Huo Mian walked into the courtyard with a troubled look on her face. It was nine o’clock.

Her mother was still knitting a scarf for her and Zhixin.

She bought the yarn herself, which was cheap. Her mother was weaving with her agile fingers.

Soon it would be winter and they could use it.

Huo Mian poured a glass of warm water and walked up to her mother.

“Mom, have some water… take a break.”
