Whosh! As the numerous swords made of condensed wind rushed at Yuan, he tightly grasped the handle of his sword and immediately swung it at an incredible speed.

Clang! Clang!

In an instant, Yuan destroyed all the wind swords sent by Silas, a feat accomplished in the blink of an eye. With Yuan’s current cultivation, the speed at which the swords rushed at him was slow compared to his reaction time.

Everyone watched in pure shock and surprise, struggling to believe it was real. In the span of an eye-blink, Yuan not only stood up but also annihilated each deadly wind sword Silas had sent, all with the intent to kill.

Yuan moved so swiftly that they only caught a blurry image of him vanishing from the sofa. The next moment, all of Silas’s wind-formed swords were reduced to nothing, and Yuan stood there, holding the massive sword in his grasp.

With a mocking grin, Yuan looked at Silas. “Is this all you had to show off? How disappointing… From the arrogance you’ve shown earlier, I thought you had some backbone. It seems I overestimated you quite a bit…”

“H-H-How is this possible…” Silas stammered, gazing at Yuan in disbelief, as if he’d just witnessed a ghost for the first time in his life.

‘T-That was one of my most deadly spells, but how? How did he destroy it with seemingly no effort at all?!’ Silas cried inwardly.

He had poured a tremendous amount of effort into perfecting this spell and had dispatched numerous opponents with it. Everyone who faced this spell met their end, unable to survive.

But now, his most trusted spell lay in ruins, shattered with ease by a young man not even half his age. This was one of the most humiliating moments of his life.

‘I-I-I’ve never suffered a humiliation in my life, and now a brat who isn’t even half of my age has humiliated me to this extent… I must kill him to wash away this shame!’

Silas glared at Yuan, his face contorted with fury, the redness spreading across his features.

“Brat! I’ve never suffered this kind of shame in my entire life! If I don’t kill you today, then I’m not Silas from the Magic Academy!”

“WIND BLADE!” Silas roared, casting another spell. A massive blade of wind hurtled toward Yuan with incredible speed.

“Ahahahaha! A lowly mage from the academy dared to talk about taking my life? Know your place!” Yuan reacted swiftly, launching himself at the incoming attack.

Whosh! Clang!

With a swing of his sword, Yuan easily intercepted and destroyed the wind blade, shattering it with a single motion. The visible ripples of air scattered across the entire living hall as the attack was obliterated.

“H-How is this possible?! How can you destroy one of my best spells so easily?! It doesn’t make any sense!” Silas screamed in disbelief, witnessing his powerful spell disintegrate at Yuan’s hands once again.

“Didn’t I tell you before that you’re just a lowly mage with a few little tricks, a pathetic existence in this world?” Yuan mocked Silas with a wide grin.

Silas trembled with rage at Yuan’s words. Each word felt like a sharp arrow, piercing his pride.

‘This is totally unacceptable! This brat is making a fool out of me in front of everyone! I can’t let him keep doing it! I have to kill him as fast as possible with everything I have! I can’t let him ruin my reputation anymore!’ Silas seethed inwardly, gritting his teeth in frustration.

His eyes turned bloodshot as he glared at Yuan with murderous intent, his face flushed with both shame and extreme anger.

And once he reached the boiling point, he roared at Yuan, pointing his magic wand at him.

“Die for me! AIR CANNON STRIKE!!!”

A substantial amount of air coalesced around Silas’s magic wand, causing ripples of wind to surge through the entire living hall.

The power of the spell was palpable, and it was evident that Silas no longer cared about the potential consequences of unleashing such a dangerous magic inside someone else’s house.

‘Is this the power of a master rank mage? This is unbelievable!’ James thought, a shiver running down his spine as he sensed the immense surge of mana around Silas.

‘This spell Mr. Silas is casting is extraordinarily dangerous and powerful! If Yuan doesn’t manage to destroy this attack, it could obliterate my entire manor in a matter of seconds.’ Madam Layla felt the overwhelming mana gathering around Silas, sending a shiver through her entire body.

‘He is really serious this time… If I don’t stop this spell, it will cause enormous damage to the manor, possibly even destroy it.’ Yuan thought, sensing the tremendous force behind the impending attack.

“NOW DIE!”

The colossal attack hurtled towards Yuan with astonishing speed, creating ripples through the entire living room.

“One Sword One Strike!!” Yuan reacted swiftly, using his sword technique to send a massive arc toward the incoming attack.

Boom! The two forces collided, generating visible ripples that swept through the entire living hall with a profound power. It sent chills down everyone’s spines, except for Yuan’s wives, who were cultivators with high levels of cultivation.

