The CEO’S Unplanned Heir ( Aurelia Hawthorne ) - Season 3 Episode 50
Jolin took a sip of her coffee, calmly stating, “This is your family’s business, not ours. We will never sell
the ancestral house. You were the one who said it was an invaluable asset of the Hawthorne family,
and it should never be sold. I remember every word clearly.”
Aurelia guessed that Jolin must have felt quite relieved saying this.
As the saying goes, never take things too far.
If
you were ruthless when others were in trouble, didn’t expect anyone to lend a hand when you were
down.
Perla was disgruntled. She quickly gave Belinda a look, urging her to speak up.
Belinda said, “We are a family, and we should not hold grudges. Your two kids have moved to Elysium,
and you and Zack will join them sooner or later. The ancestral house will be sold eventually. Why not
sell it now and help Ritchie? He is your nephew.”
Jolin scoffed, “If we held grudges, do you think we would still take care of you? You were so cold to

Zack when he was born just because some fortune teller said he was a curse. You wanted him dead.
You fed all the milk to five–year–old Rahul and refused to feed Zack, it was only thanks to Grandma
that he survived. He didn’t enjoy any maternal love, only Grandma’s care.”
She paused and continued, “When he got into college, you refused to finance him. Thanks to
Grandma’s support, he was able to finish his studies. When it came to splitting the ancestral house,
you wanted us to pay but refused to give us our share. It was Grandma who made the fairest decision.
The house was passed down directly from her to Zack and Rahul, it has nothing to do with you.”
Belinda looked pale when she heard this, “Those are all old issues, and why bring them up now?”
“Let’s talk about the present.” Jolin had been holding back for two years, and she couldn’t hold it in any
longer.

This was called striking first.
“Avery is your grandson. When he was ill, did you show any concern? You spent all your pension on
Ritchie’s game equipment but you didn’t want to pay a penny for Avery’s medical bills. Did you ever
treat him like your grandson?”
Belinda was speechless, pretending to be ill, clutching her chest, panting heavily, “Are you trying to
anger me to death? It’s my money, and I can give it to whomever I want. I like Ritchie, I want to give

him money. It’s none of your business.”
Aurelia got herself a cup of water, smiling, “Grandma, calm down. We don’t want your money. Since
Ritchie wants to buy a house, we should support him. The notary made it clear that the first and second
floors belong to us, the third and fourth to Rahul’s family, the fifth floor is for aunt, and the sixth floor is
shared. If Rahul wants to sell his part, we won’t stop him. Is that okay?”
Perla sneered, “The buyer is interested in the first floor, and how much can we get for selling the upper
floors?”
Aurelia laughed, “The first floor is ours. If we sell it, the money is ours. Besides, Dad and Aunt are
running a store together. If we sell it, will you compensate for the loss?”
Perla grunted, “You’re marrying into a wealthy family, and why do you care about this money? Can’t
you give the money from selling the house to Ritchie to help him?”
Ritchie, sitting aside, was getting impatient, “I want to buy a house. If you don’t sell the ancestral house, give me the money.”
Belinda quickly patted his head, soothing him like a child, “Don’t worry. Grandma will deal with it.”
Aurelia and Jelena exchanged a glance, and they were speechless.
Ritchie was a spoiled brat.
