It seemed like the saying ‘The good never comes true, but the bad comes true’ was very right.

Or rather, Qiao Nan had sensed something, thus she mentioned her mother and sister to Qiao Dongliang.

After making a brief phone call to Zhai Sheng, Qiao Nan rushed back to school on the weekend afternoon.

Qiao Nan had yet to arrive at school, but there was already a boy pushing around with the guards at about ten meters away from the school gate. The boy seemed to want to enter Ping Cheng High School but was stopped by the guards.

“The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China?” The guard looked at the boy in surprise. “Do your teachers allow you to get into a relationship? If so, do so at your school.” One should not mess around with the female students in their school.

“I-I’m not…” The boy looked very awkward and embarrassed. He wanted to deny but his pants gave himself away.

The boy had no other way but to come up with another idea. “Why don’t we do this? I won’t go into the school. Can you let my girlfriend come out to see me? She is very shy. You can tell her that someone is looking for her. In fact, I don’t really want to affect her reputation at school.”

“Oh.” The guards glared at the boy. He had already created such a fuss, yet he said he did not want to affect his girlfriend’s reputation at school. He must be bluffing.

It would only take a day for the teachers and students in their school to know that a female student from their school was in a relationship with a male student from The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China and that he came to the school to look for her.

The guard was upset. Since they did not concentrate on their studies but went into a relationship, they must not be good students. He must report to the principal so that he would do something about it. “Who is your girlfriend? I will let her know.”

“Qiao Nan.” The boy’s eyes lit up. He was especially excited at saying her name.

“Qiao Nan from the first year’s class one!” The boy said loudly and confidently. How could he not know his girlfriend’s class and level? They must have wanted to test him.

Ping Cheng High School’s first year’s class one was an important class. He was a student of The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China and was very compatible with Qiao Nan.

Qiao Nan was the star student at Ping Cheng High School. Everyone from every level knew her name.

Qiao Nan stared at the back of the boy. Gao Yan was the only boy from The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China that she had seen before. But this boy was shorter than Gao Yan. His voice was unpleasant and he was short in stature.

In order to figure out where on earth this ‘boyfriend’ came from, Qiao Nan walked a few steps forward. “This classmate over here, hello, do we know each other?”

The people nearby widened their eyes when they saw Qiao Nan. They were ready to see a scandal unfolded right in front of them.

“Who are you?” Although the boy did not wear glasses, it seemed that he had myopia. He squinted his eyes and looked at Qiao Nan. After staring at her for more than a minute, he finally came to his senses and said in surprise, “You are Qiao Nan?!”

Now that the midterm exam is over, I have more time, so I came right away to see you. Qiao Nan, are… are you angry at me?”

Qiao Nan pursed her lips. Was he really a madman that escaped from the hospital?
