SUPER MOMMY AND HER TRIPLETS - Season 4 Episode 86
Sloan frowned in response. This is a critical moment for the Fletcher family. I can’t afford to let anyone have leverage over us.
Scarlett had already signed the bone marrow donation form, and Sloan knew it was a binding contract in the eyes of the law. If the Fletcher family were to go against the law, others would make fun of the family.
After remaining silent for a while, Sloan uttered flatly, “I’ll seek advice from the professionals. Let’s see if donating your bone marrow is going to harm your health. If it does, you shouldn’t donate. On the other hand, if it doesn’t, you ought to endure it.”
Scarlett cast Sloan a flabbergasted look and stammered, “D-Dad? Before this, you were the first to object to the idea of me donating my bone marrow. Why have you suddenly changed your mind?”
Sloan shoved her aside and replied solemnly, “What else am I supposed to do? You’ve already signed the document, haven’t you? Now, the Fletcher family is the talk of the town, and I’m about to succeed. I can’t possibly let you ruin the family’s reputation at such a pivotal point.”
With tears in her eyes, Scarlett looked at Sloan pitifully and choked out, “Are power and influence really that important? Are they more important than your daughter’s life? I—”
Tamara noticed Sloan’s expression turning grim, so she quickly tugged at Scarlett’s arm and shook her head. “Lettie, listen to your father, okay? If the doctors say you’re healthy enough to donate your bone marrow, we’ll just go ahead with it.”

“Mom? I…” Seeing that one of her parents was prioritizing power and influence while the other was protecting their son, Scarlett was devastated. She pushed Tamara aside violently and dashed out of the room.
Watching her leave, Tamara couldn’t help but sigh. “This time around, we’ve truly broken her heart. However, I didn’t have a choice. I couldn’t just watch Rai die.”
With a grim expression, Sloan ordered, “Bring her back to Dellmoor and discipline her. Since Justin has already married another woman, the Fletcher family shouldn’t cling to him. We’ve already been humiliated enough. Tell her not to continue pestering Justin lest she ruin the Fletcher family’s reputation further.”
Tamara had always been afraid of her husband. Upon hearing such stern words from him, she quickly answered, “Okay, understood. Once Rai gets better, I’ll bring Lettie back to Dellmoor and discipline her.”
At Mount Willow Cemetery in the suburbs, Micah was walking up a flight of stairs under the drizzling sky.
The empty cemetery was extraordinarily quiet, so he could only hear the crisp sound of raindrops hitting the floor.
After walking up dozens of steps, Micah slowly stopped in front of a tombstone.
It was a blank tombstone. Without any wording or a photo of the deceased, the black tombstone looked rather depressing.

While staring at the blank tombstone, Micah’s eyes turned watery, and he started crying moments later. Is this because of the familial bond I have with my son? I’ve never seen him, but I can feel the connection, especially when I see his tombstone. I can feel my heart aching tremendously. I’ve always been heartless and brutal because that’s who I need to be so I can properly manage a huge underground organization.
Globally, everyone feared him. He was known as a strong man with no desires or weaknesses.
That day, however, he felt utterly hopeless and sad.
In the face of his child’s tombstone, he could only cry helplessly, allowing the pain to spread to his limbs and bones.
At the end of the day, he was still just an ordinary man.
Just like all the fathers in the world, he longed for the sight of his child’s innocent smile.
Needless to say, that was nothing but a pipe dream now. All he had left was an icy tombstone.
Before this, he didn’t even know he had a son.
Indeed, it was a truly terrible and heartbreaking state of affairs.
As if every bit of strength had been drained from him, Micah slowly squatted down and ran his slender fingers across the tombstone. His pain was evident in his movement.
“I love your mother dearly, and she’s the only woman that matters in my life. I gave her all the emotions I was capable of. Unfortunately, the world isn’t as perfect as we think it is. Fate has brought too much pain into our lives, and we ended up hating each other to the bones. I’ve never seen you, and your mommy never told me about your existence. In your eyes, I must be a bad and irresponsible father. Yet, we share a bond. I guess my love for you is endless as well. My son, the world is a dark and scary place. You’re as pure and innocent as snow, so you shouldn’t be corrupted by this nasty place. What’s heaven like? I bet it’s a beautiful place. Perhaps that’s where you truly belong. I’ll guard you and protect you from hell. If you miss me, just look up at the stars in the sky. I will definitely be the biggest and brightest star you see up there. Fate was harsh to us. Hopefully, we’ll get to see each other again in our next lives. All right. I shall stop now. You’re still too young, so there are a lot of things you don’t understand. Sleep tight, little one. Given the chance, I’ll bring your mommy here to visit you often.”
Micah slowly retracted his hand and leaned toward the tombstone to plant a kiss. It was as if he was kissing his son’s forehead. “Good night, my son.”
