Maxton quickly covered his mouth, but it was too late.

“What are you two muttering to each other there for?” Bailey’s voice rang out from behind them. “Didn’t someone press the doorbell? Why are you two standing there? Hurry up and open the door.”

Zayron slapped his head and groaned. Well, don’t say I didn’t try, Jerk Dad. You were the one who came knocking on death’s door. No one else can help you.

As Zayron opened the door, Bailey’s line of sight went past the boys’ heads and landed on the person standing outside of the door.

She didn’t recognize who he was and only thought he looked familiar. “You…”

Simon rubbed his nose and smiled. Then, as he was being stared at by multiple people intensely, he steeled himself and stepped into the living room. “Um, can I come in?”

The mother and sons continued staring at him silently.

Simon coughed twice and awkwardly patted Maxton’s head. “Hey, Max. Why didn’t you greet me?”

This idiot! Maxton couldn’t help but roll his eyes. Given Bay’s attitude, I don’t think she recognizes him yet. I can’t believe this guy actually came here to introduce himself. Well, it’s his fault if he’s beaten, crippled, or even flayed!

“It’s you.” Bailey finally realized who Simon was and immediately turned to Hado. “There’s a pile of trash standing there. You can have him as dog food.”

Hado barked, stood up, and pounced on Simon.

“Oh sh*t!” Zayron and Maxton promptly dodged to the side.

They didn’t expect Bailey to be that violent by telling the dog to bite Simon immediately.

Before Simon realized what was even going on, he was tackled to the ground by Hado.

Isn’t there a saying that goes, the hounds will be unleashed after the door’s closed? In my case, they didn’t even let me in. Godd*mmit. I’m the son of the Luther family. Why am I lying on the ground wrestling with a dog? If this news gets out, how am I supposed to meet other people again? This woman really is evil. She’s so terrifying that a dog is afraid of her and willing to do as she asks.

“Hey, buddy! Show me some mercy and don’t bite me down there! Godd*mmit! No, don’t do it. I have yet to sleep with a woman! If you bite me there, I’m done for!” he shouted frantically at the dog.

What the hell is he saying? Bailey crossed her arms and stared at Simon, who was being licked and bitten by Hado, coldly. “I can’t believe you came here by yourself before I even went to find you. Are you that confident I won’t cripple you in some way?”

Then she turned to Hado again. “You’re a male, and he’s a male, too. Stop playing around and bite off his third leg. Your mission will then be completed.”

Simon’s expression changed as he attempted to fight back. However, the dog was too strong as it stood with four of its legs on him. Even if he were in his prime physically, he still wouldn’t be able to escape.

As he glanced at the dog licking at him, waves of disgust washed over him, and he panicked.

The dog was quite smart as it could understand human speech. While it couldn’t find Simon’s third leg, the woman at the door knew.

If she told the dog where it should be looking for, then Simon’s manhood would be in grave danger.

He thought that having his manhood ripped away by a dog was a bitter and unfair punishment.

She really is a ruthless woman! Sweat was dripping down his forehead. What’s so bad about what I did, anyway? Sure, I failed to control myself and caused her trouble, but is that really… Okay, fine, I admit, I’m the culprit, but it’s not like it was terrible for her! The way I see it, she’s lucky to have a pair of healthy and intelligent children!

“Ms. Jefferson, please, there’s still room to talk things through. I-I’ll give you anything you want. What do you say?”

As Simon spoke, Hado turned its head back to look at its owner.

It couldn’t find its target’s third leg.

Bailey shot a cold glance at it before turning to Zayron. “If I cripple him today, will you be angry at me?”

The boy promptly shook his head. Then he thought for a while and nodded. “If you cripple my daddy, I won’t be able to be an elder brother in the future.”

Without hesitation, Bailey kicked him. “Get out of here.”

Inside the study, Simon, looking disheveled, was sitting on the couch as he stared at the woman approaching him fearfully.

He was scared, really scared.

There was something evil about the woman that could not be subdued.

Bailey walked over to the coffee table and slammed the cup in her hand down on the table.

It shocked Simon so much that he leaped up and looked at her alertly like a frightened bird. In a trembling voice, he asked, “I-It wasn’t m-my intention to do it that night. I-I have no memory of what happened. A-Are you sure I-I slept with you?”

Suppressing the raging fire in her heart, Bailey walked over to the laptop on the desk and launched a chatting app to pull out the paternity test. “This is the original document. You can ask Justin to check if it’s real or not. Every bit of data inside has been arranged in a tidy, obvious manner. If there’s anything there that’s modified, he’ll be able to tell immediately.”

Simon didn’t take it.

He had been staring at the test for a few days, and in the end, he couldn’t detect anything wrong with it. At that moment, just looking at it made his head hurt. “How do you know the data on that test result isn’t tampered with?”

How do I know? A sneer was visible on Bailey’s face. That’s because I’m a famous international— never mind. Telling him won’t do a thing.

“I’ll say it again. There’s nothing wrong with this paternity test result. Every single data on this document is arranged in a tidy manner, and everything is linked to each other. There’s no way it can be tampered with without appearing odd to anyone who examined it thoroughly. Susan and Zayron are both your children. While I also don’t want to accept this as reality, it’s the truth. There is no hope that it can be anything else.”

The reason she was so certain Simon was Zayron’s biological father was that she had researched the result thoroughly. There were no traces of the report being tampered with.

Simon slumped back to the couch, looking pale.

On the way there, he had hoped that perhaps what she had said back then was false, that he didn’t actually sleep with her and impregnated her.

However, at that moment, reality gave him a wake-up slap, which was very painful.

“You seem to have taken quite a huge blow, Mr. Simon. What, is it so bad that Zayron and Susan are your children? Can you really not accept it?”

Bailey sounded cold and intimidating, like a blade that had been sealed in ice at absolute zero for thousands of years.

She was fine with it, but she wasn’t willing to see her children get hurt. This idiot is their father. Why does he look like the end of the world is coming?
