Jiang Yang got the call from the hospital, informing about the emergency accident cases which were going to arrive in the hospital soon and he had to be there immediately.

From the call, he understood it was a serious incident and got up to leave the home.

“I am sorry, I have to leave for the hospital,” he said as he moved to the shoe rack to wear the footwear.

“Emergency?” His mother who was sitting on the sofa asked.

Before he could answer, his father who was reading the newspaper while sitting on the sofa spoke, “Of course there must be or why would he go there on his off day?”

His mother hummed and Jiang Yang looked at Nixxxie who was accompanying them too, “I will be back soon.”

Nixxxie lightly nodded as saying okay and Mo Ruolan spoke, “We will take care of her. Rest assured.”

Jiang Yang left for the hospital in his home clothes, a simple T-shirt and cotton pants as going back to the bedroom and changing the clothes would have taken time. Grabbing the car keys from the key stand near the exit of the residence, he went out.

On the way to the hospital, Jiang Yang called the hospital to know the scenario and condition of the patients.

“Sir, it’s a serious accident. Three people are gravely injured and one person is dead. Seems like they are VIPs as all the doctors who are on leave, have been called back and the whole hospital and all the departments are getting ready for any kind of emergency. They would be here soon”

“Hmm! I am on my way. Will be there soon,” Instructing Jiang Yang cut the call, not knowing he would see something that will shake his world.

In the Lu mansion when everyone was relaxing, Lu Chen got the call. Excusing himself to go away, he received the call which informed him about the accident.

“What?” he exclaimed and other family members looked at him to know what happened.

Once he got the confirmation about the news, the cell phone in his hand fell on the floor while he stood there with the support of the pillar, tears finding their way out from his eyes. It scared other family members.

“What happened Lu Chen?” Elder Lu asked worriedly but Lu Chen couldn’t answer and continued crying as he himself couldn’t believe the news.

Su Hui went to him. “What happened?” Worry painted on her face, seeing her husband like this.

“A-Accident.” He spoke.

As he said the word accident, everyone stood up from the sofa.

“What accident?” Su Hui asked again and Lu Chen spoke. “Hospital. We need to go to the hospital.”

Lu Chen couldn’t say anything about Lu Qiang as he still thought it was not the truth and he didn’t want to believe it.

This scared everyone. “Stop mumbling to yourself, Lu Chen. tell us clearly,” Elder Lu shouted and his worry was making his patience wear off.

“Elder brother, Yuyan and Lu Qiang had an accident and it’s in the news,” Lu Chen answered and the elder Lu ordered, “Turn on the TV.”

Never even imagined in the dream about such a thing when they saw the news, the whole mansion covered in grief.

The news showed the burnt car in which they said Lu Qiang died and another car was in bad condition which belonged to Lu Qiang.

Ning Jiahui couldn’t believe her eyes and felt like her world fell apart. Her son whom she just said bye just a while ago, they said he died and her husband and her daughter-in-law were struggling with life. Not being able to handle the shock, she fell down on the floor.

Elder Lu felt the sudden pain in his chest with the shock and not a single word could leave his throat and grandma Zhao Shuang, who was already crying, held him.

It was sudden Chaos in the mansion. Everyone was crying and in shock. The moment Su Hui fell down, the two girls, Lu Bao and Lu Lan went to her. The butler, who was in shock too, went to the elders.

Controlling herself, Su Hui wiped her tears and asked her husband to control himself as they had to look after others.

Su Hui called the servant and went to look after Ning Jiahui. She tried to wake her up, but Ning Jiahui was not responding and that scared Su Hui and other girls.

Grandma Zhao Shuang didn’t know what to do. Her husband couldn’t breathe and had a pain in the chest while her daughter-in-law was unconscious.

“Honey, this is not the time to be weak. Please handle yourself,” grandma pleaded, but it was a huge shock for elder Lu. Also, he had just undergone the heart surgery months back so it made it difficult for him.

His family, which was his entire world, had got the huge blow which was irreparable.

Grandma lost her beloved grandson and her son was in the hospital in critical condition, not to forget the newly wedded girl who just became a widow. Forgetting her sorrow, she decided to be tough.

The ambulance had been called for them and they had taken Ning Jiahui and elder Lu to the hospital.

Just like the Lu family, Jiang family got the news too. Jiang Peizhi got the call which shocked him and he turned on the TV to check the news. The news shocked the three present there.

Mo Ruolan started to cry but Jiang Peizhi held himself strong, though tears rolled down from his eyes. Nixxxie herself was shedding tears hearing the news and didn’t know how to console them.

In a hurry, they left for the hospital. As both were emotional, Nixxxie didn’t allow them to drive and drove by herself.

She was worried about Jiang Yang. she knew it would give him a huge shock and break him.

When Jiang Yang reached the hospital, they moved the patients from ER to perform important tests on them. He went to the meeting room of the doctors where others were discussing the case while going through whatever reports they got.
