Paula, seeing that Lady Angela had agreed, took Julia and Kira to sit down on

the couch across from Claire.

Lady Angela’s eyes never left Claire’s face with inquiry and curiosity.

“Did you make those dishes?”

Claire graciously replied, “Yes, I did.”

Angela’s eyes fell on Claire’s tender and soft hands, “Your hands don’t look

like those of a cook.”

“Oh…” Claire laughed pleasantly, “Cooking is just a hobby of mine, I used to do a lot of it, but rarely do

it now.”

Lady Angela nodded and exchanged pleasantries with Claire, who was relaxed instead of nervous, the

chat lightened her mood.

“CoCo, I’m curious, why did you make me those dishes?”

“Lady Angela, I wanted to see you and so did others. Odds are you’ve met a lot of people since you got

off the plane.”

Lady Angela laughed as Claire finished speaking.

Claire squinted at him and pouted, “It went well and it went terribly.”

Sean frowned at Julia, who then reacted to the fact that she had only told Logan they met Lady Angela

but had forgotten to tell him the results.
