New Romance in Marriage - Season 1 Episode 16
To Sierra, James was the perfect man. Sierra loved James’s considerate and gentlemanly side and was also secretly drawn to his roughness in bed.
Sierra was blown away by James’s lingering kiss.
James released her and hissed through clenched teeth, his eyes smoldering. “You’re so hot”
Sierra felt weak in the knees.
The curtains opened a while later. James, still fully dressed, put his arm around Sierra’s waist and
left.
Sierra’s face was flushed, and her lips bore teeth marks. She kept her head down, not wanting to look around. She wondered if anyone had heard them. She had bit her lip to stifle her moans, but some sounds had escaped her lips.
They left the café, and James took Sierra to a hotel. Once there, they eagerly held each other.
Through James‘ rough motion, Sierra felt her heart slowly settle into place.
She could feel James‘ love.
At the very least, she was not left with nothing. She still had James.
Sierra did not lose out on much with James on her side.
After a beautiful moment together, Sierra lay in James‘ embrace and murmured, “Let’s get married, James.”
James was without a word. He held her shoulders, his fingers running along her collarbone.
Sierra waited for James‘ response with bated breath. Her heart sank at the delay.
Did James not want her?
“James…” Sierra propped herself up and looked at James with tearful eyes.
James let out a soft sigh and planted a kiss on her forehead “Don’t think too much about it, silly girl. Now isn’t the time… As the situation with Chns is still fresh, marrying you now would only put you in a difficult position. Let’s wait until things have settled down before we talk about it ”
Sierra cried and threw herself at James. She whimpered, “You’re too good to me, James.”
“You’re the only one for me, silly.” James chuckled. However, the smile did not reach his eyes. It was a shame that Sierra’s head was buried in his chest to notice.
Paige had a horrible day in school.
Her classmates gave her weird looks.

Although no one said anything to her face, Paige caught wind of some rumors.
Someone started talking about Paige taking her sister’s place to marry Chris. Others joined in on the discussion, saying Paige stole Chiis from Sierra. Some even accused her of getting pregnant and baby–trapping Chris
Gossip could quickly spiral out of control when not based on facts.
The good thing was that these people only discussed it in private. They would not say anything to Paige.

After a day of classes, Paige returned to her residence hall. She had been living on campus at a renowned college. The campus offered a variety of housing options. From dorms with eight to four roommates, all for a price.
Paige stayed in a four–person dorm room.
The dorm room was equipped with four bunk beds, each with a desk underneath. Students could use the desks to store their personal belongings and computers.
She washed her face and got into bed. Paige applied a face mask and dozed off.
Her roommates were back at around 7:00 pm. Their chatting woke Paige up.
Paige sat up and peeled off her dry face mask. Her head felt heavy as she had not had a good night’s sleep in days. The weight of her worries took a toll on her.
“You’re awake, Paige,” A roommate said with a smile.
Paige nodded. “Yeah.”
“Paige, are you going home tonight?” Millie asked with a smile.
Millie and Lisa majored in performance arts while Annabelle studied business management like Paige.
While the roommates were cordial, they were not close. They were simply girls living in the same dorm, where they could enjoy a good laugh and have meals together at the school cafeteria.
They might be petty to each other sometimes, but it was all harmless. On the surface, they maintained a good relationship.
Paige shook her head.

“Paige, you’re newlyweds…” Lisa raised her brow suggestively.
Paige’s face turned red.
She flushed as she remembered what Chris had done to her in bed.
Her reaction stirred a round of laughter.
“Paige, we couldn’t get you a gift in time since you got married out of the blue. Though, you must
buy us dinner,” Annabelle said with a smile.
Lisa and Millie echoed the same sentiment.
“That’s right. You’re Chris‘ wife now. We’re expecting an expensive meal.”
Paige felt like she owed her roommates a meal since they had treated each other to meals on birthdays and other celebrations. Her wedding was a huge event, so she thought she should be the
one to buy everyone meals.
She gave a nod.
