Shen Qi lowered her head. Water droplets still dripped down her hair which was wet from the shower.

“It’s true!” Shen Qi spoke again. However, she obviously did not feel confident from her tone of voice.

Ye Moxuan smirked and suddenly took the form from her hands. “Do you think you can fool my eyes with this fake proof of yours? Who is your accomplice? How could he or she be so bold as to accompany you in this fallacy?!”

He crumpled up the abortion certificate and threw it at Shen Qi’s feet.

Shen Qi lifted her head abruptly while her thin figure shuddered. Her face was pale and her lips quivered. “You…”

The force on her wrist increased all of a sudden; she felt that her wrist was about to be broken by him. She frowned in pain, yet she bit down on her lower lip tightly, thereby preventing herself from making any sound.

“Hah! I knew you were a dishonest woman!” Ye Moxuan increased the force of his grip and pulled her into his embrace, not giving her any opportunity to struggle. Then, he placed a transparent plastic packet into her hand.

Shen Qi lowered her head and noticed that there was a white pill inside the packet.

She seemed to recall something, thereupon her face became pale again. She threw the pill away with trembling hands. However, Ye Moxuan increased the force of his grip on her wrist.

“I hate a woman like you the most in my life! You are selfish, yet you pretend to be an innocent person and try to destroy another person’s family. Moreover, you marry into my family after getting pregnant with another person’s child. Do you think you would emerge unscathed from this incident with such impure intentions?”

He personally peeled the plastic packet open with his hands, while his smile turned evil and bloodthirsty.

“Don’t you want to stay in the Ye Family? If you eat this pill, I will allow you to continue on as the Lady of the house.”

Without thinking about it, Shen Qi knew what type of medication it was. Her face turned pale in the blink of an eye and her petite figure trembled even more under his restraint.

“No! I don’t want to! That form is the real thing! I have already aborted the baby! Please believe me!”

Ye Moxuan’s gaze was extremely cold as his slender fingers pinched her lower jaw easily, thereby forcing her lips open. Then, with his other hand, he stuffed the pill forcefully into her mouth.

Shen Qi was trying to resist him throughout the fight. However, there was a huge difference between a man’s strength and that of a woman. She could not move a muscle under Ye Moxuan’s tight grip. Hence, she could only watch as he stuffed the pill into her mouth.

The pill’s distinctive taste melted into her mouth the moment it touched her tongue. The bitter smell assaulted her mind, thereupon her stomach started to churn.

“R-Release me!”

“Swallow it!” Ye Moxuan held her down ruthlessly and tried to push the pill deeper into her mouth. His gaze and expression looked like that of a devil as he did it mercilessly.

Finally, Shen Qi couldn’t help but make some gagging sounds.

As such, Ye Moxuan frowned.

He finally let go when he saw that she was about to vomit.

The next second, Shen Qi rushed outside like an arrow that had just been released from its bow.

When Ye Moxuan saw the petite figure rushing into the bathroom and lying on the sink as she vomited, his handsome features turned dark and the hostility in his gaze increased.

Shen Qi lay on the sink as she continued to vomit profusely. The bitter taste of the pill in her mouth did not vanish after some time as it continued to assault her taste buds, causing her to vomit again and again.

Fortunately, she managed to vomit out the pill and not swallow it.

After some time, Shen Qi finally returned to normal. She felt extremely tired as she had forced herself to clean the bathroom. Then, she collapsed onto the toilet.

She had taken her shower just now. However, her forehead and neck was covered in a thick layer of cold sweat.

Her stomach hurt…

Shen Qi clutched her tummy subconsciously.

She obviously spat out the medicine, so how could her tummy hurt? Could she have swallowed some unintentionally, and that she was suffering from the side effects now?

When she thought about this, she started to panic.

Her expression was as pale as a ghost when she stood up from the toilet. Then, she staggered out while clutching her stomach.

Ye Moxuan pressed his lips together. “Where are you going?”

Shen Qi did not answer him and walked outside stubbornly.

“Stop there!” Ye Moxuan shouted, and he actually managed to make her stop.

Her petite figure stopped and stood there for a while before she collapsed to the side.
