The CEO’S Unplanned Heir ( Aurelia Hawthorne ) - Season 4 Episode 16
He’d tracked her down, and naturally, he had discovered that she’d been with Arnold all this time…
they even had a child together!
It was as if he’d been given a glimmer of hope, only to be sucker–punched!
Aurelia swallowed hard, trying to ease the lump in her throat, “We’re divorced, Leopold. Whether I live
or die, and who I’m with… what does it matter to you?”
A sharp pang of pain flashed through Leopold’s heart when he heard her words.
She had never cared for him, never held him dear, her heart belonged to Arnold alone. That was why
she had chosen to fake her own death, to leave him, to be with Arnold!
“Is Arnold so important to you?”
A forlorn smile gradually appeared on Aurelia’s face. Who was it that cruelly abandoned her and Liam?

Who was getting married and having a child with another woman? Without Arnold, she and Liam
would’ve been long gone!
“I’m happy now, living the life I’ve always wanted. Arnold is the man who loves me most in this world,
no one can compare, especially not you!”
In his presence, she had never felt warmth, only coldness. Never care, only mockery. Never protection,
only disdain! Each word she spoke was like a dagger to Leopold’s heart, leaving him in excruciating
pain.
“We’re not divorced, I tore up the papers. Alive or dead, you’re still my wife!”
Aurelia trembled violently, “Why? You clearly don’t love me!”
No, he did love her, and his heart space was small, it could only hold one woman.
But he wouldn’t say a word because she didn’t love him, she didn’t care about his feelings! So he
would never confess his feeling because his pride just wouldn’t allow it!

“I may not love you, but in my dictionary, there is no such word as divorce!”
His bluntness always dealt a heavy blow to Aurelia, shattering any illusions she might occasionally

She knew it was his possessiveness at play. He had been competing with Arnold since birth, how could
he possibly hand her over to his biggest rival?
“From the moment I jumped, it was over between us. Even if you won’t divorce me, I am no longer your
wife.”
She limped forward with the aid of her cane, and he rushed up to her, grabbing her arm, “What

She wouldn’t tell him that she almost became a vegetable, or that she had been paralyzed for three
years, confined to a wheelchair. He didn’t need to know how much she’d suffered, such a hard–hearted
man like him wouldn’t sympathize or pity her.
Leopold slowly released his grip, “I’ll be waiting for you at Elysium with Kane. If I don’t see you within a
week, I’ll come to New York to get you in the name of your husband!”
His tone was full of threats, and he added, “Your parents and Avery are also at Elysium, they would be

Aurelia walked away slowly, her mouth tasting bitter, spreading from her tongue to the very core of her
being.
When she returned to her room, she sat by the window for a long time before knocking on Arnold’s
door.
Arnold was already up, their child still asleep in the bedroom.
Seeing her pallor, he asked worriedly, “Did you catch a cold too?”
Aurelia shook her head, swallowing hard before managing to speak, “I… I ran into Leopold.”
A shiver of dread ran through Arnold, it was his worst fear coming true! He grasped her shoulders, his
heart lodged in his throat, “Is he going to take you away?” Be
