied and hung up

She dialled Brandon’s line and luckily he picked at the first ring

“Doctor I think a car is following me right now” she said quickly

” Inhale and exhale three times, no questions” Brandon’s voice replied and she obeyed

” Let them keep following you, I gat you” he said and hung up

“Is he kidding me right now?, F*ck!” She said and tried to dial his line again but the red car crossed her car already

They’re now in an underdeveloped area and no one is passing by

” Oh my God” she said fearfully as four hefty guys came out of the car, one of them went to Farrell’s car and she was dragged out of it

A gunshot followed, breaking the front window of Nirvana’s car, the bullet hit her driver in the arm and he screamed, holding his arm

“Murphy!, Murphy!” She called as hands grabbed her and she was dragged out of the car roughly

“Let me go!, Let me go please!, Leave me alone!” She shouted as she was bundled up to the shoulders of one of them who started taking her to their car, Farrell has been thrown into the car and she can hear the sound of her cries as she was taken nearer and nearer to the car

Just few steps away from the car, a gunshot distracted them and immediately the gunshot sounded , one of them went down straight and the one holding Nirvana stood still, looking around but he’s not seeing anyone

“Who the f*ck are you!” He yelled

“Your boss, now bow down bastard!” Brandon’s voice said behind them and they looked back to see him standing behind a car, no one even knew when he got there

He’s wearing his mask and playing with his gun

“Zelda’s weapon?” The one holding Nirvana said

“Also known as the merciless, sharp shooter is part of my numerous names too, now at the count of one to three, put her down and run for your life…. one!” Brandon said loudly, cocking his gun.

The other two guys tried shooting but just with a bullet each, Brandon eliminated the two and they fell

“Two!” Brandon said

The guy put Nirvana down and threw down his gun, he ran to Brandon and a combat ensued between them

Brandon knowingly allowed him to use all his strength in beating him at first, he’s punching him, kicking him and beating him roughly but he’s even smiling though he’s bleeding from the mouth slightly

The guy punched him again and more blood came out of his mouth

Nirvana covered her mouth from where she’s watching from

When Brandon detected that the guy is tired, he held his neck and choked him till he vomited blood, he has no power to fight back anymore since he has used everything in punching him

Brandon hit his back on the car and brought a rope out of his car which he tied on the guy’s neck tightly

“In your next life, if anyone tells you to touch her, tell them you’re not ready to die young” he wishpered into his ear before tying the rope to the car booth

He then entered the car and revved the car roughly down the dusty place, dragging him with the car, his whole body became bloody as it dragged on the ground

Brandon kept driving till he’s sure that he’s dead

He stopped the car and came out of it to check him

His whole body is unrecognizable as a result of the dragging and blood is oozing out of all parts of his body

“In your next life, avoid her please” he whispered and stood

Nirvana is standing far away, looking at him with much admiration, he just killed those who tried to harm her and she can’t just ask for more

Farrell rushed out of the red car and went into her car, she told the driver to drive away quickly as a result of fear and the driver drove off

Nirvana inhaled hard and started running towards Brandon, trying to cover the long distance between them

Brandon just stood still watching her with interest as if in a slow mo till she got to him and jumped on him like a baby, thankfully he held her quickly, they’d have fell together if not for that

She entangled her legs behind him and hugged him tightly then buried her face in the crook of his neck

“Hey little thing” Brandon said, still holding her in place

She went mute and stayed like that for some minutes before removing her face from his neck, she faced him and took off his mask from his face without warning

“How bold” Brandon smiled

“I love you doctor, I love you very much, thanks for saving me again, how can you even look s*xy while killing that bastard?, How do you manage to look s*xy in all what you do” she said

“This craziness again” Brandon said

She traced his brow with her thumbs and before he knew it, she poured kisses on his face without stopping

“Nirvana…” He said and she stopped, it’s the first time he’ll be calling her by her name and she loves it..

“I need to put you down, we should leave” he said

“Call me Nirvana again” she said

“Why?”

“Cos I love how you said it, or at least call me little bug” she said

“No” he replied

” Then I’m not coming down” she replied

” Must you always be like this? ” He said and she nodded childishly

Brandon looked away and looked back at her after some minutes

“Nirvana love bug … Happy now?” He said and she smiled then started kissing his face again

” Stop little thing” Brandon said though he’s smiling

“No sweetheart” she replied

“You’re insane’ he said

” I know” she said and kissed his nose then bit her lip seductively

He quickly looked away from the tempting pink lips

“I’ll throw you down” he said but she tangled her legs more tightly around him

“You don’t dare, else I’ll tell the whole world you’re Zelda’s weapon, so now I want to to carry me to the car like this Greek god” she winked

” F*ck you Nirvana” he said

” Damn you Brandon” she replied with a puppy face and before he knew it, he’s laughing handsomely again.
