After Qin Haodong finished his briefing, he had just left Huang Xiaoxian when the mobile phone in his pocket rang. He took a look at it and found that the call was from Xi Youmi.

The two of them had just parted a few hours ago, why did she call him so soon?

He pressed the answer button, and Xi Youmi’s voice was heard from the other side of the phone. “Haodong, quickly escape and don’t stay here. Return to Huaxia as soon as possible.”

Qin Haodong could tell that something had happened so he asked urgently, “What’s wrong? What happened?”

Xi Youmi choked as she spoke, “Don’t ask anymore. Leave quickly. The sooner you leave, the better.”

Qin Haodong said, “How can I leave if you don’t tell me what happened?”

Xi Youmi said, “Jared and his bunch of people came. They have just found me…”

Qin Haodong frowned. This damn bearded man, there was just no end to this. Had he forgotten that he was the one who saved him on the plane?

He said, “Are they gone now?”

“They’ve already left…”

Qin Haodong knew that it was impossible to resolve anything over the phone, so he said, “Tell me your address. I’ll go there now.”

The Fashion Week would be officially launched tomorrow and today was meant to be a dress rehearsal. Designers like Xi Youmi who came to participate in this event, brought their own fashion models to the venue in the metropolis for the rehearsal.

When Qin Haodong entered the venue, he discovered that this place was a mess. Lincoln Centre was M Country’s symbolic building, so Jared’s group did not dare to touch it.

However, the equipment brought by these fashion designers was all smashed into pieces and various fashionable clothes were thrown all over the ground. Many of the models who participated in the rehearsal were badly battered.

She raised her head and saw Qin Haodong but she cried out hastily. “Why are you here? Leave quickly, those people will be back later.”

At this moment, a white lady with a curvy figure shouted. “He can’t leave. Those people from the Jared family are here for him and if this problem isn’t settled, how are we going to rehearse? How are we going to perform tomorrow?”

When the others found out that Qin Haodong was the person whom Jared was looking for, they also started shouting. “That’s right, he can’t leave. The problem isn’t settled, so who will take the responsibility for all these losses?”

“Alright, stop arguing. Since I’m already here, I won’t leave.”

Qin Haodong was rather fluent in English. His voice was not loud but it was imposing, and that made the people around him shut up in an instant.

He turned back and looked at Xi Youmi, only to find a big palm print on her left cheek. Her right cheek bone was also swollen; apparently, she had been slapped.

Although he rejected her, seeing her beaten up like this still made him furious. He was seething in anger. “Who slapped you? Tell me what exactly is going on?”

Xi Youmi replied, “We were in the middle of rehearsing when Jared brought along a big group of people. I don’t know how he managed to find his way here but he said that since he wasn’t able to get back the 30 million dollars that was stolen from him, then you must compensate him for his losses.”

“He asked me to tell him your address, but I didn’t do so, so he started smashing this place. He threatened that if I didn’t hand you over, I won’t be able to take part in this season’s Fashion Week.”

“That bastard, I should have let the robbers kill him back then.”

Qin Haodong patted her back and comforted her. “Don’t worry. You all should just continue to rehearse. I’ll solve this problem.”

Hearing their conversation, the tall woman next to them voiced out again. “How are you going to solve this? Leave the other stuff aside, our models are all injured, so how are they going to take part in the show tomorrow?”

Qin Haodong swept his glance around and asked when he saw that wailing model with a broken leg. “He has been injured for so long, why hasn’t anyone sent him to the hospital?”

Xi Youmi answered, “He’s my contracted model. Before Jared left, he threatened that if anyone dares to send him to the hospital, he will break that person’s leg. The ambulance hasn’t arrived until now so it’s definitely him who made a courtesy call to them.”

The tall woman said, “Since you have offended the Jared family, then you should just withdraw from this season’s Fashion Week. Otherwise, we will all suffer.”

Hearing this suggestion, the other fashion designers all echoed in agreement.

Tears brimming in her eyes, Xi Youmi said, “Alright, I’ll quit.”

Originally, she carried high hopes for Fashion Week. Her latest design would likely amaze the world in the show but since things had come to this point, her only choice was to quit.

“Wait! You can’t quit!” Qin Haodong stopped Xi Youmi as he turned back. He told the rest, “Give me half an hour, I will give you an answer.”

Saying that, he stepped in front of Xi Youmi and reached out to wipe her tears away. After that, he pressed her cheek gently.

The other fashion designers wanted to continue pressurizing on Xi Youmi, forcing her to withdraw from Fashion Week but when they saw this amazing scene, all of them were stunned.

After healing Xi Youmi’s injury, Qin Haodong walked over to the model with the broken leg.

“Calm down. I’m a doctor. I’m going to cure your leg now.”

This male model sat on the ground, dumbfounded. He didn’t dare to believe that he was really able to stand up on his broken leg.

But his broken leg was no longer in pain. He reached out his hand to touch it and there wasn’t any pain. With the help of others, he tried to stand up from the ground. Other than a little soreness, there wasn’t too much pain.

He tried again and took two steps forward, discovering that he really could walk, but he couldn’t exert too much strength on this leg.

“Oh my god, what’s going on? Have I met a magic doctor?”
