- Season 1 Episode 69 - Seeking Her Forgiveness
Seeing that familiar car parked in front of the Villa again, Lucas’s eyes were as dark as the night. As he sat inside his car, his eyes were glued to that car, patiently waiting, and impatiently struggling to reign in his emotions.
Some minutes later, the Villa’s gates opened. Four people came out of it; Heidi and the other two ladies, then that man.
Lucas left his car, slamming the door shut. Before Steve could hold the door open for Heidi, he reached their sides, startling everyone.
“Heidi, we need to talk.” Ignoring the shocks registered on their faces, he fixed his piercing gaze on Heidi.
Heidi recovered from the shock, feeling a headache coming. When she remembered what transpired between them a while ago, her eyes dimmed. ” Mr. Harrison, what do you want from me?”
“Come with me.”
“To do what?”
“Just come with me.” Lucas’s voice was eerily low, his eyes throwing daggers at the man beside her.
Steve instantly grasped what was going on. He was no stranger to these kinds of situations. Stepping forward, he held Heidi’s shoulder protectively, pulling her to his side. “She’s not coming.”
“If I were you, I’d take my filthy hands off her.” Lucas’s eyes narrowed, his dangerous tone making the other girls shudder.
Kate and Isla looked at each other, flabbergasted.
“What the heck is going on?” Kate whispered.
“I don’t know why, but I have this ominous feeling. Is Mr. Anderson really serious about Ms. Olsen?” Isla whispered back.
The men’s eyes were like laser beams, piercing through each other. Heidi stood between them, looking wary and confused.
“This is my last order. Take your hands off her-”
Lucas hadn’t finished speaking. A car drove past then pulled over ahead of them.
Sounds of high heels echoed as a girl left that car and hurried in their direction.
She threw herself into Lucas’s arms, embracing him desperately. “Oh, I had to look twice before knowing it was you. The driver almost drove past. Honey, I miss you so much. I can’t handle the hectic preparations of our engagement alone, so I left it to the servants and came to spend some time with you.”

Tracy had already answered most of the questions he had in mind. Lucas pulled away, staring at her. “When did you arrive?”
“I arrived a while ago. Amanda told me that you decided to stay here, and I couldn’t bear the pain of separation. I took the driver’s contact from Amanda, and he told me you’re in Crescent Avenue.”
When she was done explaining, Tracy finally turned around, sensing that there were other people.
Seeing Heidi, her eyes widened a bit, her jaws clenched involuntarily, before she quickly collected herself.
Putting on a wide smile, she said sweetly, “Oh, Heidi, you’re also here. I didn’t know you had some friends in GreyHills. Is this the original place you came from? What a coincidence. Lucas is your ex-husband, but you happen to be living in the same neighborhood as him.”
The meaning behind Tracy’s words was simple; Heidi was chasing after Lucas, even resorting to stalking him.
Heidi rolled her eyes. “Guys, let’s get out of here. The atmosphere stinks of hypocrisy.”
“Who are you calling a hypocrite?” Tracy gritted her teeth, cursing Heidi in her mind. “I was only stating the facts, I couldn’t hide my shock of seeing you here. Weren’t you in Phoenix City before?”
Then she looked at Lucas and batted her lashes innocently. “Honey, Heidi doesn’t want to forgive me yet. She keeps labeling me with bad names. What should I do to make her stop hating me?”
“You didn’t offend her, why seek her forgiveness.” Lucas threw Heidi a dark look.
Heidi glowered at him. Seeing the man holding Tracy like a doll, her mind wired back to what happened in the morning.
Controlling the pent-up anger, Heidi opened the car’s door. “Steve, Kate, Isla, let’s get out of here. It’s really suffocating.”
Steve and the others didn’t expect this sudden drama. Isla sighed, and Kate looked exasperated.
They all entered the car and left.
As that car drove away, Tracy’s expression became bitter, seeing Lucas’s eyes fixed on the back of the car.
If Heidi hadn’t escaped from those kidnappers, all these wouldn’t have opened. That wretched girl should have been buried six feet deep into the ground by now.
