The CEO’S Unplanned Heir ( Aurelia Hawthorne ) - Season 4 Episode 33
“What?” Jolin jolted, her eyes wide with shock.
Aurelia always kept secrets. She had hidden her pregnancy from Jolin until she was almost due. Now,
she was keeping Liam a secret too.
“Why didn’t you tell Leopold that Liam is alive? It’s been torturing him with guilt.”
Aurelia bit her lower lip and said, “I haven’t decided to get back together with him yet. If I told him, he
would definitely take Liam away.”
Jolin let out a heavy sigh. She guessed Aurelia probably hadn’t gotten over Arnold yet, hence her
reluctance to accept Leopold, who would have to try hard to win her back.
When they went downstairs, Kane and William were playing chess, with Leopold giving William some
pointers as this was his first time playing.

William realized that Mr. Ice wasn’t as boring as he thought, at least he was teaching him how to play
chess.
Aurelia stroked his head and said, “William, I’m going to the Stirling family with Leopold. You stay here,
okay? Your grandpa and Uncle Avery will be back tonight.”
“Okay.” He pouted. He planned to call his dad later and ask him to come back sooner.
Seeing his unhappiness, Kane suggested, “William, why don’t you come with us? We can build a
treehouse and play with robots together.”
That sounded like fun, but he knew his dad wouldn’t be happy about it, so William shook his head and
replied, “I’m good here.”
Upon entering the Stirling Mansion with Leopold, Aurelia was greeted by Jessica and Sheryl, who were
coming downstairs.
Jessica sat down on the sofa and slowly said, “Since Aurelia is now a part of the Stirling family, she

should start getting involved in family matters.”
Leopold frowned, asking, “Mom, what do you want her to do?”
Jessica replied, “Arnold is getting married. His bride’s family wants the wedding to be held at Elysium. I
thought this matter could be handled by Aurelia and Sheryl.”

Aurelia’s heart pounded. She already knew that Arnold was marrying the daughter of Freysland’s
richest man. From that moment, she knew that it was completely over between her and Arnold.
Once he was married, getting a divorce would be impossible. His mother would be the first to object.
He could give up her for his mother once, and he couldn’t do it a second
time.

And Jessica was probably doing this on purpose, wanting her to put an end to things with Arnold.
Leopold held her hand and said, “Aurelia still has to work, so Sheryl can handle this.”
“It’s okay.” She pressed her lips together and whispered, “I’ll do my best.”
Leopold was happy to hear that. If she could face Arnold’s wedding calmly, it would be a joy for him.
Jessica nodded slightly, “The new bride will come over later. Know what she needs and discuss it.”
Sheryl smiled, “Don’t worry. We will handle it perfectly.”
Aurelia glanced at her. They had had issues in the past. Could they really get along? After going
upstairs, Leopold whispered, “You don’t need to force yourself.”
She shrugged and gave a sad smile, “Even if I don’t do anything, I can’t pretend this isn’t happening. I
have to face it sooner or later.”
She did have feelings for Arnold. He was her family, her best friend, and her savior. But she was a
practical woman and didn’t want to get caught up in a deadly situation. If there was no outcome, if it
was like a moth flying into a flame, she would have to cut the Gordian knot.
Leopold pulled her into his arms, “Maybe this is fate. You’re destined to be my woman, and you must
accept it.”
She gave him a sideways glance, “Other than having money to spend, I don’t see any benefits to being
your woman.”
A wicked grin spread across his face, “I’ll show you.”
Aurelia’s big eyes were revealing a hint of cunning, “If you really want me to be your woman, you’d
better be prepared. I absolutely won’t allow you to have mistresses.”
