The next morning, I struggled to wake up with dark circles beneath my eyes. Oswald was surprised to see my haggard face. “Cass, you don’t look well. Do you feel uncomfortable?”

“Don’t you know I was sleepless because of you last night?” I said curtly. Oswald was stunned for a moment and then hugged me with a wicked smile. “I won’t drink afterward. Let’s do some exercise to help you sleep!”

I didn’t know why, but as soon as I heard what he said, I had a churning stomach. I rushed into the bathroom to vomit violently, with tears streaming down my face. I turned around and quickly dressed myself. Different from my usual dressing style, I put on jeans and a T-shirt, put my hair into a ponytail and wore a hat. Then I went to the coffee shop opposite the Glorious Building and took the best seat, watching the entrance of the building. I knew this was the dumbest method, but it might be the most effective.

However, I found nothing for three consecutive days. Unexpectedly, I saw a familiar figure sitting by the last window on the second floor. It was Eleanor, who was always very busy. She wore a fine rose-pink professional suit, looking quite beautiful. I chuckled at the coincidence. I didn’t expect to see Eleanor there. I thought I could ask her to see whom Oswald was with, so I took out my phone and called her without hesitation.

I felt like I was slapped by her, with a burning sensation in my face. I smiled and asked, “Where are you?” “I’m in a meeting at the company. I’ll call you back later.” I saw that Eleanor’s eyes were fixed on Oswald’s handsome face. Eleanor’s answer left me stunned. I didn’t expect that Oswald would be with Eleanor.
