The loud thunder continued coming and each time it did, Tanisha clinged more tightly to Princeton.

Her body continued shaking, one will think she’s drenched with cold water .

Princeton was shocked but he stood still…after all these subsides, she’ll explain what it means.

The thunder continued for three minutes and when it stopped, an heavy rain started.

Tanisha came back to her senses and quickly let go of him.

Her eyes met with his own and she met coldness.

She immediately went on her knees. “I’m sorry sir, I was just scared, thunder has always been my weakness and….I always panic and get terrified anytime I hear the sound of it, dad or granny will always give me a tight hug anytime it happens, it’ll always calm me down so I… imagined you as my dad and.. hugged you I’m sorry, I’m so sorry” she rushed.

Princeton stood speechless, looking at her blankly.

He slowly placed down the cat and it walked to Tanisha, she carried it and Princeton went in without saying a word.

“He must be so angry at me, I’m so stupid, what do I do” she said to herself and sat on the ground.

Sweet rested on her chest and slept off.

She quickly stood and made to open the door but she doesn’t even know the passcode.

“What do I do” she thought, her whole body shaking badly.

She’ll surely get sick, she’s so sure of it.

She kept standing by the door till Tammy suddenly appeared.

“Nanny” she said.

Tammy pressed the code and the door opened.

“You can go” she said.

With a bow, Tanisha left the suite and ran all the way back to the slave house but it’s locked already.

“Oh no” she said, hitting the door but the sound of the heavy rain will never let anyone hear it.

The rain continued drenching her and Sweet mercilessly, it kept getting heavier.

She covered Sweet with herself and sat in front of the house, allowing the rain to drench only her.

She almost shivered her heart out and her teeth hit on each other.

“Nana….dad” she muttered weakly and slowly started loosing consciousness.

A minute later, she fell unconsciously on the ground, still holding Sweet so tight.

NEXT MORNING**

Lia made her way to the slave house, specifically to check on Tanisha.

Sierra ran up to her and held her.

“I told you wait for me” she said.

“I just wanted you to run and you did” Lia laughed.

“B*tch” Sierra smirked playfully.

“You really need to meet her, she’s hot and s*xy like Princeton” Lia said.

“I can’t wait” Sierra replied.

“What made you stop crushing on Princeton?” Lia suddenly asking.

“He’s got too many girls crushing on him here, popular guys are not my type” Sierra replied simply.

“Same here” Lia smiled.

They continued the walk to the house and when they got there, Lia couldn’t hide her shock when she saw Tanisha in front of it, lying unconsciously on the ground, wrapping her arms around her cat.

“Tanisha!” She shouted, rushing to her with Sierra.

“Whoa!, She’s pretty” Sierra said.

“I think she slept here, the door is locked from inside” Lia said, looking at it.

“Godmother ordered that the door should be opened at all times, the fact that it was locked from inside only means a slave did it” Sierra replied.

“Let’s attend to her first” Lia said and Sierra heaped Tanisha unto her back.

Lia sprinted away while Sierra followed with Sweet in her arm.

Reina opened the door and stepped out, smiling satisfactorily.

She looked at the padlock in her hand and smirked.

“You deserve it, I just hate her” she muttered and Vignette came out.

They stood facing each other and Vignette came even closer

“You’re worse than I thought, wide hole” she whispered before walking away.

Lia and Sierra rushed past the kitchen on their way to the palace infirmary.

Lady Macbeth stepped out quickly and when she saw Tanisha, she blocked them.

“Out of the way lady Mac, she’s dying” Lia said fast.

“I can treat her” she replied.

“Her life is a joke to you?” Sierra glared.

“I’m good at treating cold trust me, bring her in” lady Macbeth replied confidently.

“I swear I won’t take it easy if anything happens to her” Lia said and took her in quickly.

They entered a room in the building and she was placed on a bed.

“Take off her wet clothes” she ordered and Sierra did that with Lia.

She finished up and rubbed a different one on her face before covering her with a cover clothe.

“Done” she said.

“Thanks” Lia said, looking at Tanisha deeply.