“No! How is this possible?! How can a lowlife like you, with no mana, effortlessly destroy every one of my attacks?! This is impossible! It’s Impossible!” Silas shouted at Yuan, his face a picture of disbelief, now visibly paler than before.

“Do you know how much Mana I’ve used in that attack?!”

“Hahaha! It’s simple! You’re just too weak! Way too weak! Now it’s my time to attack!”

Yuan rushed at Silas, instantly appearing before him. He swung his sword at an incredible speed, leaving Silas no time to react to defend himself.

Slash! Yuan’s sword cleanly severed both of Silas’s arms close to his shoulders. They fell to the ground, blood spraying and painting the floor red.

Thud! Thud!

“Ahhhhhhh!!! MY ARMS! MY ARMS! AGHHHHH!!!”

Silas’s anguished cries filled the air as he fell to his knees, overwhelmed by the excruciating pain.

Yuan glanced at the severed arms on the floor, then turned to Xi Meili with a smile. “Xi Meili, burn away these hands. Let him remember the consequences of his arrogance in front of me for the rest of his life.”

Yuan knew that Silas could reattach his severed arms using a high-level healing potion, which is why he instructed Xi Meili to burn them. This would ensure that Silas couldn’t reattach them, leaving him a cripple for the rest of his life.

“Certainly, Hubby!” Xi Meili responded with a charming voice. Suddenly, a wisp of black and crimson flame appeared on her palm, sending a shiver down everyone’s spine.

‘What kind of flame is this? I can’t feel any mana in the flame, but I can tell that this wisp of flame is very dangerous. It seems like it could burn me into nothingness in the blink of an eye…’ Lady Eliza stared at the dancing flame on Xi Meili’s palm.

Madam Layla and her children had seen this flame before, so they weren’t surprised. However, they couldn’t do anything to stop Xi Meili from burning away Silas’s severed arms, even if it might lead to future problems.

‘No! No! I can’t let this woman burn away my hands! Absolutely not!’ Silas’s mind raced as he felt the extreme heat emanating from the flame on Xi Meili’s palm.

“Turn into ashes… ” Xi Meili muttered in a low voice and directed the wisp of flame towards Silas’s severed arms on the ground.

Seeing this, Silas gritted his teeth and mustered all his strength, moving his body despite the excruciating pain. However, it was too late to save his severed limbs from turning into ash. The wisp of flame began to consume them at an incredible speed.

“NO! NO! MY ARMS! MY ARMS! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP! DON’T BURN THEM! Don’t burn them…” Silas’s cries filled the room as he watched his limbs disintegrate before his eyes. He dared not get too close to the flame, fearing the extreme heat it emitted.

‘I never thought this young man to be this ruthless to his enemy. Thank goodness he only knocked out Lord Joseph and didn’t do anything as extreme as this to him…’ Lord Ivan looked at Yuan with a mixture of fear and gratitude, thankful that Lord Joseph had been spared the same fate as Silas.

Rowena, however, stared at Yuan with a mixture of fear and concern. She never expected such a seemingly gentle-looking young man to be capable of such cruelty. How could Lily be with someone so ruthless?

Meanwhile, Lily looked at Yuan with a warm smile on her face, touched by his actions to protect her from Silas.

‘I love you more and more, little Yuan…’ Lily thought to herself with a loving smile, her cheeks slightly flushed.

Meanwhile, Silas gazed at Yuan with despair etched on his face after witnessing his severed arms incinerated by Xi Meili’s flames, dooming him to a life of crippling disability.

“Hahaha! Silas, what’s wrong? Didn’t you say you’d kill me today? Where’s that arrogance now?” Yuan laughed, pointing his massive sword towards Silas’s chest, perilously close to his heart.

“The Master Rank Mage and a teacher at the prestigious Magic Academy are just so-so. Now you know you’re just a lowly mage, and your status means nothing to me.”

“I WILL KILL YOU!” Despite the agony coursing through him from the loss of both arms, Silas roared defiantly.

“Is that so?” Yuan’s grin widened, poised to drive his sword through Silas’s chest. His movement was halted by Rowena’s urgent intervention.

“Please stop! Don’t kill him…” Rowena’s voice was laced with worry as she implored Yuan.

Yuan locked eyes with Rowena for a moment, then retracted his sword. “Alright, I won’t kill him. Consider it a thank you for looking after Lily for so long. I’m indebted to you.”

“Thank you… ” Rowena breathed a sigh of relief.

“But, I can’t let him keep barking at me… hahaha!”

Before Rowena could respond, Yuan swiftly struck Silas’s head with the handle of his sword. Silas, unable to evade, took the blow and lost consciousness instantly.
