At the moment humans were even struggling to survive as a species. They had neither the time nor the energy to deal with the matters of such importance.

“Also, I think I should send a personal thanks to Mrs. Emily.” Graham gladly agreed. “Yes. Mrs. Emily could have easily let us suffer our deaths at the hands of the being. And considering its might, we could have barely been able to do anything about it. Yet, she had shown a great heart and saved our lives, in the benefit of our race.”

“I will do that whenever I meet the lady personally. For now, you can rest as well. I will deal with the fallout.” Edwin got to his feet, walking over and patting Graham’s shoulders before taking his leave. The lead guard too closed the door behind him, he himself had not fully recovered from his injuries.
