- Season 1 Episode 51 - Unexpected Situation
I woke up, realizing that I was already lying on a hospital bed in the emergency room. Everything was normal, the earth–shattering pain had completely disappeared, and I felt nothing at all.
Beside me was a concerned–looking Raymon, it seemed that he was the one who had brought me to the hospital. My sudden condition must have frightened him, I felt somewhat apologetic.
“Did I scare you? I’m sorry!” I laughed awkwardly, “You always see me at my most embarrassing moments. Thank you! You saved me again!”
“Are you okay now?” He asked, carefully studying my face with a hint of
unease.
“I have gallstones, it’s an old problem!” I said lightly.
He called the doctor, who examined me again. The doctor informed me in detail about my condition and precautions, then told Raymon that I could leave after the IV was finished. He, still worried, confirmed it again.
After the doctor left, I comforted him, “Don’t worry, this condition is just like that. It’s terrifying when the pain strikes, but once the pain is over, there’s no feeling at all.”
He nodded, then said to me, “Do you want to notify your… …family?”
I shook my head, family? To me now, the only family member was still too young, other than my daughter, I had no other family to speak of. There was no one who truly cared about me anymore, so why bother watching him put on a show?
Even I didn’t know when it had turned into such a situation. What on earth had I done wrong to make him betray me like this?

The saddest thing for a person was not being defeated by an opponent, but being deceived by the person they trusted the most.
Seeing that I didn’t speak, he added, “If you need anything, you can tell
me!”
I silently shook my head. After finishing the IV drip, he insisted on taking me home. I had no choice but to let him take me directly to my daughter’s kindergarten. He didn’t ask any more questions. When we arrived at the kindergarten, I asked him to leave first.

He repeatedly confirmed that I was okay before he drove away.
After picking up his daughter, he didn’t expect Oswald’s car to also arrive at the kindergarten. Joy, full of excitement, leaped into his arms, asking him to hold her. When he lifted his daughter high up, her excited screams accompanied by her bell–like laughter attracted the attention of many parents.
Performed the part of a happy family to the fullest.
He said his mom had already prepared dinner and asked us to go back to eat. I didn’t want to go, especially not to face Lelia, but seeing Joy’s joyful expression, already clamoring to go to grandma’s house, I didn’t want to disappoint her. After all, those people were her relatives too. I didn’t even know how much longer such times could last.
On the car, Orlando Floris called me. I glanced at Oswald who was driving ahead and picked up the phone. He told me that the woman who came to the company to look for Oswald that day was named Carrie Dodson, a close female friend of a bank president. This woman had some background.
“Alright, I got it!” I didn’t let him say more and hung up the phone.
Oswald was very sensitive. As soon as I hung up the phone, he casually asked me whose call it was.

“I found a pair of shoes that your mom would like, but they didn’t have her size at that time. They ordered a pair for her, and now they’ve arrived!” I casually mentioned.
“Then let’s go get it! It’s a good time to go to mom’s now!” He stared at my face through the rearview mirror.
I glanced at him, saying impassively, “Some other day! It’s not on the way!”
“Where? It’s just a step on the gas, consider it done!” He seemed very committed, but I knew deep down he just wanted to verify it.
“The Platypus Shoes on Central Avenue!” I replied.
He continued to scrutinize my face, then really changed direction at the intersection.
I clenched my fist tightly, cursing in my heart, “Damn it! Scum, I’m giving you a chance today.”
The car sped all the way and quickly arrived at the Shoe City. He parked the car and looked at me, “I’ll go with you!”
I hummed lightly, it seemed he didn’t believe me at all, wanting to make me embarrassed.
