Elaine immediately entered the wedding anniversary of Charlie and Claire into the ATM.

The screen prompted, “Hello, honorable Citibank Supreme VIP member, your password is incorrect, you have one attempt left today.”

“Damn it!” Elaine cursed. “Wrong again? Damn, I have only one chance left…”

She was stomping anxiously, suddenly, a thought struck her mind. Could it be Charlie’s own birthday?

She wanted to give it a try eagerly, but she suddenly realized that she didn’t know when his birthday was. She sheepishly took out her phone and called Claire.

She hurriedly asked as soon as the call was answered, “Claire, when is Charlie’s birthday?”

Claire asked skeptically, “Mom, why do you want to know?”

She knew that her mother had always looked down upon Charlie, so she couldn’t comprehend why she wanted to know Charlie’s birthday so abruptly.

Elaine said, abashed, “Oh, erm, Charlie got us a villa, didn’t he? He worked hard for that, so I want to reward him with something like celebrating his birthday.”

“The second of February.”

Elaine frowned, “February 2? Candlemas?”

“Yes, Candlemas.”

“Hmm… What about the day he was sent to the orphanage?”

“March 13.”

“Alright, noted.”

Elaine ended the call quickly, then she stumbled into a dilemma again.

She knew what year Charlie was born and how old he was when he was sent to the orphanage, but she was not sure if it would be 0202 for his birthday or 0313 for the so-called orphanage commemoration day.

There was only one more chance to try the password. If she made a mistake, the card would automatically be blocked.

So she had to make a choice between the two options and she had to guess it right.

Elaine felt that his birthday would be more meaningful than the day he was sent to the orphanage since the latter was a rather sorrowful occasion.

After consideration, she figured that the birthday would be more significant and make more sense, so she keyed in his birthday while pursing her lips.

Immediately afterward, a prompt that made her thrilled popped up on the screen. “Hello, honorable Citibank Supreme VIP member, your password has been successfully verified. Please select a service.”

Elaine was overjoyed as she had finally guessed the password correctly.

She immediately clicked the option to check the balance, wanting to see how much money Charlie had in his account.

After a while, a series of long numbers popped up on the screen that made her dizzy and in a trance.

“Wow, I didn’t know that Charlie the loser has so much money with him! Let’s see how many times I can go for facials with this amount.”

Elaine murmured and started counting. As she went on, her mouth slowly agape, her eyes widened little by little. Then, her jaw dropped!

“Ten, hundred, thousand, ten thousand, hundred thousand, million, ten million!!!”

“Hundred million!!!”

“Billion!!!”

“Ten billion!!!”

Elaine clutched her chest, attempting to calm her thumping heart down and to prevent herself from fainting!

She yelled frantically, “The loser has 21.9 billion in his account?!?!”
