The police made everything under control very quickly, and it returned to normal not long after in the club.

Because there were a lot of witnesses, and someone had recorded all that happened by a camera, Ainsley and Lainey were only brought to make a statement and negotiate compensation for the loss of the club owner in the police station before they were released.

When Ainsley and Lainey came out of the police station, they saw Roman’s car parked right at the entrance of the police station. Seeing them coming out, Roman rolled down the car window and waved at them. “Ainsley and Lainey, hurry up to get in the car, please!”

Ainsley could figure out the delicate facial features of the man in the back seat through the window that was rolled down. She hesitated for a moment, but the next second, Lainey had already pulled her hand and ran to the car.

“Great, I was just worried about what to do if I couldn’t call a taxi because it was too late!”

Lainey got into the passenger seat next to the driver quickly by a move and left Ainsley behind.

Ainsley opened the door of the back seat. The man’s slender legs ran into her eyes. He looked smart. and delicate in his expensive wrinkle-free suit. Ainsley got a faster heartbeat.

Different from last time, Roman played a lot of club songs in the car now. Lainey shook her head. with the music in the front seat. It made everyone in the car more relaxed.

Ainsley turned around to look at the elegant man beside her and thanked him, “Mr. Gage, thank you for helping us call the police today.”

Manuel was indifferent. He looked at Ainsley and put on a faint smile. “I thought your me for not helping you out.”

Ainsley had seen it through. Although Manuel said that he wanted to be friends with her, he was still among the upper class. Seeing what happened today, as the young master of the Gage family, Manuel could never stand up for an ordinary girl like her. Manuel found Ainsley so calm and somehow felt disappointed.

agreeing with it. After all, Roman’s cooking skills were the best ones that she had ever seen.

Manuel in the back seat also nodded. “Okay.”

Now, they were waiting for Ainsley’s answer.

Ainsley rarely stayed up late. But after running into such an accident overnight, she could not fall asleep now. So Ainsley nodded.

It was summer now, and the sea breeze at night was very comfortable. They got out of the car and found a good place on the beach to set up a barbecue grill.

Lainey even took out fireworks in Roman’s trunk. She was so excited that she ran happily on the beach while playing with fireworks in her hands. Roman was roasting meat on the side, leaving Ainsley and Manuel sitting on the side alone. Ainsley and Manuel had no work.

Ainsley curled her legs and sat on the beach. Looking at the dazzling fireworks in Lainey’s hands, she could not help but smile. It had been a long time since she had enjoyed such a sweet time.

The sea breeze blew her hair, and some hair was sticking to her mouth.

Ainsley was to fix her hair behind her ear, but suddenly someone moved before she started. Someone gathered her hair and took out a rubber band from somewhere. Then he carefully pulled her hair to the back of her head and gently tied it up.

He occasionally touched the back of her fair neck with his warm palm.
