Upon hearing that Qin Chu’s father was here, not only did Qin Chu’s expression change, even Huo Mian couldn’t stay calm anymore. They were both high school students, so how awkward would it be to meet the parents?

Before Qin Chu could say anything, Huo Mian panicked.

“Qin Chu, let me hide first.”

Qin Chu glanced at her. “It’s okay, you didn’t do anything wrong. Why should you be hiding? You can just sit in the cafe. I’ll get someone to prepare dessert for you. You rest first, I’ll go see my dad.”

Then, Qin Chu sent Huo Mian to the cafe and went to the conference room.

Qin Chu knocked on the door. “Dad.”

After Qin Chu went in, he attended the meeting and listened attentively. An hour later, the father and son walked out of the conference room.

“Does your mother know that you came to Yunding Mountain?” Mr. Qin asked his son.

Qin Chu shook his head.

“I heard you brought a classmate here?” Mr. Qin continued to ask.

After a few seconds of silence, Qin Chu decided to tell the truth.

“Dad, that girl is my girlfriend.”

Mr. Qin was not surprised. It was normal for young men and women to have feelings for each other. After all, everyone had their youth.

“Then she must be very outstanding.”

He did not expect his father to say that.

Come to think of it, he knew very well what his son was like. For him to fall in love with a girl, there must be something extraordinary about her.

“Yes, she’s very outstanding.” Qin Chu nodded in agreement.

“I thought you would like a girl like Yishi.”

Song Yishi was indeed pretty, and the two families were close. However, Qin Chu didn’t seem to have any feelings for her, nor did he contact her.
