In view of that, the entire city is holding official mourning from the start of this week.” ;

From the shock on his, it was evident that Shalam was not privy to this piece of news. “Governor Pediot lost his son?” Felicia was not expecting the guy to react so strongly. ;

“Indeed.” She took a pause, letting the man soak in the news. Shalam sat back up, dazed. “This.. when did that happen?” He had heard about the invasion thing from some fellow drunkards, but no one told him that governor Pediot’s boy perished in the same invasion. ;

Felicia too stood back up, taking in Shalam’s changing expressions. “More than two weeks had gone by. But why is your face so drained? It’s not like the city itself perished. Only the boy and a few of his friends lost their lives in the misadventure by the prince.” ;

Sweat that had dried up returned to Shalam’s face as he shook his head. “Sorry, miss Cia. I.. I must take my leave.” Felicia had currently discerned that this man was probably related to the governor’s family in some way. ;

She watched her haphazardly dress up and run off. “Oh.. how interesting.. I guess I know where to head next as well.” The naked lady in the bed gently removed her mask to reveal a beautiful face beneath it. ;

Ryu walked through the streets of the village amidst my greetings. Almost all the village recognized him after the events of last night. He too responded with similar levels of enthusiasm.

“Why am I the only one being dropped out?” A boy walking to his side protested in a grumpy voice. Juttu had always been a meek child, never questioning his parents’ decisions. But right now, he can’t ignore the partiality even if he wanted to do so.

Marta, Courtney, and their mother, all had their husbands accompanying them. Apart from the grown-ups, he discovered a young boy who was probably only 7 to 8 years of age. ;

Looking at how he was sticking to Marta’s side, Ryu assumed him to be her son. Sure enough, once the group reached there, Marta quickly introduced her family. ;

Ryu had earlier given the impression that he was in a hurry, as such, Marta wrapped up the conversation within a minute. “Come here, young one. The two groups of people said their goodbyes as Ryu led his women outside of the village perimeters where Lyod had been waiting for him. ;

The boy chanced upon the irritated look the old man threw at him. Nevertheless, a proud Ryu ignored him promptly while bringing his ladies to stand next to him. “Let’s go, master.” ;
