With that thought in mind, Ariel got up quietly and walked to the window. She looked out for a moment before she nimbly jumped out of the window and disappeared into darkness.

David did not want anyone to bother him or Rita, so most of the maids were asked to stay in another house next to David’s villa. Only a handful of people like Ariel and Stuart were allowed to live in the same villa with David and Rita. However, even though they lived in the same villa, Ariel’s room was located far from David and Rita’s.

The whole villa was equipped with cameras except the maids’ private quarters. Fortunately, Ariel’s room was not under the coverage of these cameras. Therefore, she managed to work there during the day and got out at night during this time.

Ariel was investigating something in secret.

Meanwhile, at the Starry Night Entertainment Club.

The dazzling dancing floor was full of lustful women, each sexier than the other. As a result, Ray’s obtrusive presence there attracted all the women’s attention around him.

“Oh, my God, please, please, Ray! Ever since you went abroad for studies, you rarely made public appearances anymore. Brook could not help but feel strained as he began to hide away from Ray’s eyes and murmured, “Ray, this is what our company wants. You know I’m nothing but a humble agent…”

“Stop it! If you bring this up again, I promise I will not think twice about firing you!” Leaving Brook speechless, Ray quickly stood up and walked towards the gate of the hall.

Just before Ray could leave the hall, a familiar voice reached his ears. “Ray!” shouted Dina.

Ray hid his face under his hat and tried to get out of there as he did not want to be seen with Dina. However, her thick smell of perfume and sexually appealing voice kept getting closer and closer to him. “Ray, you… Why are you trying to hide from me?” asked Dina.

Dina had never expected that Ray would show up in this club. However, within just a few seconds, Dina had finished weighing the pros and cons. So, she quickly let go of everything that had happened before and came to face Ray.
Dina was no longer the loud and arrogant drama queen she was before. Ever since she’d become a prostitute in this club, she’d learned what compromise meant for her.

All the men Dina had once served just coveted her beauty and all they could provide for her was nothing but some money. They could not do anything to help with Dina’s career as a star.

Therefore, Dina regarded Ray as her last life-saving hope at this moment. Dina would do anything to improve her image to the public, even if it meant letting go of her own dignity.

“Take your hands off me!”

Ray’s face darkened and he could not help but feel disgusted as Dina tried to rub her breasts against his arm.

“Ray, are you still mad at me for what I did the last time?” Dina pretended to show an aggrieved expression as her eyes welled up with tears and it seemed as though they would fall down at any moment.

Ray, however, felt even more resentful and the coldness in his eyes started to frighten Dina. “I will say this one the last time. Let go of me!” He tried his best to keep his anger at bay.

“Fine, fine… Ray, please do not be angry.” Dina let go of Ray’s arm quickly and stood by his side quietly.

In truth, Dina had achieved what she had set out to do. Otherwise, she would never have let go of Ray so easily. Dina noticed the flashing lights from the corner of her eyes and quickly understood why Ray wanted to get out of here.

Dina knew that if news about Ray and her came out, she was sure to be ridiculed by the masses. However, as long as it would help to improve her publicity, Dina didn’t care about the netizen’s insults. If people still enjoyed insulting her, it meant that she was still in the minds of the masses.

Besides, Dina did not have the luxury of wasting too much time here as she still had a guest waiting for her tonight.

Ray rubbed his arm vigorously where Dina had touched him and then turned to leave. However, in his hurry, he accidentally bumped into another woman in the corner.

As the woman staggered back, lowering her head, her long black hair covered her face. As a result, Ray was only able to see her skimpily dressed body.

The woman’s revealing suit left very little for the imagination and she seemed to have been carrying a variety of cocktails on a tray before Ray had bumped into her. Without much deliberation, Ray concluded that she was a waitress in the club.

‘With that suit, this woman cannot be anything better than Dina!’ Ray sneered in his mind.

As Ray reduced the woman and Dina to the same kind of people, his stern, handsome face darkened even more.

“Hey, watch where you are going!” Ray yelled at the woman as he tried to wipe away the mess from his clothes without looking at her even once.

Ariel slowly raised her head and smelt a strong perfume that forced her eyebrows to furrow. She lowered her head to apologize and then bent down to clean up the mess on the floor.

Ray was not angry at her anymore but he arrogantly pulled out a bank card from his pocket and threw it in front of Ariel.

“This is 50, 000 as compensation for your wine and the code is a hundred for one night!” Ray said with an emotionless voice.

Ariel was startled as she looked at the handsome man in front of her with disbelief. A hint of indifference flashed through her eyes as she answered in a cold voice, “Mister, have some respect, please!”

“I said, the code is a hundred for one night!” Ray repeated himself again.

“Ah!” As soon as he finished his words, a frightened scream came out of his mouth. Ariel struck Ray down to the ground with a swift roundhouse kick.

“You… Are you crazy?”

Ray rubbed his chest with painful expression on his face and stared back at Ariel in anger and shock.

“Is it too much to ask for people to treat others with respect? How can you expect me to show you respect after you just insulted me like that?” The woman’s cold voice and proud expression startled Ray for a moment and he realized that he had mistaken her for a simple waitress.

Ray looked at Ariel helplessly and knitted his eyebrows as he said again, “I was just telling you that the password of this bank card is one, zero, zero, four, one, nine!”

“What?” Ariel could not figure out what he was trying to say as her sharp eyes started to look puzzled.

‘So… This is the way to play in Z country?’ Ariel wondered.

“Apologize to me now!” Ray demanded. When he noticed the guilt in Ariel’s expression, Ray could not help displaying a smug look on his face.

Having realized that it was wrong of her to assault him, Ariel thought about what she was here to do and decided that it would be in her best interest not to drag this out with Ray anymore. With eyes as cold as ice, she threw Ray a glance and picked up the bank card and tray from the floor before she stood up to leave.
