Loretta pursed her red lips until the black car disappeared from sight. Then she looked up and said, “Cal…”

“The Wallace family?” Carlos was puzzled but complied, wondering how the Wallace family got into trouble with Jonathan.”

On the other hand, as soon as Chelsea got home, she told her family about what happened. Her parents were stunned, whereas her brother cursed her for offending Jonathan. They wondered why she had to upset Jonathan out of all people.

Especially when they learned that she had become the scapegoat for Jasmine, they were even more frustrated.

Due to tax-related issues, the Wallace family had been under a lot of pressure, and they were afraid that attending the banquet would lead to questions from the media. So they sent Chelsea to the event, thinking it would help them establish connections with the Lane family and the Olsen family. They had never expected things to turn out this way.

“I’m doing it for the family’s sake. I’ll go apologize to Rosalie later,” Chelsea said stubbornly. However, deep down, she thought it would resolve things if she apologized and made amends with Rosalie.

After Gilbert and her mother heard that, they sighed and said, “We can only do that now. When you go, prepare some valuable gifts.”
