At that moment, I realized that it was too late. I got the message late and I’ve failed again.
The Romeo that was getting himself back has been strongly caged again by Shana and her evil fairy and I couldn’t stop it.
I couldn’t!

I felt like drowning, my eyes hurt, I felt nausea. I wanted to vomit so badly.

I clutched my hands to my mouth.

The elevator stopped and once the door opened, I ran out to the rockstars private study room and batched in without knocking.
I saw the eyes of the five rockstars on me as I made my way to one of the washrooms not minding who’s I go in.

There were six washroom each for one rockstar.
I think it was Jaden’s that I could run in as quick ad possible.
I shut the door and ran to the WS where I ended up throwing up with tears in my eyes and my heart beating so fast.
I threw up again.

I looked at Zeekah with raised brows.
‘What do you mean?’ I asked her through my mind.
Romeo was sitting and typing on his laptop.

It was a lyrics of his new song.. but that isn’t important to me right now.
The memory loose spell has been casted on him but Zee also casted the spell of hardening his heart and increasing his love towards her but Zee has some sort of unpleasant news.

“He has lost memories of you cheating on him. he can never remember it but I tried casting the spell of increasing his love for you and hardening his heart but it isn’t working” she said.
‘What do you mean?’ I asked again.

“What I mean is that, I can’t increase his love for you nor harden his heart and that has to do with Baby. Her spirit is already with him though it isn’t strong yet. I told you Baby is a strong descendant of jungshimam. Her spirit is really strong.”

‘Her spirit? Why’s her spirit with him?’
“It means…it means that he’s beginning to like her”

‘What!!!’

“And she is liking him too. That is the secret to breaking the spell. No evil magic spell casted on him will ever work if they fall in love with each other. And she knows it.”

‘No way! But your magic is strong! Why can’t you destroy her?!’
“Because of the history that her kingdom and mine share. They are very strong fairies. But there’s another way we can take her out. By getting her far away from him and killing her without magic since magic can’t harm her.” she said.
‘Killing her? How do we do that?’

“There are many ways to kill a human without magic. We will make our plan later tonight.” Zee said.
I looked at Romeo.

‘What about Romeo. I need him to love me more than he’s ever done and keep being the cold hearted introvert that he is’
“If we execute our plan, it will work” Zee said.

‘Zeekah, four hundred years ago, Baby won the fight. She can’t win me this time. I’m the one who made the wish for an reincarnation, and I’m the one to win this time. I’m not going to loose….so you do the right thing!’ I said through my mind to Zee.
“Yes Queen Shana. You are going to win, trust me,” she said.

‘”I have to excuse you both now. See you later tonight. But not in the mansion. Let’s meet somewhere far away from Rina. I’m going to think of a perfect plan, bye” Zee said and vanished.
I exhaled.
‘Romeo is liking Baby already and vise versa? No way! I can never let that happen!’

Romeo shut his laptop and turned to me with a smile.
“Babe, I gotta go now. Let’s leave together,” he said, taking my hand.
I smiled. “Sure but first, you have to give me a long kiss.”
He smiled. “Of course, come here”

He pulled me into him, his lips caught mine and we began to kiss..
‘Romeo.. I’m never going to loose you again. I’m going to do everything I can to keep you forever. You are mine and nobody else can stop you from being mine forever. And as for Baby, I don’t care how strong her spirit is, she must have won four hundred years ago but I’m going to win this time. No matter what it takes!’

After cleaning up in the washroom, I returned back to the private study room and met the rockstars all staring at me.
I bowed at them. “H..hello sirs”
Jaden stood up and came to me. He touched my forehead.
“You don’t look okay. Did you throw up?” he asked.
“Y…yes” I said.

