Feeling helpless for not being able to help his brother, Lu Feng spoke, “Lu Qiang, I will save her, don’t worry.”

Lu Feng’s eyes filled with tears, his voice shaking, and his heart hurt as if someone stabbed it so many times.

Lu Qiang was in so much pain, but these assuring words from Lu Feng brought a smile on his face, but the next moment he coughed blood.

“Lu Qiang!” Lu Feng started to cry seeing him coughing blood as it scared the hell out of him and he could feel his pain.

“Cough! G..Go…!” A painful voice came out, even though Lu Qiang was coughing.

“Don’t speak, Lu Qiang. Wait for your brothers, okay!” said Lu Han.

Just like Lu Feng. Lu Han was feeling hurt and his eyes were teary too seeing his brother like this but he decided to be the rational one as he was the older one and there was no use of being emotional. He knew what Lu Qiang earnestly wanted at that time and that was to save Yuyan. He knew it was impossible to get Lu Qiang out with no proper help and getting him out just like that will only kill him.

“Lu Feng, don’t be emotional at this moment. We have to save them,” Lu Han instructed and wiping his tears, Lu Feng nodded.

Lu Feng and Lu Han looked at the other car, where Yuyan was looking at them helplessly as if asking them to do something and get Lu Qiang out.

“Ambulance will be here soon. As we can’t get him out, let’s save Yuyan first.” Lu Han instructed as he had already called an ambulance when they arrived there.

“Hang in there, Lu Qiang. You are not allowed to give up.” Saying, Lu Feng followed his brother who already ran towards the other car.

“Let’s get them out of the car as it’s filled with smoke and might catch fire,” Lu Han instructed and Lu Feng followed his words.

Lu Feng checked Yuyan and carried her in his arms slowly, her helpless and teary eyes fixed on Lu Qiang, her lips moving to say his name, but the voice again was not coming out.

She wanted to shout, save Lu Qiang first, but not being able to do so was making her helpless and to die at the very moment. All she wanted was Lu Qiang to be out from there without delaying a moment. Other than him and his pain, she couldn’t see or feel anything.

Lu Qiang turned his face to his left and opened his eyes with so much effort just to look at Jiang Yuyan and to make sure Lu Feng took her out. Seeing her in Lu Feng’s arm, he felt relieved and smiled to look at her as she was looking at him too.

Their eyes met, where Lu Qiang’s eyes were filled with relief seeing her safe, while Jiang Yuyan’s eyes were filled with the fear of losing him. She wanted to get on her legs and run towards him, but her body betrayed her. Being helpless was killing her inside and she was angry at herself.

When Lu Feng went to Jiang Yuyan, Lu Han went to save the driver, but the next moment his eyes noticed something that shocked him. On the back passenger seat, his uncle Lu Jinhai was lying unconscious, covered in blood.

He moved to the back passenger seat, whose door broke during the crash and fled somewhere far.

“Uncle, how come he is in the car?”

Saying Lu Han carefully pulled Lu Jinhai out from the car to take him to one side which was safe and where Lu Feng took Jiang Yuyan, It was at the side of the road, where Lu Feng allowed Jiang Yuyan to lie down so that he can go back to save Lu Qiang

When Lu Feng was about to leave her, she held the bottom of his pants with her one hand which still had some life left in it.

He sat down and held her hand. Crying, she was trying to say something that Lu Feng understood. Her eyes looked at him as if he was the only hope for her.

Holding her hand in his, Lu Feng finally looked into her teary and desperate eyes and said, “Don’t worry. I will take him out and he will be fine.”

Lu Feng tried hard not to cry, but stopping the tears from coming out was not possible. “Stay here, okay! I will go to him.” Saying, Lu Feng let go of her hand and stood up.

When Lu Feng saw Lu Han was trying to get someone out from the back passenger seat and not from the driver seat, he felt shocked and ran towards him as he realized it was not the driver. As much as Lu Han, Lu Feng was surprised to see his uncle too.

No one in the home knew Lu Jinhai was going with Jiang Yuyan as he planned it the last moment and when he sat in Lu Qiang’s car to accompany Jiang Yuyan, Lu Han was busy with the call on his cellphone and failed to see his uncle entering the car.

Both carefully carried Lu Jinhai as he looked badly injured. Once they were done and ready to go back to Lu Qiang, Lu Feng instructed, “Brother, you take the driver out and I will go to Lu Qiang.”

Nodding, Lu Han went to get the unconscious driver out of the car and Lu Feng went to Lu Qiang. “Don’t worry, Lu Qiang I will get you out, just hold on a bit.” As there was no reply from Lu Qiang, he exclaimed, “Did you hear me, Lu Qiang?”

Not getting a response from Lu Qiang scared Lu Feng, but he failed to notice that his eyes were seeking for Jiang Yuyan and Lu Feng was blocking his sight. It was as if Lu Qiang knew, he wouldn’t make it alive and wanted to use every last bit of his life just to see her to his heart’s content.

By accompanying Ly Qiang, Lu Feng was trying to buy the time until the ambulance and other help arrived and tried to cover any harm if that could come to Lu Qiang.

Lu Feng noticed the fuel from the car was leaking and there was sparking in the car.

He took out his jacket and put it on the road just to block the flow of fuel and it won’t get near the sparking as the fuel will get soaked in his jacket. He removed his shirt and tried to wrap it around Lu Qiang’s head to stop the bleeding.

On the other side, Jiang Yuyan who was lying at the roadside was looking at Lu Qiang and tried to move to be able to crawl to get to him but other than moving her one hand trying to get hold of him from the distance, she couldn’t do anything. Somehow she made it just a few inches, but the distance between them was in meters.

They heard the sound of a chopper. As it had Lu Corporation’s logo on it, they knew it was there to help them and felt relief.

Lu Feng realized he needed something thick to stop the flow of the fuel as it was making its way from another side to move towards the sparking.

In a hurry, he shouted, “Brother, give me your jacket,” but because of the sound of the chopper, Lu Han couldn’t hear it and he was busy moving the driver to one side.

Lu Feng ran to his brother, “Give me your jacket immediately.”

Lu Feng instructed, and Lu Han did it. Till then the chopper landed at one place on the road and few men got out of it. At the same time, ambulances and so many cars arrived.

San Zemin and his men got out in a hurry and ran towards the cars. Everything was going fine and felt like they all will get out of it safely, but there was a sudden blast that shook everyone and stopped everything.

“Boom!”

Lu Qiang was looking at Jiang Yuyan and he moved his lips to say something.

Jiang Yuyan saw it and even from a distance, she could understand what he was trying to say.

With tears rolling down, she wanted to reply to what he said and wanted to call his name, but nothing happened and she could just look at him.

Unexpectedly, the next moment something shocking happened that left her eyes wide open in an unbelievable shock and finally her voice could make a way out from her throat to call his name but it was too late.

“Lu Qianggggg!”

Lu Feng was moving towards the car in a hurry with a jacket in his hands but when he was just a few meters away from the car, it blasted and made Lu Feng fly back with the sudden blast and fall on the ground.

In front of everyone’s eyes, the car Lu Qiang was in, turned into the sea of fire, burning everything inside it to the ashes.

Jiang Yuyan continued shouting his name with her throat out, but it was too late for her voice to reach him. His soul was no more in this world to hear her.
