During the weekly Monday meeting, Louis brought good news the ‘Eternal Love‘ series continued to

Leopold lounged in his chair, propping his forehead with his left hand, his face expressionless as if he

was wearing an icy mask. Only his eyes were deep, like an ancient well, unfathomable. He didn’t listen

to a word. of Louis’s report because he was in a bad mood.

Last night, he had a nightmare that Aurelia had disappeared. He searched everywhere, but he couldn’t

find her! Unconsciously, his gaze fixated on Aurelia, a dark, locked gaze as if he was afraid she would

vanish if he blinked.

In the morning, as soon as he got in the car, he noticed the chill in the air, probably due to Mr.

Leopold’s another squabble with Ms. Aurelia.

After Louis finished his report, he timely interjected, “Manager Aurelia, how’s ‘Destiny‘ coming along?”

Leopold instantly snapped back to reality, shifted his gaze, picked up his cup, took a sip of his coffee,

hiding all the unusual emotions behind the rim of the cup..

Aurelia had been keeping her head down, only looking up when she heard Kevin’s voice, “The first

batch of products are ready for production, we’re now preparing for the subsequent supporting work.”

Kevin gave a slight nod.

Seeing Aurelia not speaking anymore, Louis cleared his throat and prodded, “Manager Aurelia, don’t

you have anything else to say?”

“No, ‘Destiny‘ hasn’t hit the market yet, so I don’t have anything special to report,” Aurelia replied

blandly.

Louis gave her a look, this girl really didn’t have any insight. Mr. Leopold’s intentions were so clear,

hinting for her to voluntarily withdraw, and she didn’t get it? So clueless!

“Manager Aurelia, it’s impossible for ‘Destiny‘ to surpass the ‘Eternal Love‘ series in sales, the position

Leopold cast another glance at Aurella. Today, he wanted to do one thing, have this woman stay under

his watch all day to punish her for running around in his dreams last night!

“That’s it for today’s meeting, you’re dismissed.”

He stood up, walked to the conference room door, paused, and said in a casual tone, “Aurelia, come to

my office.”

All eyes in the room fell on Aurelia, who felt a light sweat. She had a feeling the big boss was

intentionally making her uncomfortable. Did she do something wrong again to upset him?

She mumbled a little “Oh,” stood up, and followed him out with an awkward expression.

Louis sighed and shook his head, looking regretful, “This girl is too inexperienced, she doesn’t know

how to seize the opportunity. Now she’s been called into Mr. Leopold’s office, she’s bound to come out

crying.”