“Ahh, out of all the washrooms, how could you use mine. You could have used Romeo’s instead, it’s more shiny,” he said with a grin.
“I’m…I’m sorry sir,” I said.
“No it’s okay. Do you always fall ill?” he asked me.
I shook my head. “No sir”

“Why did you throw up then?” he asked.
“I…I..just–” the door opened, interrupting me.
Romeo walked in and without hesitating a second, I ran to him and without a second thought, I grabbed his right hand, holding it with my both hands.
He held his laptop with his left.
“Are…you…are you okay sir?” I asked, staring into his eyes.
He raised his brows and asked. “Do I look like I’m not?”

“I…just…wanted…to know,” I said
He lowered his face closer and asked, “And if I say that I’m not okay, what are you gonna do about it?”
I blinked my eyes at him “Huh? Oh…I..I’mm…”

“You what?” he asked.

“I…I’m..I will first of all ask you why you are not okay sir,” I said.
“Then?” he asked.

“Um…I have to know why you are not okay then I will know what to say next,” I said.

I was still holding his hand. I guess he haven’t remembered that yet.

I knew the did had been done but there was something different.
He still looked like the Romeo who’s changing back to his real self.
“Are you going to keep holding my hand?” he asked me.
I nodded. “Yes sir” but gasped when I realized what I just said.
I quickly left his hand. “I’m sorry sir”
He stood back straight. “Take a mirror and look at your mouth.” he said and walked away, to his favorite couch.”
I watched him with a worried heart.

‘I’m sorry that I was too late.. If only I have read the message a minute after it got delivered.. I could have stopped them..’
He dropped his laptop into his backpack and locked the bag.
‘What spell did she cast on you this time? I was so close to finishing my mission…how could this happen?’

Jaden’s sudden appearance at my front shot me out of my lost in thought.
“Could this be what I’m thinking?” he asked and stepped closer to me.
“Huh?” I asked, looking at him.
The rockstars began to leave.

He brought his lips closer to my ear. “That you are pregnant for Romeo?”
I widened my eyes in total astonishment and I quickly withdrew my ear.
“What? How can you say that sir! It can never be possible.. Why will you even say something like that!?” I snapped at him.
He chuckled.

“What? What did he say?” Elvin asked me.
“Nothing!…sir” I snapped at Elvin.

“What? You just snapped at me,” Elvin said.
I bowed to him “I’m sorry sir”
He chuckled and walked away.

“Oh my… You’re such a shy pretty girl” Jaden said.
“Sir you can’t just say something like that. It’s improper,” I said.
“Really? But I think a lot of girls would kill to get pregnant for Romeo.” Jaden said.

“That will put his career at risk. He’s still very young to get himself into that!” I said but I think I was a little loud.
“That’s true but I think you two would make a beautiful kid,” Jaden said.
“Sir!! I have to pack the bags now,” I said and headed to the bags.
‘What!’

Only J.d and I remained in the room.
“I like you Baby,” he said.
I stopped.

‘What? What’s really going on in my life today? First it was Jamie and now Rockstar Jaden? Please I have just Romeo to worry about.. I don’t want to think about anything else’

“So I’m trusting you to help Romeo. I will buy you a treat in whichever restaurant and in whichever country you choose, if you succeed,” he said.
‘Really?’

I turned to him. “I will try my best sir..”
‘I wonder if any of them know that Romeo got me a phone.. He’s really changing but….he’s been casted a spell again… I really have to find out what spell it is..’

Once again inside the private jet, I sat beside Romeo. It’s becoming a habit and he doesn’t say anything.
Not even after being enchanted again.
Could it be that the spell didn’t work on him?
I have to find out…

From the very moment I returned from school and began my per time work of delivering pizzas, I waited for Jamie’s call but I got none.
At a point I wanted to call him but I couldn’t. I couldn’t bring myself to.
“He said he was going to call me.. I’ll keep waiting,” I told myself.
But his call never came.

I closed for work and went home.

I had no appetite so I didn’t eat.

