Finally, Xiao Su obeyed the order and left. Before leaving, he also helped Ye Moxuan to close the door. The room became quiet. Ye Moxuan then placed the towel on the table after he had done wiping her clean. He then parted his thin lips and said, “Can you solve problems by crying?”

Shen Qi’s tears were still flowing although he had helped her to wipe away her tears for a long time. He then lost his patience. He withdrew his fingers and sneered, “Fight back if you don’t like it. Tears…are the most useless thing in the world!”

Although Shen Qi was drunk, she could vaguely hear someone talking in her ear. However, she could not hear any words clearly. She only felt a head-splitting headache. She opened her eyes with difficulty and saw a tall figure walking around in the room.

T-T-This silhouette is so familiar. But, who does it belong to?

Her eyelids were heavy and she couldn’t bear her drowsiness anymore. Shen Qi closed her eyes and soon fell asleep again.

The consequence of the hangover was a painful headache. When Shen Qi woke up the next day, her head still hurt. The pain made her cradle her head as she sat up. Looking at the brightness of the room, she slowly calmed down.

After staring into space for about ten seconds, Shen Qi turned to look at Ye Moxuan’s big bed.

He was still lying there, prim and proper. Obviously, he hadn’t awakened yet.

Shen Qi wanted to grab her mobile phone, but it was not under her pillow. Hence, she had to get out of bed and tiptoe to the bathroom. After passing by the table, she found that all the things on it were hers.

Shen Qi took a look at the time and found that it was still very early.

Thus, she went to the bathroom to wash her face; only then did she feel that her headache had subsided a bit.

She looked at herself in the mirror. She had dark circles under her eyes; her face was pale; her hair was messy and her eyes were swollen. So ugly…This is unbelievable…What happened to me? Shen Qi reached out her hands to cover her face.

Shen Qi thought that she had seen a ghost in the mirror. She pinched her cheek hard to bring some color to her cheeks. Then, she held a towel that was soaked in cold water against her eyes so that they were less swollen.

When Shen Qi finally felt that she looked better, she let out a breath and came out from the bathroom.

Shen Qi could’t not help but look at Ye Moxuan when she was passing by her bed. Suddenly, the image of a tall figure walking in the room flashed in her mind.

With this in mind, Shen Qi’s footsteps suddenly halted.

She was completely drunk last night. Was she hallucinating? But…why was that scene so clear? That figure seems to be him, but…

Shen Qi’s eyes fell on the wheelchair which was at the side.

All along, he was in a wheelchair, and I had helped him before. Obviously, he didn’t have any strength in his legs at all.

Shen Qi rubbed her painful forehead and returned to bed, planning to sleep for a while more.

The image ended here. Although all the flashbacks were in pieces, when everything was put together, Shen Qi could almost guess what had happened.

She was shell-shocked. She lay on the bed, afraid to make a move.

She really had had too much to drink last night. She did not expect that she had done so many embarrassing things. Had I ever been like that before? No! In the past, I would never have let myself go this much when I drank. When I came home, I would even cook and take a bath before going to bed.

But why did I become like that last night …

Shen Qi’s heart was in a mess, and even if she closed her eyes, her brain was in a mess.

However, her overthinking couldn’t beat her drowsiness,for Shen Qi soon fell asleep again. When she woke up again, she was awakened by a sound in the room. Opening her eyes, Shen Qi sat up and found that Ye Moxuan had got up and was washing in the bathroom.

Shen Qi turned over and pulled the quilt over her head as she felt embarrassed for doing such a disgraceful thing last night.

It’s so frustrating.

I will wait until he leaves. It’s better for us to not meet each other. After making this decision, Shen Qi was relieved.

The bathroom door opened and there were sounds of the wheelchair’s wheels rolling.

Shen Qi peeped through her quilt and saw that it really was Ye Moxuan who was sitting in the wheelchair.

That’s right; how can Ye Moxuan stand up? I must be too drunk or I’ve got the wrong person.

Wait! Why is he coming this way?! Shen Qi immediately pulled the quilt over her head and straightened her body.

“Get up if you’re awake.” Ye Moxuan coldly opened his mouth and said, but Shen Qi kept lying on the bed, pretending not to hear what he had said. She closed her eyes and told herself that she was still sleeping.

“You finally know shame, do you?”

Shen Qi’s body trembled. Does he know that I’m awake?

“Weren’t you very bold last night?” Ye Moxuan continued to ask.

Shen Qi bit her lower lip and pretended that she didn’t know what he was talking about.

After a while, there was no sound outside. Shen Qi was curious and quietly poked her head out. There was no sight of the wheelchair. Ye Moxuan seemed to have left.

Shen Qi let out a sigh of relief. She finally lifted the quilt and came out from under it.

I almost suffocated in there…

After opening the quilt, Shen Qi froze. The person she thought had left was still sitting there. He just changed his position.

Their eyes met. The awkwardness that hung in the air was so thick it could be sliced with a knife.

Silence…

After a few seconds, Shen Qi bit her lower lip. She immediately got up and jumped out of bed to rush to the bathroom.

“What? Are you too ashamed to face me after what happened last night?”

However, because of Ye Moxuan’s words, Shen Qi suddenly stopped in her tracks and turned back. She originally intended to escape, but at this moment, she changed her mind. She stood still and silently clenched her fits.

“No, I’m not.” Shen Qi bit her lower lip, and her eyes fell on Ye Moxuan’s handsome face. She then parted her red lips and continued, “About last night, thank you for bringing me home.”

Hearing this, Ye Moxuan raised his eyebrows and squinted at her. “It seems that you still remember?”

“I remember most of it.” Shen Qi whispered. Then, she reached out and tucked her hair behind her ear and bit her lower lip. After hesitating for a while, she said, “Last night…I didn’t do anything terrible, did I?”

That part of her memories were fragmented. She probably knew what happened, but…she didn’t know what happened next, like…what happened after the kiss?

I didn’t say any nonsense to Ye Moxuan, did I?

While she was lost in her thoughts, Ye Moxuan’s concentrated gaze fell on her face, so fiery it could almost burn a hole in her face. When she had finally come back to reality, her eyes met his.

Shen Qi grabbed the corner of her clothes tight when she heard this. She was so nervous that her eyelashes trembled. “I think I…didn’t do anything to you, right?

“Why? Do you actually hope that you’ve done something to me?”
