After school, Serina came to Ainsley, only to find that Ainsley had been distracted.

“Ainsley, what’s wrong?” In front of Serina, Ainsley had always been composed no matter what

happened.

“Nothing serious,” Ainsley smiled.

“Are you lying? Is it because of the discussion on the forum? I don’t know who has posted the news on it.

Ainsley, did the school leaders give you pressure?” Serina asked with concern.

She also heard quite a few things at the office.

“Nothing can be hidden from you. The school leaders did not give me pressure. Kaitlin invited me to her

birthday banquet, and Mollie will also be there.”

Serina frowned. “She invited you to her birthday banquet? It’s obviously her trick. Ainsley, don’t go. If you

want to see Mollie, I will ask my brother to help you.”

Serina was proud. She thought that Manuel was omnipotent.

“No need. I have decided to go. I want to see Mollie not only for the competition.” Ainsley refused Serina,

As soon as she left the consulting room, she called Manuel and asked emotionally, “Manuel, have we

received an invitation from the Baldry family?”

“What invitation?” Manuel was a bit hesitant.

“It’s an invitation to Kaitlin’s birthday banquet. Have you received it?”

Serina’s tone was full of anticipation. However, Manuel did not receive any invitations.

Just as he was about to speak, his assistant knocked on the door and handed him an invitation. He

opened it and saw that it was from the Baldry family. “Yes. It was just sent to me.”

invitation. I want to attend it!”

“Why did you suddenly want to attend Kaitlin’s birthday banquet? Didn’t you dislike her?”

“That’s right! I don’t like her! She sent Ainsley an invitation today, and it is abnormal! Kaitlin did

any good intentions, so I want to go there and protect Ainsley.” Serina’s tone was angry.

“Ainsley agreed to go?” Manuel asked softly.

“Yes, so I want to go, too!”

It was almost time to get off. Ainsley was packing up her things when she received a call from Raymond.

She guessed that it was about Mollie, and it was as she expected.

“Ms. Easton, the school board has learned about the news in the forum and intends to make full use

of it. Are there any problems? Professor Wade has told me that you haven’t made sure whether Mollie

will come, but I think that it is great if you can make it.”

Ainsley thought for a moment and said, “Mr. Ford, I will try my best.”

“Alright, don’t feel too pressured.”

After hanging up the phone, Ainsley held the invitation and was lost in deep thought. Kaitlin’s low-level

tricks were obvious.

Ainsley checked Mollie’s schedule once again and found that she would be going to Los Angeles in a

week. Mollie was quite busy, which meant that tomorrow’s banquet was Ainsley’s last chance.

The villa of the Baldry family was magnificent. Ainsley wore a dress and arrived at the entrance. Cason,

who was receiving guests, was stunned when he saw her.

Kaliyah took the gifts from Ainsley’s hand. “Ms. Easton, welcome. Kaitlin is preparing upstairs.

Come in and have a seat.”

Ainsley entered the house and found that many people had come. Kaliyah was well prepared, and the

banquet was not inferior to those Ainsley had organized before.

The guests were all related to the Baldry family. Some of them knew Ainsley, and she attracted much

attention as soon as she entered.

She did not pay attention to their gazes or discussions. After looking around, she didn’t find Mollie. There

were still more than ten minutes before the banquet, and it seemed that Mollie had not arrived yet. The

guests began to talk to each other.

Ainsley stood alone by the side. Lindsay noticed her and immediately walked over.

“I thought you wouldn’t come. Be reasonable today, or don’t blame me for being impolite!” Lindsay said

Ainsley knew no one here. After Lindsay left, Kaliyah walked toward Ainsley. “Ms. Easton, is the banquet

okay?”

Kaliyah had arranged it painstakingly. The pastries were made by the best chef she invited, and the wine

and flowers in the hall were also selected carefully.

“Don’t tell me you just want to say this.” Ainsley ignored Kaliyah’s hypocrisy. Kaliyah was delicate and

considerate on the surface, but no one knew what tricks she was playing secretly.

Kaliyah smiled, “Ms. Easton, I just feel that you have worked hard in the past. It took a lot of effort to hold

a banquet. Now, you don’t have to do it anymore.”

“It was your idea to invite me to the banquet with Mollie’s arrival, right?” A strange smile appeared on Ainsley’s face.

Kaliyah looked at Ainsley innocently. “Ms. Easton, it was Kaitlin’s idea, and I didn’t know about it.

Actually, I have always wanted to invite you, but I was not sure if you would come. I didn’t expect

Kaitlin to make it.”

“Ms. Packer, go entertain the others. I want to be alone for a while.”

Kaliyah’s expression turned cold and she left quickly.

Ainsley looked around the hall. A large curtain was hung in the middle, and it should be used to play

photos or videos about Kaitlin.

Other than the guests invited by the Baldry family, there were also many reporters taking photos.

Everyone wore gorgeous dresses, afraid that they would be out of the limelight.

All the guests were almost there, except Mollie.

Just as Ainsley lowered her head to think, there were noises from outside, and then a girl wearing a pink

It was Serina!

And the man behind her was Manuel!

“Why are you here?” Ainsley raised her hand to support Serina, and her expression eased a little.

“I brought Manuel here. The Baldry family has sent us an invitation. Since you’re here, we should
