It was human nature not to know what was good for oneself. She deserved it!

Qiao Nan, who had been staying in the house of the Shi family and studying English, was not aware of all these happenings at the hospital. She further did not know that her fickle-minded father could, in fact, be so awesome when he set his heart out to do something.

She was quietly reading in the house of the Shi family and waiting for the results of the college entrance examination.

“Right!” Shi Qing clapped. “So, these firecrackers are most likely set off at another house and not mine. Don’t need to bother.”

Qiao Nan picked up the dictionary. She wanted to continue reading it but she felt that the noise of the firecrackers was too close to them. “I think something is not right. Shi Qing, why don’t you take a look at the entrance? When are they going to finish setting off these firecrackers? It’s too disturbing.”

“Okay.” With Qiao Nan’s company, Shi Qing was more inclined to stay at home. She had transformed into a young lady from a fake lad. “Ah, Qiao Nan, quickly come and see. It’s not at the entrance of my house but yours. Those people look quite familiar. That young one is probably one of the students that you have taught!”

I wish to study at Ping Cheng High School!” With this, he would then be considered as schoolmates with Teacher Xiao Qiao.

“…” Qiao Nan raised her brows. Was this due to her influence?

After thinking, Qiao Nan then said, “This is your own life. Of course, you can decide for yourself. However, you can’t choose to ignore your parents’ opinions at times. You have to listen to them and respect your parents. Don’t you think so?”

Although the results of Ping Cheng High School were much better than those of The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China last year, it was just for that one time. Hence, The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China was still the best school in Ping Cheng and the top-tier high school in the province.

If the student were to study at Ping Cheng High School and give up studying at The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China due to her influence, his parents might feel resentful. Qiao Nan expressed that she could not afford to have this happen.

“Hahaha, don’t worry, Teacher Xiao Qiao. As parents, we’re actually very open-minded. As long as the child has considered seriously and knows what he wants-as long as he’s not making a decision out of impulse-we, as parents, certainly have to respect their opinion, no?” The parent of the child was immediately smiling like flowers. Shi Qing walked out curiously.