“I just like her the moment I met her” she said.

Macbeth looked at Lia then at Tanisha, she sighed after that.

“But…where did she go last night?, Why wasn’t she in?, Why was she locked out in the rain” Sierra said.

“She’ll tell me when she wakes up” Lia replied.

“We should go see godmother, she ordered everyone to come see her this morning, you don’t wanna be scolded for coming late” Sierra said, dropping Sweet beside Tanisha and Lia stood.

“Lady Macbeth please…. watch over her till she wakes and if she wakes, don’t let her go till I come” she said and Macbeth bowed.

“Yes miss” she said.

Lia looked at Tanisha one more time before leaving with Sierra.

Lady Macbeth continued staring at Tanisha and smiled.

“Is it what I’m thinking?, Or am I just overthinking?” She thought, holding Tanisha’s hand fondly.

PRINCETON’S SUITE**

Mina and Sana refused to go to school, they want to badly see Sweet and they insisted that if Princeton won’t provide it, then no school today.

Tammy has begged and begged but they insisted on seeing the cute cat and the owner.

“It’s so cute and i love it so much, I just want to see it badly” Sana cried.

“Me too, I want to carry it and hug it” Mina cried too.

They both started crying so loud and Princeton had to rush out of his room.

They’re insisting on seeing the cat, they refused to let me bath for them and dress them up” Tammy said and Princeton sighed.

He came out last night some minutes after he went in but couldn’t find Tanisha anymore so he concluded that she left already.

“Girls, I promise to fulfil my promise but you both need to go to school” he said, touching their hairs

“No” they both chorused.

“Mina, Sana..you both don’t trust me?” He said.

“Bring the cat right now, nanny said the owner is living in this palace* Sana said and Tammy quickly slipped into the kitchen.

“What if I promise to get it before you guys come back from school… please..you guys can’t skip school” he practically pleaded.

Sana looked at Mina and they both nodded.

Princeton smiled and kissed them both.

“Tammy they’re ready” he said.

“We never said we’re going to school” Sana said.

“You said you’re gonna get it for is before we come back from school, if we go to school now, we’ll be back after six hours, so in six hours time, we wanna see the cat” Mina said.

“We’ll be in our room” Sana said and went in with Mina.

Princeton sighed and bit his lip in frustration.

“They should just strangle me” he muttered and stood, facing Tammy.

“And why will you tell them she lives in this palace” he said.

“I’m so sorry boss”
she bowed.

He ignored her and went back in.

He sighted the anklet on his bedstand and took it.

Tanisha’s grandma gave it to him. He actually went to visit her before going for the mission yesterday and he can still remember their conversation vividly.

FLASHBACK…. YESTERDAY, TWO HOURS BEFORE THE MISSION**

Princeton brought his car to an halt in front of the house beside the park and came out, looking at the small old house.

He stepped in slowly and almost concluded that no one’s in cos of the silence.

Then he sighted the old granny, sitting on a chair in the small room.

She looks almost lifeless and has tears on her face.

She tilted up when she heard movements.

“Who’s it?” She asked weakly.

Her cheekbones and collarbones are revealing so much.

Princeton kept looking at her without saying anything till she successfully stood.

She walked slowly to him and almost fell but she held herself till she got to him.

“Who are you?” She asked.

“Princeton” he replied .

“Princeton?”

“Yes, from MCF palace ” he replied and she grabbed him.

“My granddaughter!!, What did you guys do to her!!, What has happened to my Tanisha!!, She’s the only one I have, please bring her back or better still, take me to her please..I miss her so much…” She cried loudly.

Princeton slowly removed her skinny hands from his clothes and made her sit though she’s still crying.

“If you continue crying, then I won’t tell you what she told me to say” he said and Nana quickly wiped the tears

“She sent you to me?, My Tanisha said what?, Is she fine?, Is she ok?, Is she getting a fair treatment?” She asked impatiently.

Princeton brought out an envelope and placed it on her hand.

“What’s this?”

“The money she worked for, she told me to give you” he replied.

“She’s working for money?, Meaning she’s doing well right?” She replied.