I had my bath and laid down still waiting for his call but it never came.
But I didn’t give up. I kept waiting for his call or even a text message.
Finally, it was exactly 11:05pm when I received a message.
I quickly grabbed my phone and opened it.
It was a message from him.
????I’m sorry for not calling. I’ll be returning to Bujong tomorrow. Don’t ask me why. I might tell you later????

I smiled.

I felt happy to read that he was coming back to Bujong but in as much as I
felt happy, I was worried about the reason he wants to come back.
As far as I know, Rocks High is really far from here.
I suddenly craved for cornflakes and milk.
I left my room to the kitchen to make a big plate of it.
Yes I was worried but my excitement surprisingly overshadowed my worry.

I walked into the room and closed the door.
Zeekah appeared.
“Hello Queen Shana,” she greeted.
“Go on,” I said.
“I have the perfect plan.” she smiled. “Here is it..”

[Rockstars mansion| Romeo’s room]

The good news was that a new cook arrived who’d be cooking for the few days that Mrs Had is away.
She introduced her name as Ms Benita, a BBlizz worker.
Her meal was really nice and the rockstars all had their dinner including Romeo.

When Romeo finally returned back to his room, I decided to go and find out what he really is now.

I knocked at his door and made sure I wasted a minute before going in.
I wouldn’t want to meet him bare chest again.
He was lying on his bed with his headphone on.
I walked to him and bowed.
“Hello sir.. Can you help me with a little problem in my new phone?” I asked.
“I’m busy,” he said.

“I think I put a wrong setting.. I can’t flip up anymore.. Can you help me please sir?” I said.

“I just told you that I’m busy.. Are you deaf?” he asked.
I shook my head. “No sir”
“Then leave” he said.

“Okay sir,” I said and turned to leave.
I was almost close to the door when he said. “I told you to use it carefully. I can’t let you leave a wrong setting on such an expensive phone..bring it,” he said.

I smiled and turned.
“Yes sir” I ran back to him and dropped the phone into his hand.
It was then that I saw an old novel ‘After The Day’.
It look like he was trying to hide it under the duvet but somehow it wasn’t fully hidden.

“Only dummies like you set this on their phone.. Are you such a clueless dummy?” he said.
I leaned closer.

“What are you doing?” he asked, his eyes still on my phone.
I leaned more closer.

Then he looked up at me and raised his brow “What do you think you are doing?” he asked.

I leaned a little more closer and that was when I was able to grab the novel and take it out.

I withdrew back immediately I did and then I saw that a half of the novel got destroyed by a fire burn.

“What! How dare you take that. Drop it now,” he said.
“Sir… This was my favorite story when I was little.”
“Drop it and don’t dare open it,” he said.

“I don’t need to sir. I know each word and page by heart… I just recalled how much I liked this novel when I was little. I always read it ten times a day. My foster mom was the one who always read it to me until I began to know how to read and I started reading it myself. I miss those days.. I miss it..” I said.

He stood up and grabbed the book from me.

“I don’t care if you read the book a million times, don’t touch this one ever again,” he said and dropped my phone into my hand. “I told you to use it carefully! I don’t wanna repeat myself again. Leave now,” he said.
“Thank you sir..” I said and left.

I returned to my room and I had no idea about the million tears that have gathered in my eyes until I let them all pour down.

I laid down on my bed, hugged myself and cried them all out.
I kept shedding million of tears that I couldn’t even stop myself.
That type of tears that only stops when it wants to.

I covered myself and cried more but then my phone began to ring.
I took the phone and the name I saw made my tears stop for a moment.
Romeo was calling.

‘Why’s he calling? Oh my! I didn’t arrange his bed!’
I wiped my tears, cleared my throat twice and picked up.
????”hello sir… I’m on my way to dress your bed. My apologies for forgetting,” I said, trying to sound clear enough.

????”Since you said you know each page by heart, can you read it for me then? I don’t understand it anymore because half of the book is destroyed. I’m really craving to read the novel tonight after so many years,” he said, his voice as calm as ever.
