She had been busy with her mother’s matters these past few days and had not eaten much. She was not in the mood to eat either. Now that she saw the man she had liked for so many years cooking porridge for her, she felt that it was worth it even if she died now.

Bai Ran picked up a spoon and took a small bite. Her eyes could not help but light up as she was stunned.

She then realized that Chen Chen’s skills were even better than hers.

“You made it for me last time too.” Chen Chen looked at Bai Ran and subconsciously smiled in satisfaction. “I can’t take advantage of you.”

“Then why didn’t you feed me like how I fed you last time?” Bai Ran took a small sip, but she said it in her head.

It was probably because this was what she was looking forward to.

Chen Chen hurried over and patted her back to smooth things over.
