First Woo Ara and Kye Min jun ran to Kim Geon who helped them escape to a village called, Nanbaek.

But while their secret stay in that village, enemies also came to find them there and thus, they left the village and ran from forests to mountains hiding from the assassins who chased after them.

It was during these times, that Ara and Min jun fell in love with each other.
They spent months in the forest and mountains, protecting themselves and running from their enemies but Min jun during these times, had no idea that his best friend Kim Geon had been killed by the assassins at his house.
But Geon wanted to reveal his death to Min jun and also tell them that the enemies are coming for them, so he appeared to him in a dream.

In the dream, Kim Geon came to where Ara and Min jun were hiding.
Both Ara and Min jun were surprised and confused on how he got to know where they hid.

“Geon, how did you get to know where we are hiding?” Min jun asked Geon.
“Do not fear, I came alone,” Geon said.

“Geon, thank you for helping us to Nanbaek but the assassins found out where we were and came after us. We had to run away,” Min jun said.
Geon looked at Ara who wasn’t feeling too well.

“Ara, you look sick.. Have you had any medicines?” Geon asked Ara.
She nodded. “I got some herbs from the bush.. It’s helping a little” she said.

“And you don’t know what’s wrong?” he asked her.
She shook her head. “No”

Geon looked at Min jun with a smile. “She’s carrying your child.”
Min jun and Ara both looked at each other and they felt so happy.
Min jun and Ara hugged each other.

“I can’t wait to carry our baby,” Min jun said to Ara and she smiled.

“I can’t wait too,” she said.

“Just then, both heard noises and when they looked, they saw Geon dead on the floor with an arrow deep in his heart.
The enemies had arrived.

“Geon!” Min jun screamed as he grabbed Geon.
The dream ended and Min jun woke up to see Ara awake and calling onto him.
“Are you okay dear?” she asked him.

He swiftly got up and grabbed Ara’s hand. “Let’s leave here… Now.”
“Wait!” Ara said.

“What is it?” Min jun asked.
“I’m pregnant,” she broke the news.

“I know,” he said and hugged her. “I know… Geon came to my dream and he told me. I think he’s dead too… We have to leave here Ara. We will talk about this when we find a hiding place,” Kye Min jun.

Min jun and Ara ran to escape the enemies, they tried, they almost succeeded but they didn’t make it this time.

They got surrounded by the assassins.

They couldn’t escape anymore.

The assassins jumped down from the trees and so grounded them with arrows and swords.

Min jun held Ara’s hand tightly and looked into her eyes. “Ara, I promise to get you out of here. I promise,” he told her.
“I promise to protect you Min jun. I promise,” she said to him.
“No Ara, I’m going to protect you and our child… Just stay beside me… I’m not going to let anything happen to you,” he said.
“Even if it’s the last strength within me, I’m going to use it to protect you Min jun, I promise,” Ara said to him.

Min jun was going to fight the assassins and protect Ara while Ara was going to use her powers to protect Min jun.

In no time, the assassins began to attack them. Min jun was able to grab a sword from one of the assassins and he cough the assassins with it.
Min jun was not a weak man. He had the strengths which a man should possess but the assassins were too many.

Ara pulled out all her powers to fight the assassins, she did, killing so many of them but because she was sick and pregnant, her powers weren’t so strong anymore.

The pregnancy weakened her strength and power.
Her powers began to weaken as she used them and soon, they were just a little strength left in her.

She got scared.

The assassins were coming more and more.
Min jun looked into her eyes. “Ara, do not fight anymore, run, run through that wood and don’t look back. I will come for you, I promise,” he said to her.

She shook her head as tears rolled down her eyes. “No! I can’t leave you here Min jun.. I can’t leave you. I’m going to fight here and protect you.. I’m not going anywhere,” she said.

“My love you need to run now. They are close… Run now.. I’m not going to die, I still have so much strength inside me to fight all of them I promise you that I’m going to come to you… So Run now please,” he told her.
“I don’t want to..” she said.

“You have to.. Please go now Ara, do this for our child. Please.. For our child and for me,” he said.

Ara’s tears flowed like a fountain.
“Do you promise to come to me?” she asked him.
“I promise,” he said.

