- MY UNKNOWN HUSBAND, VOLUME 2
- Season 3 Episode 62 - (You're so good looking)
Seeing Amy and Lena, the smile on Leon’s face faded. He patted Nina’s back, put her down, and pulled her behind him.
Wynn stepped forward and asked, “So what? Even if she’s married, she’s still Leon’s sister.”
Nina was filled with joy when she saw her brother and paid no attention to what anyone else said. Leon took the opportunity to lead her away.
“Nini! I have a lot to tell you! Why don’t we hang out today?”
“Sounds good.” Nina also had a lot to say to her brother. When she turned to leave, she thought of Michelle. “Wait, I’ll ask Mimi to come with us.”
Leon took a look at the black Maybach and saw a lovely girl standing outside of it. She blinked her eyes, looking very cute.
Michelle seemed to sense that Leon was looking at her. She flashed him a bright smile.
Leon thought Michelle was an uncomplicated and lovely girl.
Imagining that she and Nina were good friends, he nodded slightly and smiled. Leon’s smile was quite attractive.
Michelle blinked her eyes and thought, ‘He’s as good-looking as Nini.
Forget that. He’s more good-looking.’ Michelle shook her head and giggled. Nina waved at Michelle and said, “Mimi, over here.”
Michelle walked towards Nina.
When she got there, Nina took Michelle’s hand. Leon put his arm around Nina’s shoulder. They walked away together. “Mrs. Shi, where are you going?” Seeing Nina walking away with a man they didn’t know, Amy and Lena became anxious.
They were about to step in the way and prevent them from leaving.
But Wynn got in their way instead.
Realizing that Amy and Lena were still there, Nina turned to them and said, “I won’t be to North Yard tonight. I’m with my brother. Tell John not to worry about me.”
“But…” Lena didn’t think this was a good idea.
‘It’s not that he’ll be worried.
I don’t know how to explain to him that you want to stay with another guy.
Besides, it’s his business if he’s worried.’
Lena suddenly had an idea and said, “Sir, since you’re Mrs. Shi’s brother, why don’t you come to the North Yard with her?”
“No, thanks.” Leon refused and gave Wynn a look.
“He’s Nini’s brother and won’t hurt her. You can tell Uncle John. He won’t be angry,” Michelle said.
Then Nina and Michelle left with Leon.
Wynn said to Amy and Lena, “I don’t want to fight women, but that doesn’t mean I won’t do it. Just tell John Nina won’t be back recently. You know the Lu family hasn’t really come to terms with her and Mr. Shi being an item, right?”
Wynn thought, ‘The one who got married to John is a resident of Spring City, not the princess of C Island, anyway.
The royal family of C Island wouldn’t admit that John is her husband.’
Amy and Lena were a little angry. They knew that Wynn was not simple and easy to deal with.
They could do nothing but watch the four get into the car. Lena opened a notepad app and took down the plate number.
In the car, Leon and Nina were talking. Leon sat sideways, reached out and pinched Nina’s face, and then put his arm around her shoulder to look at her from head to foot.
“Thankfully, you haven’t gotten thinner. Otherwise I’d be heartbroken,” Leon said.
“I never go hungry. How could I lose weight?” Nina kept smiling, and her eyes were a little misty.
At this moment, she thought that she was neither the noble princess of C Island nor the aloof campus belle talked about by her classmates. She was just Nina.
She was a twenty-year-old girl.
She was the apple of her brother’s eye. “I missed you so much.” Nina threw herself into her brother’s arms and began to sob.
Tears finally fell from her eyes.
They were tears of joy.
“I’m so happy to see you,” Nina said.
“You’re not an easy person to find. Since you escaped from the island, I’ve been worried about you. You might meet up with bad guys, not be able to find a place to live or have enough food. I guess I worried for nothing.” Leon patted his sister’s back gently.

“I never thought you’d be so good at adulting. You not only live a good life, but make new friends, too.”
Leon stopped hugging her, wiped her tears, and pinched her nose. “It’s easier for your wish to come true if you say it out loud, right?”
In fact, Leon wanted to know Nina’s birthday wish so that he could help her realize it.
However, Nina’s birthday wish was to have good friends.
Leon felt it a little difficult to find a friend for Nina.
The children of the royal family were always busy with their duties. They had no time to themselves, nor many friends of their own.
“Well, here’s one.” Nina dragged Michelle next to her. “This is Michelle, and she’s my good friend in Lexingport City.” Michelle was still blinking.
She hadn’t figured out what was happening.
Nina found that Michelle was a little stiff. “What’s wrong with you, Mimi?”
“So you’re not an orphan after all. You have a brother, Nini,” Michelle answered with excitement.
She was really happy for Nina.
Michelle was happy that there would be one more person doting on her.
Leon looked at his sister and asked, “An orphan?”
His words reminded Nina of something. Michelle had always treated her like an orphan.
Thinking that Michelle was uncomplicated and cute, Nina didn’t want to tell Michelle about who she really was. She didn’t want to drive her away.
Nina didn’t like her identity as the princess of C Island. She nodded to Michelle, “I’m not an orphan now, but we’re still pretty poor.”
Leon didn’t understand.
After thinking for a while, he finally understood.
It turned out that Nina didn’t tell Michelle about her true identity so they could keep their friendship simple.
“Brother, you are so good-looking,” Michelle said to Leon.
It was the first time that she had seen such a good-looking guy.
She thought John was the most handsome man in the world, but Leon was as handsome as him.
Hearing Michelle’s words, Leon smiled. He liked her calling him “Brother.”
Her voice was soft, like Nina’s.
It gave Leon an unfamiliar feeling.
He touched Michelle’s head and said, “Thank you. Um…would you mind calling me Brother again?”
Sitting in the passenger seat, Wynn opened a bottle of water and sipped it, listening to the exchange.
He almost spit out his water when he heard Leon.
As it was, he was startled. His hand jerked and water spilled on him, leaving dark spots on his clothing.
‘Did he really say that?’ he thought.
Michelle smiled and couldn’t help saying, “Brother, I love your voice. It’s so deep and masculine.”
And it was no lie. A smile crept over her features. Leon smiled too. He rubbed Michelle’s head a little harder and said nothing.
Nina didn’t think anything was wrong with this. Her friends were her family, so her brother was Michelle’s brother too. Besides, Nina agreed with her friend. Her brother was handsome, and she liked his voice too.
Nina remembered what happened when she first met Michelle. Michelle couldn’t stop looking at Nina and was stunned by her beauty.
‘So both Mimi and I really like beautiful people and beautiful things,’ Nina thought.
