“Honey, you’re being unreasonably jealous again.” Nina rolled her eyes at John, got out of his arms, and walked away from the sofa.

“The reason I call him Brother Noah is that…” She was about to explain, but her husband was already in front of her in a flash. He snaked his arm around her waist and pressed her body against his.

He playfully nibbled on her shoulder. “Ouch!” She glared at him. “Why are you acting like a hungry dog?”

“I’m Nine’s father, and you’re Nine’s mother.” As John spoke, he reached for Nina’s chin and tipped her head backward. He stared deeply into his wife’s eyes, his blood boiling with anticipation.

“Hmm…” Nina frowned.

What the hell was wrong with him?

She thought he wanted her to explain, but just as she was about to, he pounced on her like a wild animal.

The struggle did not last long. Eventually, it turned into something completely different.

It had been a long time since John and Nina had been intimate with each other. They could not control themselves now.

When Henry was alone, he sat quietly, lost in thought. He did not like being disturbed at such times.

But Adrian could not wait any longer. Henry was a member of Ye family. If Noah did not take over the Ye Group, it would fall on Henry.

Henry would be the new CEO of Ye Group and the fiance of Vera Fu.

The Ye and Fu families had a somewhat strange agreement a few years ago. The reason why it was strange was that Vera was not engaged to a certain person but to the CEO of Ye Group.

Whoever was the CEO of Ye Group would marry Vera.

Only the two families knew about the agreement, but since Adrian was a friend of a Fu, he also knew.

Adrian had thought that Noah would marry Vera. He did not expect that Henry would end up fulfilling the agreement.

Unhappiness apparent on his face, Adrian pushed the door open and walked in. He swept his gaze across the hall, but no one was there. “Henry, where are you? Come out!”

Henry then came out of the shower. He had a bath towel wrapped around his waist, and his hair was dripping wet.

“What’s wrong?” Henry asked, although he could guess why Adrian had come. “What’s wrong? What do you think is wrong?” Adrian stomped toward Henry, put one arm against his neck, and pushed him against the wall.

Startled by Adrian’s move, Henry just stared at him while holding his bath towel in place. He coughed as Adrian’s arm pressed down on his throat. He said with difficulty, “You need to let me go if you want to talk to me.”

Seeing Henry’s face slowly turn red, Adrian gritted his teeth and stepped away. Henry put a hand on his neck and coughed until he breathed normally.

“Don’t go back to the Ye family,” Adrian said fiercely. “If you’re short of money, tell me. I’ll give you all the money I’ve earned. If you’re short of status, I’ll make you vice president of Song Group. If I have to fight John to keep you, I’ll do it. You can’t go back to the Ye family, do you hear me?”

Adrian and Henry were almost the same height. Henry saw some red streaks in Adrian’s eyes, partly because of him and partly because of work.

Henry answered, “Have more rest in the future. Don’t always work hard. Making money will be for nothing if you don’t live long enough to enjoy it. Besides, I want someone to quarrel with when I’m fifty.”

“Who the hell wants to quarrel with you? I’m talking about business, Henry. You can’t go back to the Ye family,” Adrian repeated. He gritted his teeth and decided to tell Henry what he knew. “Do you know that you will be the CEO of Ye Group when you return? You’re going to marry Vera Fu.”

Henry was a little surprised not by the fact that he was going to marry Vera Fu but by Adrian’s knowledge of it.

Only the Ye and Fu families knew about that arrangement.

Henry thought about Adrian’s romantic past. He grabbed Adrian’s arm and pressed him against the wall using the same force that Adrian had just used on him.

“Who told you about this? Is it Vivian? Or one of the Fu family’s ladies?”

Adrian stared at Henry in surprise. He breathed in sharply.

‘What?

Did Henry mean that he knew about it all along?’ Adrian thought.

“So you know about it?” Adrian pushed Henry away with his elbow.

Then, he began pacing in front of him.

“You know that you’re going to get engaged to Vera Fu when you return?”

Adrian’s heart skipped a beat. He had confessed his feelings for Henry, but the latter kept silent.

This made Adrian lack a sense of security.

“I have to go back,” Henry finally muttered. John was right. If one wanted to protect the person they cared for, they had to have enough power.

No one in the world would be patient to listen to an insignificant person.

If people found out, they would malign them dreadfully.

In order to protect Adrian, Henry should assume Ye Group’s seat of power.

What was more, Vera would be his cover. No matter how close he and Adrian were, others would only think that they were just good buddies.

Henry made up his mind to return to Ye family.

He reached out his hand, patted Adrian on the shoulder, and said, “Would you like to see my real appearance?”

“What do you mean?” Adrian looked Henry up and down and didn’t realize what he meant.

Henry smiled and said, “Take off my glasses and put them on.”

“Fine.” Adrian took off Henry’s glasses and put them on.

His eyes widened at what he saw. “These aren’t prescription glasses.”

Adrian was sure that he was not nearsighted. He took the glasses off and put them on again, but nothing changed at all.

“Why do you bother wearing these if they’re not prescription?” Adrian pushed the glasses to the bridge of his nose as Henry turned around and started adjusting his hair.

Henry’s hair had grown out like that of a Korean pop idol. His bangs completely covered his forehead. After squeezing out every last drop of water from his hair, Henry slicked it back, revealing his angular face in excruciating detail.

The moment Henry turned around, Adrian stood still, dumbfounded. “You and Noah are really brothers.”

When Henry pushed his hair back, Adrian realized his striking resemblance to Noah.