“Do you promise Min jun?” she asked again.
“Yes Ara, I promise with my heart,” he said.
“I’ll be waiting for you,” she said to him.
“I’ll be with you in no time,” he said.

Ara ran away through the woods as her eyes were filled with tears.
She didn’t look back.
She ran with the last strength within her.
She could hear sounds of swords and arrows from afar.
She ran as she cried.

She wanted to run back but she couldn’t.
She wanted to believe that Min jun will come to her soon…
She ran, looking for a hideout.

She finally found one, inside a mountain and there, she stayed waiting for
Min jun who never returned.

Min jun couldn’t make it…he fought so well, he killed so many of the enemies but at the end, he got killed as many arrows went through his body and a sword into his heart.

Ara lived inside the mountain, day and night waiting for Min jun but he never returned.

But she kept waiting, believing that he will return but the enemies found her a week later.

She ran to the mountain top and behind it was a deep sea.
The enemies tried to attack her but she jumped into the sea.
Inside the sea while being drowned, she made her last wish.

“We will return, you and I Min jun and in that next life, I’m going to
protect you, I’m going to save you with my last breath”
After Ara made this wish, she died inside the sea, with her new unborn child.

Rockstar Kelly and Jaden were going to visit Romeo at the hospital while Rockstar Lucky, Elvin and Jimin were going to Rocksworld industry for a meeting.

Romeo haven’t woken up yet..
I rushed to Rockstar Kelly.

“Sir, is he going to wake up today?” I asked him.
He placed his hands on my shoulders. “I don’t know Baby. Everyone wishes him to. But I know it’s only a little time and he will wake up,” he said.
“Are you sure sir?” I asked.

“I’m sure Baby,” he said and withdrew his hands.
Jaden came to me. “Don’t worry, once he opens his eyes, I’m going to mention your name to him first.”

They left and I sighed.
“Baby, come have your breakfast,” Kira said to me as she came out from the kitchen.

I turned and smiled to her. “Thank you but I’m not hungry yet.”
“You have to he hungry. You don’t eat so well this days, you’ve been slimming down and I don’t like it, come here,” she said and grabbed my hand.
“No Kira,” I’m serious. I will eat later,” I said but she dragged me into the kitchen.

Mrs Hadley who had returned dropped my plate of food in front of me. “Eat Baby or you are not leaving this kitchen”
“I agree with you Mrs Had,” Ali said.

“Okay fine.. I will eat it,” I said and settled on the seat.
They all watched me pick on the food until I finished it up and drank water.
“Thank you for the food Mrs Had. Thank you Kira, Ali and Maria” I said and got up to leave.

“No, you have to wash the dishes, can you help us with that please?” Mrs Had said.

‘Tch…and I really wanted to go back to my room and stare at Romeo’s pictures…’

I heaved a sigh.

“Okay, I will,” I said and went to the sink. I Began washing the dishes.
“Mrs Hadley, can I ask you something?” Maria asked.
“What is it Maria?” Mrs Had said.

“Is it true that reincarnation is truly real and not some superstition?” Maria asked.

“I don’t believe that,” Kira said.

“I do. I’ve heard stories about people who reincarnated and also my paternal great grandmother was reborn as my elder sister because my sister looks just like her and my dad told me before my great grandmother died that she made a wish to return as a really quiet and slow tempered person because she was really hot tempered and violent was she was alive..”

“So your sister is quiet and slow tempered?” Kira asked Ali.
“Very very much.. My sister, Hania doesn’t talk much, she doesn’t like to shout. She’s always quiet and cool. I do yell at her and she wouldn’t even say anything to me,” Ali said.

“Wow. Mrs Had what do you have to say about this?” Maria asked mrs Had.
“Ali is right. Reincarnation is real. I’m also a reincarnation of my mother’s father. My father had a mark on his back and I got exactly that mark on that same place at my back…” Mrs Hadley said.
Ali, Maria and Kira gasped. “Really?”

“Then does that mean each of us were reincarnated?” Maria asked.
“If you were reincarnated, you’d know,” Mrs Had said.

“But why did you bring up this issue?” Kira asked Maria.