Princeton stood.

“Take care of yourself…she wants you to do that” he said and started leaving.

“Wait” she said, holding his hand.

He waited and she opened a box on the table, she brought out an anklet.

“It fell from her ankle when she was getting dragged away, can you please give it to her?” She said and he slowly took it.

END OF FLASHBACK**

Princeton kept looking at the anklet till Tammy knocked.

“What’s up?” He asked.

“Godmother sent for you, it’s time to meet with her” she replied.

He dropped the anklet and threw on his clothe.

He stepped out of the room to meet Reina in the living room.

“Good morning master” she smiled, stylishly pulling down her blouse in the front, revealing her b**bs.

“Cover that well, any dog will mistake it for a bone” he said and she quickly covered up.

He badly wants to ask of Tanisha but he kept it in and started leaving.

“What of Tanisha?” Tammy asked.

He walked to Zara’s suite where everyone is waiting already. Landon is on his knees.

Zara is sitting with her back on everyone.

“Heard you got wounded severely yesterday cos of Landon’s mistake” she said, standing eventually.

She faced them all and Landon squinted.

“It’s not the first time I’ll be getting wounded because of him, it’s nothing” Princeton replied.

Zara walked to Landon and raised his chin with a finger.

“You’re like a waste can in here, and that’s why it’s hard for me to let you lead the gang” she said.

“Waste…can?” Landon glared.

“Yes…. incompetent idiot!” Zara shouted.

“I tried my best!” He yelled back.

“You should have listened to Princeton!” Zara yelled back.

“I didn’t want to!, And i can never do that cos I’m two years older!, I’m his senior!” He yelled.

Zara snatched Shay’s gun and pulled the trigger, she placed it on Landon’s head and Landon froze in fear but she took it away and raised it up, shooting on the chandelier instead.

It fell and landed in the middle of the room, everyone went silent.

“If I kill you, I won’t lose cos I have Princeton and Lia who are more profitable” she said flatly.

Landon looked at her eyes that has never held any warmth for him, he sighed slowly.

“I’m sorry” he said and Zara threw the gun back to Shay who caught it.

“You’re exempted from the next mission” she said

“Mother!” Landon said and she glared at him.

“godmother… pardon me please, I really want to go to the next mission” he said gently

“Not allowed, Boris port Saturday… Next batch of drugs is coming Princeton, it must get here safely, waste any hijacker who pops up” she said.

Princeton never talked before walking out

The rest followed then Landon stormed out last.

He sighted a girl member and grabbed her on his way to his suite.

The girl followed her excitedly till they got to his suite.

He took her in and tore away her thin clothes, he widened her legs before zipping down

Throwing away his trousers, he roughly dived into her and the girl pulled him closer.

“Kitchen building” Macbeth said, coming in with a tray of food and juice which she dropped on the stool.

Lady Macbeth” she said surprisingly.

“Lia and Sierra brought you here” Mac smiled.

“Huh?”

“Eat, you must be hungry” Macbeth said, pointing at the food

Sweet moved beside her and she carried it, hugging it tight.

“I’m glad you’re fine, sorry for letting you sleep in the rain” she said and Macbeth smiled, watching her cuteness.

She looked at the food again, stacked with meat.

She quickly picked the fork and started eating the meat, feeding Sweet too.

If there’s anything she loves most after her Nana and late dad, it’s meat..she loves it madly.

She finished the meat within seconds .

“Want more?” Macbeth asked and she nodded slowly.

Macbeth gave her another plate of meat and she drank the juice after finishing that too.

She was given her clothes, it’s all dried now

She put it on and carried sweet.

“Bye lady Mac” she waved and before she could stop her, Tanisha left.

“Oh… Lia told me to stop her” she said, sighing afterwards.

Tanisha walked energetically back to the slave house but stopped when Landon appeared in front of her.

He came closer and smiled naughtily.

“I’ll f*ck you” he whispered and her heart skipped beats.

“Bastard!” Tracy said spitefully and he took his hand from her.

Tracy looked at Tanisha angrily.
