Draco occupied the entire dinning room with his friends. They were celebrating on their victory for De Conto’s arrest.
It’s almost the sixth time they had cheered their glass of whiskey to each other, and it’s all like they were just having a toast for the first time that night.
They were used to drugs and drink, so getting drunk was the least thing ever expected to them.
” I can’t believe you let the cops have him.” one of them said. ” How did you find out about his hide out? ”
” I’ve got spies, remember? ” He gulped his alcohol. ” The night of the bait, I sent two of my guards after him. He’s pretty smart to have made the wrong turn, but someone else still had an eye on him. ”
” He isn’t smart after all. ” said another, and they all laughed. ” I was thinking he was way too smart like you or your father but no, ” shook his head. ” he’s just the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. ”
The atmosphere of the dinning was covered with the purging smell of the alcohol with the smokes from the cigarette almost all of them had in their hands.
Draco has stopped drinking, he was now smoking on his weed.
” What about Jackson?” Asked another.
” Jackson is a forgotten property. It’s almost like four months since I killed him. ”
” Why didn’t anyone tell me? ”
” You never asked. ” Charles chipped in with a chuckle.
The door to the dinning room open, a young man in his early thirties walked in. ” Boss.” He called for Draco’s attention.
” How is it? ” He asked, knowing why he had shown up.
” They’re all in the warehouse.” The young man answered.
” And the money? ”
” The men are counting it. ”
” How much is it? ”
” We aren’t sure yet but we have about an estimate of two hundred million dollars. ”
He smirked victoriously.
” Oh my goodness! What did I just hear? Two hundred f*cking what?! ” The first speaker said in amazement. ” Damn, that’s the highest hit so far.”
They rose in applaud, while Draco inhaled a huge amount of his Cigar, puffing it like eternity.
After another toast, while they drank. Someone asked. ” Hey, Luciano, what about your pet?”
He rose an eyebrow at him. ” What pet? ” He asked back.
” The beautiful lady your father brought to the club five months ago.”
” She isn’t my pet.” He said, sounding a bit pissed off.
” Why don’t you sell her to me, I think she’ll be of a great benefits to me. ”
” There’s no need trading, you can have her if you want. ” He said, less concerned.
” Hey, d**k,” referring to Charles, ” go call me that little angel upstairs.”
” You’re the one who wants her, maybe you should go yourself. ”
” Hey, you f*cking listen to me, okay? I said, go call her for me. ”
” And I said, go do that yourself. ”
The man ignored Charles rude attitude, heading out of the dinning. On reaching to the door, he paused, turning to Draco.
” Where’s her room?” He asked.
” Upstairs, by the right. Check for the door with a Barbie colour, that’s her room. ”
” A Barbie coloured door? ”
He shrugged.
Everywhere got quiet as they listened to what might happen next. Draco knew this won’t end up well, but he wasn’t interested in anything.
” Hey, pretty lady, open up.” They heard his voice, then the sound of an opened door. ” Hey, an… ”
” Who the f*ck are you? And how the heck did you get up here?” Natalie stormed without letting him finish his statement.
” C’mon, take it easy, girl. It’s just the two of us, okay?”
” Excuse me, did I just hear you say the two of us? ”
” Yes, that’s exactly what I said. ”
” Now, I’m gonna make this quick and nice with you, asshole. I want you out of my room and you get you ass back to where you came from! If you’re looking for some naughty girl who you’re gonna f*ck with, then you’ve got the wrong girl. ”

” Hey, babe, I… ”
” You better shut the f*ck up or I’ll be cutting off your d*ck, and shove it so far off your ass that it comes out of your mouth. F*ck… Off! ” She banged the door on his face, not minding if it had hit his nose.
He walked back to the dinning like a disowned son, then with a loud laughter, they welcomed him back.
” If you’re looking for some naughty girl to f*ck with, then you’ve got the wrong girl. ” Charles happily repeated the words to him.
” Now you shut the f*ck up, okay!” He said angrily as he went to his seat.
Charles seemed to be the one laughing the most at him, and this got him angry the more.
Draco’s lips has been with the same smile on his face, with a scoff which broader it the more.

It was weekend, and it’s me sitting my ass on my favourite couch, hoping for Ruthie to call me that she was finally going to come over.
I’ve tried her number several times but she isn’t picking. There’s no one to talk to. Every thing about this place seems boring to me.
Speaking of boring, he’s only making it worst.
Not quiet long of thinking about Ruthie, she called.
Hey, Ruth, I’ve been waiting for ages for your call. So wassup today? ”
I’m sorry, Nat, I won’t make it today.” She said.
Is there a problem?” I asked.
Yes. And it’s my aunt. She got admitted to the hospital this morning, I’m on my way to see her. ”
Was she involved in an accident?”
No. She’s terribly sick and her fever is so high. Look, Nat, I wish I can come over b… ”
No, don’t worry. Go take care of your aunt first. ”
Thanks for understanding. I’ll make it up to you by tomorrow, I promise. ”
Okay, until then. Have a nice day, and send my greetings to your aunt.”
I will. Have a nice day too. Bye.”
Bye. ” I hung the call.
Staring at my phone, the time was a minute past eleven. It feels like eternity to embrace tomorrow.
I wish nothing ever happened to her aunt. She would have been here by now.
He walked to the wine bar, taking a bottle of red wine with two glass cups with him.
” Hey,” I said as he was heading back to his room.
He turned to look at me, with an angry look which told that I was actually disturbing him. But I don’t care about that.
” Did you just say ‘hey? ‘” he asked, a bit annoyed.
” Yes, I did.”
He made no comment.
” Are you gonna keep acting like this forever? Like you don’t even notice I live here too. ”
” So, what are you trying to say? ”
” We should at least get to know each other more better and not pretending like we haven’t met at all. ”
” So, what’s so special about you that you want me to know, huh? You’re Miss Natalie Bradeson, daughter to my father’s best friend, what else? ”
” They’re other things we can still talk about. ”
” Like the fact that you’re a journalist? Tsk, I don’t deal with journalists, they aren’t my type. ”
” It’s not about being a journalist. ” I tried to explain.
” Then it’s about being what? ”
” You’ve never talked to me. ” She muttered but he could hear it.

” Well, I think I just did now.”
” Why do you so much hate me?” She asked in a whisper. ” You see me as your enemy, why? ”
He chuckled. ” If you were my enemy, what makes you think you’ll be breathing by now? And talking about hatred, I don’t hate you, you’re just not my type. ” He left the sitting room, and I hated myself for ever asking him that.
I should be the one hating him the most because of the kind of job he does. But it seems like he’s the one who hates me the most.
And… I keep wondering why…
