Aurelia offered a secretive smile, “That’s a secret.”

Leopold knitted his brows, “Don’t you trust your boss?”

Trust him? Not a chance!

Aurelia admitted to herself, her trump card had to be played at the right time, if he leaked it to Evelyn, she’d be done for.

With a smirk, she shot back at Leopold, “Trust my boss? Of course, I do. I just want to surprise you. Spilling the beans too soon would ruin the suspense.”

Leopold was indeed curious, for Aurelia’s creativity was unique and often exceeded expectations.

“Well then, I’ll look forward to it.”

Aurelia took a sip of her water, wanting to ask if he knew about Evelyn’s memorial event last night but swallowed her words.

He must be still grieving.

Best not to bring up such a sore subject.

This time, her phone buzzed. Jenny had sneakily sent a message on WhatsApp.

[Elowen was here, and she had slapped Evelyn the moment she walked in.]

She quickly tucked her phone back into her coat pocket.

“Mr. Leopold, I need to head back to my department. There are some matters I need to attend to.”

How could she miss such a spectacle?

Back in the Design Department, Elowen was glaring furiously at Evelyn, “I am the chosen one of the Stirling family. The moment I was born, I was destined to marry Leopold. Your sister tried to fight me for him, defied fate, and was taken away by God. Do you want to follow in her footsteps and meet her?”

Despite being in the conference room, the door was ajar, and their voices drifted out.

Everyone had their ears pricked, listening to the drama unfolding inside.

Evelyn scoffed, “Everyone knows why my sister had an accident. You’re well aware of that. Karma will catch

up to you.”

Hearing this, Aurelia, who was at the door, was stunned.

Was Elowen involved in Megan’s death?

Elowen sneered, “As I recall, you and Megan weren’t that close when she was alive. Now that she’s dead, you’re playing the devoted sister card. You just want to take her place, don’t you? Maybe you were jealous of her relationship with Leopold, and in order to take her place, you got rid of her.”

A cold glint flashed in Evelyn’s eyes, “Don’t slander me. Everyone knows how close my sister and I were since we were kids. We were inseparable.”

Elowen laughed mockingly, “Two sisters in love with the same man and still inseparable? That’s strange.”

Aurelia thought to herself, Megan’s death might not be as simple as it seemed. There were probably some

dark secrets behind it.

At that moment, Elowen walked out, “I’m going to find my fiancé now. I’ll be watching you. Don’t think you can pull anything under my nose.”

At the doorway, she paused and looked at Aurelia. Aurelia gave her a small smile, “Mr. Leopold is in his

office.”

She nodded and walked away.

Opening her laptop, Aurelia saw an email from Kevin sent to the Commerce Department, instructing them to fully support the promotion and marketing of the “Destiny” series.

The wind was starting to change.

Everyone was secretly guessing the boss‘ thoughts.

And that’s exactly what Aurelia wanted.

Harry sent a WhatsApp message: [Did you go see Mr. Kevin?]

[I went straight to Mr. Leopold. He values profitable products. As long as my designs can sell, he has no reason not to support me.] Aurelia replied.

[Manager Aurelia, you’re young and bold.]

[Mr. Harry, trust me, your choice won’t be wrong.]

Aurelia smiled to herself, never giving up and never admitting defeat was her life’s principle.

Evelyn cast a dark look her way, certain that Aurelia had just been to Leopold’s office.

It was rumored that she was the most frequent visitor to the CEO’s office.

Everyone else, including the vice president, feared the big boss, but where did she get the courage to approach him directly?
