“Oh?” Ke Zheng’s eyes lit up when he heard Chen Dong, and he asked with slight surprise. “Could it be that your Chen Clan possesses a young genius that satisfies this condition?”

“Elder Ke, you must be joking. Besides Wei, how could our Chen Clan possess such an outstanding young genius?” Chen Dong laughed bitterly. “He’s a young brother I became acquainted with a few days ago, and he possesses an extraordinary strength at his young age… I’m not afraid to incur Elder Ke’s ridicule, but not a single person in our Chen Clan was a match for that young brother.”

“Chen Wei!” An aged voice sounded out abruptly as the old man who sat at the head vanished, and when he appeared once more, he was already at the side of the unconscious young man, the Chen Clan’s Eldest Young Master, Chen Wei.

After he inspected Chen Wei’s injuries and found that it wasn’t serious, the old man heaved a sigh of relief. After he fed Chen Wei a healing medicinal pill and reconnected Chen Wei’s arm, he stood up and looked at the nearby violet clothed young man.

The violet clothed young man was naturally Duan Ling Tian.

“Patriarch Chen, excuse me, Ye Ting, and my daughter for disturbing you.” Another voice sounded out as the Ye Clan’s Patriarch, Ye Ting, brought his daughter Ye Xuan along and entered.

“You injured Chen Wei?” The muddy eyes of the old man, Ke Zheng, stared fixedly at Duan Ling Tian as he spoke with a slightly low voice.

“Yes.” Duan Ling Tian nodded, and then he carefully sized up the old man before him.

When he’d just arrived at the Chen Clan Audience Hall earlier, he’d noticed the old man that sat at the head seat, and it was extremely easy for him to guess the old man’s identity.

“Exactly.” Ke Zheng nodded, and then he glanced at Chen Wei that lay on the ground and asked with a low voice. “How did this useless disciple of mine offend you to the point of making you strike so ruthlessly?”

“Ruthlessly?” Duan Ling Tian started laughing. “Elder Ke, let’s be straightforward… Do you really think I’ve struck your disciple ruthlessly?

Ke Zhen couldn’t help but be speechless when he heard this.

Needless to say, even though he said that the violet clothed young man had struck ruthlessly, he didn’t think so in his heart.

“Bastard!” Finally, Chen Dong walked over and glared angrily at Chen An as he asked with a shout. “Answer truthfully, what absurd thing have you done this time?!”

Ye Ting took a deep breath and didn’t conceal anything as he slowly spoke of the matter of Chen An bringing Chen Wei along into the Ye Clan Estate and injuring the numerous Ye Clan disciples.

“Besides that, I think Eldest Young Master Chen might have been deceived by Second Young Master Chen…” Ye Ting had just spoken up to here when he was interrupted by Chen An. “Ye Ting, don’t sling mud at me!”

“Oh.” Suddenly, a voice sounded out, and it was the unconscious Chen Wei that had opened his eyes and spoke in a daze. “Where is this?”

“Since Eldest Young Master Chen has awoken, Patriarch Ye, you don’t have to waste your breath.” Duan Ling Tian smiled, and then he glanced at Chen An. “What do you think? Second Young Master Chen?”

Chen An’s face sank slightly as he took a deep breath and hurriedly looked at Chen Wei.

“You wouldn’t be thinking of using a voice transmission to ask your brother to help lie for you, right?” After he noticed Chen An’s actions, Duan Ling Tian took a step forward and grabbed Chen An up before making him spin a few rounds like a top, causing Chen An to become completely dazed and incapable of sending a voice transmission.

“Wei!”

“Chen Wei!” Chen Dong and Ke Zheng didn’t stop Duan Ling Tian as they strode out to support Chen Wei up from both sides, and their faces were covered with worry.

“Father, Master.” After Chen Wei sobered up, he asked with a perplexed expression. “How did I come here? I… It’s you!
