She looked like a beautiful mermaid, quiet and gentle.

Angela patted her husband on the shoulder and said, “Your son has arrived with your future daughter-in-law.”

“So he’s not your son now?” Daniel joked and held his wife tighter.

“Don’t be ridiculous. Of course I mean our son has arrived with our future daughter-in-law.” Angela patted her husband on the hand.

When Daniel took a closer look at Emma, he found that although she was holding onto his son’s arm, she was wearing an official smile. Daniel shook his head and said, “It’s too early to get our hopes up.”

Angela also looked over and happened to see that Emma’s eyes were fixed on someone else at the moment, and that person was Harrison.

“This will be really hard for our son, but it will cultivate his patience.” Angela pressed her lips together in a thin line as she watched James cross the room with the distracted Emma.

It was almost time. Adrian stood in front of the microphone and said a few conventional words. Before he closed, he said a few words about Leon.
