Anika heard about Demi’s family after she transferred to another school and left Misty Bridge.

Demi’s parents divorced, and her mother was childless.

Her father established a factory in the province and left her in the care of his grandmother, rarely returning to see her.

He then grabbed Anika, and they walked over to the Bentley parked nearby.

“Why didn’t you think Anika and Zac would make a good couple before?”

Nash broke the silence as the couple’s shadows faded into the darkness.

“Nonsense.How can a serious husband and wife not be a suitable match?” Tanner looked at him with contempt.

“Didn’t you say at the wedding that he used to be in the bridegroom to steal Kayden’s wife?” Nash chuckled.
