On the private plane, Maggie decided to keep one of the four Pills of Longevity that Alex had given her for herself.

“Maggie, has Mr. Jefferson developed the Pill of Longevity?” Richard asked with great enthusiasm as he sat up straight.

Maggie quickly went to help Richard up and said, “Yeah, he’s done it, grandpa. Mr. Jefferson was generous enough to give us three Pills of Longevity. He also said that one is enough to cure your disease and that it’ll also increase your life expectancy by ten years.”

“Really? Give it to me, quick!” Richard said.

Maggie nodded, then took out the bottle and gave it to Richard.

Richard accepted and opened it, and was immediately attracted by the strong medical fragrance of the Pill of Longevity.

He could hardly wait. He was about to pop one pill into his mouth when Maggie stopped him at once, “Grandpa, Mr. Jefferson said that the Pill of Longevity is too strong and your body won’t be able to withstand the medicinal properties of one full pill. You can only take half a pill and then the other half can only be taken after a month.”

“Okay, okay, I’ll listen to Mr. Jefferson’s instruction,” Richard smiled and had Maggie help him break the

Remembering that amazing moment when Tyrael took the pill, Maggie said, “Dr. Skyworth took half a pill as well, and the medicine took effect in just a few seconds. And in a few minutes, his recurring disease was completely healed. It was simply a miracle.”

“Really?” Richard grew so excited that his speech slurred. “If it’s really that amazing… Quick! Cut it in half and give it to me now!”

The servant at his side immediately brought him a glass of water. Louis and Deckard had also rushed over.

“Maggie, did Mr. Jefferson really cook up a pill?” Deckard asked as soon as he entered.

“Yeah,” Maggie replied as she gave half of the Pill of Longevity to Richard.

Richard accepted the pill and threw it into his mouth, where it melted straight away without the help of

water.

“Have some water, sir.” The servant placed a glass of water in front of Richard.

“It’s okay. It’s already melted,” Richard said with a wave of his hand and quietly waited for the pill to take effect.

Deckard and Louis looked at Richard in anticipation of the miracle.