“Because my dad told me a secret story from 400 years ago told to him by his father about a jealous friend who killed her friend because she wanted to make her friend’s lover hers but then, her friend’s sister who possess some supernatural powers killed her too but before she died, she made a wish to be reincarnated together with her dead friend, she, her friend’s sister and the man.”

“Really?” Kira said.

“Though my dad said the story wasn’t confirmed to be real so that is why it became a secret story which so many people didn’t know..” Maria said.
“But…what if it was real.. Does it mean that they have reincarnated and maybe died again or still alive?” Kira asked.

“My father said the dead jealous friend’s father began to chase the dead friend’s sister who has supernatural powers and the man and at the end they both got killed,” Maria said.

“But…is it a must that a reincarnation wish comes to pass?” Ali asked.
“No, it’s not. Some come to pass and some doesn’t,” Mrs Harley said. “I also heard the story that Ali just told and I think it was real but no one knows if they actually reincarnated.”

“Ohhh…. But what if they reincarnated? What wish did the jealous friend make?” Kira asked.

“The jealous friend said that she will kill her friend again, posses some powers and kill her friend’s sister and make the man hers,” Mrs Had said.
“Wow….really!?” Kira exclaimed.

“I’m done washing the dishes. Can I go now?” I asked.
“Sure you can but after you help Kira and Maria cut the vegetables for lunch meal,” Mrs Had said.

I raised my brow…”what?”

Mrs Had said…”it won’t take time”

Kira and Maria brought out the vegetables.
“So do you think the jealous friend would kill both sisters and get the man to be hers in their next life?” Kira asked .

“I don’t think. She doesn’t deserve to have such victory.” Maria said.
“I agree to that too,” Ali said.

“Well… I don’t want to believe that reincarnation is real but I’ll say she don’t deserve the victory as well, Kira said.

“What about you Baby, do you think she do?” Kira asked me.
“She doesn’t…” I said.

“Good. Then let’s all believe she didn’t,” Maria said.

“Please Alisa, take over the counter for me. I will be right back,” My colleague Nari said.

“Okay,” I said and took over.
In no time, a guy in black trouser, yellow top, yellow face cap and dark eyeglasses walked up to the counter.

Somehow, he looked familiar but I couldn’t see his face because it was covered.

But….he looked like Kang Jamie or maybe my head has been spinning into three because he didn’t come as he said on Monday.

I waited to see his call or text saying he’s in Bujong but none of that came.
I sent him a lot of text but got no reply. I called but there was no response then I gave up.

But that didn’t give me too much worry because I was more worried about Baby and Romeo but that didn’t stop me from being so worried and angered.
“Welcome to Pizza Fan, please make your order,” I said.
He took his glasses off, then his cap and my heart skipped when I saw his face.

Kang Jamie.

He smiled at me. “Hi Alisa”
“H..Hi..Jamie,” I returned.

“I saw a sign post outside saying workers are needed, I want to apply for a part time work here,” he said.
“What!” I exclaimed.

‘Here we are again, watching over Romeo. The doctor said he might wake up today.

Mr Abbey is also here.

We’ve been waiting for hours and then something happened.
I saw his fingers move.

I sat up and watched closely.
It moved again.

“Romeo,” I called, stood up and rushed to him.

“What’s wrong?” Mr Abbey and J.d asked.

“His fingers moved,” I said. “Romeo” I called.
His eyelids began to move too in a bit to open.
“He’s awake! Get the doctor,” Jaden said to Mr Abbey.

Mr Abbey rushed to the landline ☎

“Romeo..” I called.

His eyes slowly opened and I smiled excitedly.
“Romeo..can you see me?” I asked.
“Romeo.. you remember me?” Jaden asked.
Romeo let out a small weak smile.

“Oh my he smiled..he smiled.. He’s so sweet, ” Jaden said.
Mr Abbey returned. “The doctors are coming”
I saw his lips move.

I think he want to say something.
“He wants to say something,” Mr Abbey said.
“What does he want to say?” Jaden asked.
I took my ears closer to his lips.

“Ge……..Ge….Ge” he stuttered inaudibly.
“What did he say?” Mr Abbey asked.
“Ge……on….wh…ere…..is….A…a…ra?” he said.
I took my ears off his lips.

