After hearing Zac’s question, Anika realized that her birthday was coming soon.

The children in the orphanage had no idea of their actual birthday, so the dean would celebrate the day when the child came to the orphanage as their birthday.

In Anika’s case, her birthday at the orphanage was May 26.

This was also hers and Zac’s wedding anniversary.
