Qiao Lian widened her eyes and looked at him confusedly.

Her wronged expression only irritated him even more!

He narrowed his eyes and stared deeply into hers.

Qiao Lian leaned against the wall and looked at the wide open door to the study. She then heard him walking downstairs and heading outside.

Everything that he had done had felt like a slap to her face.

She bit her lip, hurriedly calmed herself down and ran downstairs as well.

Noticing Xia Yehua’s anxious gaze, Qiao Lian squeezed out a smile and said, “Mom, it’s all right. I’ve already hashed things out with him, so we’ll be heading home first. Hahaha…”

Once she finished speaking, she chased after him and headed outside. However, Shen Liangchuan’s car had already driven away.