“What did he say?” Mr abbey asked again.
“Geon…where is Ara?” I said.

“Geon and Ara? Who are those?” Jaden asked.
The door opened and the two doctors rushed in. A male and a female.
“Please move back from him,” Dr Amanda said.

The male doctor, Dr San wore his stethoscope and checked his heart.
Romeo’s lips moved again.

He was calling that same name. “Ara”
“Hello Mr Romeo, can you hear me?” Dr San asked him loud enough.
“Mr Romeo, can you hear me? If you can hear me blink twice” he said to him.
Romeo blinked twice.

I heaved a relief sigh. ‘He can!’
Dr San raised two fingers to Romeo’s face. “What number is these?” he asked him.

Romeo lips moved and he said “T..two”
It much a bit audible this time.
Dr San brought out four fingers. “And these?”
“F..four” Romeo answered. With the same tone.

“He can see, talk but we have to check his memory ability.” Dr San said to us. “Please come forward” he said to me.
I did.

Romeo looked at me with eyes that seem so weary and in desperate want for something.

“Who is this Mr Romeo?” Dr San asked him, referring to me.
“G…Ge…on..” Romeo said.
My heart skipped.

Dr San looked at me. “Do you answer Geon?”
“No I don’t.. I don’t know the name from anywhere,” I said.
Jaden walked over. “What about me?”
Romeo said nothing.

Mr Abbey came too and Romeo said nothing too.
“Geon…” Romeo called me again, staring into my eyes. “You are….alive..”
‘What’s wrong with you Romeo? I’m Kelly not Geon’
“Is he okay?” Mr Abbey asked the doctors.

“He’ll be fine,” Dr San said.

Just then Romeo tried to get up but the doctors pinned him back down. But Romeo began struggling get back up while calling the same name “Ara…”
“I have to go to Ara” he kept saying.

“Let me go to my Ara. She’s waiting for me,” he kept saying but the doctors were able to pin him back down to the bed.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, scared.

“What’s happening?” Mr Abbey asked.
“Who’s Ara and Geon?” Jaden asked.

“We will take care of it. He’s having some hallucinations disorder which came with his amnesia.” Dr San said.

‘Ara….who’s Ara? If he sees me as Geon, then who is Ara?’

“Doctor can I try to know who he’s talking about? I can show him pictures? Since he called me Geon and asked me about Ara, maybe I might know her,” I said.

Dr Amanda came to me.

“He called you Geon doesn’t mean that you are Geon. He is seeing you as someone else who might not even be in existence.. So showing him pictures might cause him into seeing another girl as Ara when she isn’t,” Dr Amanda said.

“But I want to see who he’s going to call Ara,” I said.
“It’s fine. We can let you do that..” she said.

I took out my phone and typed on my gallery, scrolled down and clicked on Cherie’s picture, then I walked to him and showed it to him.
“Sena…she’s dead,” he said.

“Oh my..” J.d said.

‘What? Sena? Sena is Cherie’s native name but Romeo doesn’t really call her that..could this mean that he’s gotten his memory about Cherie back?’
‘But she’s not the Ara…then who is it?’
Shana or Baby?

I decided to show him Baby’s photo.
“Ara!” he said. “Where…is she? Take me to her,” he said and tried getting up again.

I hurried down from the car and ran into the hospital.
I couldn’t wait to see Romeo.

Rockstar Kelly had called me saying Romeo was awake and wanted to see me.
‘He wanted to see me!’

A car was brought to drive me to the hospital.
I delivered my entry right card to the receptionist who took me to the special VIP rooms hallway.

“Room 810” she said.
I hurried to the door and then I looked at bouquet of flowers that I held in my hands.

They looked so beautiful.
I’m going to give it to him to thank him for waking up and to wish him a quick recovery.

I inhaled, exhaled and pressed my entry card on the pass pin.
The door opened.

I walked in to see Romeo laying on the bed.
All the rockstars were already there, including Sir Santos and the rockstars managers.

There were so many flowers and gifts surrounding him.
Romeo’s eyes and I met and he smiled out and said “Ara”
Ara??
