The one thing Lu Qiang was glad about was, though he got to hear all the bad things about Lu Feng, he never neglected his study. Lu Feng was a smart kid who liked to study and always topped the grades. Lu Qiang was happy that he at least maintained one thing positive about him.

Lu Qiang opened his eyes after remembering all these past incidents and he was sure that Lu Feng changed suddenly after his father’s accident. He was just hoping San Zemin would find something.

The grandpa woke up and Lu Qiang, and Lu Feng went to see him. There, too, Lu Qiang didn’t talk much with Lu Feng. As they went inside the room to meet the grandpa, he was happy to see his two grandsons.

“Glad to see you two here. Tell your grandma I will trouble her for a long so stop crying.” Elder Lu said, lying in the bed and grandma Zhao Shuang was sitting beside him.

“I am not crying,” she denied.

“Not in front of me but your fluffy eyes are enough to tell me you were about to drown this place in tears.” Though he was a patient, nothing could stop grandpa Lu from talking and having fun.

Lu Qiang and Lu Feng were glad to see their old man happy like before. Just then, Jiang Yuyan came to the room. Seeing her, a wide smile painted on elder Lu’s lips.

“How are you, grandpa?” Jiang Yuyan asked standing beside Lu Qiang.

“As I saw my love now, I am absolutely fine,” saying he looked at Lu Qiang as he called Jiang Yuyan ‘My love’ but there was no reaction from Lu Qiang instead he added.

“You made your love worried so you better not be like this, grandpa.”

Elder Lu didn’t get what he expected. “Am I that sick you stopped reacting to my words? Where did you hide mine over-possessive grandson? bring him back.”

“No, I just want you to get better faster, so I can fight with you for the words you are using right now,” Lu Qiang replied.

“Hmm! Come here.” Elder Lu called Jiang Yuyan closer to him. “Is he troubling you more?”

“She is the one who is troubling me these days.” Lu Qiang replied instead of Jiang Yuyan, leaving her flushed and others to smile.

“Seems like my sister made use of the education given by me.” Suddenly Jiang Yang came to the room, wearing his white doctor apron, holding one file in his hand.

She gave a killer gaze to both shameless men.

“What education?” elder Lu asked curiously.

“Cough!” She looked at her brother as signaling him to not say anything but who would listen to her.

“The great art of seduction, grandpa.” Saying Jiang Yang went to him to start his work for what he visited him.

Jiang Yuyan felt as if to hide somewhere and grandma patted her shoulder to console as if she could understand her pain while Lu Feng was standing quietly. Whatever that could make his grandpa smile, he was okay with it.

“I hope you taught her well,” elder Lu asked and Jiang Yang replied, “You should ask it to Lu Qiang as he was the one to get the privilege of my teaching.”

Elder Lu looked at Lu Qiang and Jiang Yuyan just prayed that he won’t say anything or she will burry herself somewhere.

Understanding, his grandpa’s sight, Lu Qiang replied, “Jiang Yang taught her well.”

“That’s good then. You can trouble him as much as you want.” As if those two were not enough to embarrass her, elder Lu added to it.

“All of you, stop embarrassing her,” Grandma said, and they stopped like obedient kids.

“Don’t mind them. I have been through all these for years. You will get used to it too.” Grandma tried to console her while others were smiling. Once again, the atmosphere in the room was lively because of these blatant people in the family where the patient didn’t seem like a patient at all.

Jiang Yang checked elder Lu, and saying bye to elders, he signaled Lu Qiang and Lu Feng to come out. Excusing, both went out.

“The recent reports show that we need to perform surgery on grandpa.” Jiang Yang said as they reached the waiting room.

“Is it serious?” Lu Qiang asked and Lu Feng waited for Jiang Yang to speak.

“Not that serious. It’s just a normal surgery to clear the blockage in his arteries. He would be fine after that.”

“Get it done as soon as possible.” Lu Feng said as he didn’t want his grandpa to be hospitalized for long.

“We need to wait for a few days as it’s not good to do it just right away. Be patient. Your old man would start jumping soon.” Jiang Yang assured both of them.

Everyone got to know that there would be surgery in the next few days.

In the past when Lu Qiang was not even born, elder Lu had health issues. Jiang Yang asked Lu Qiang to get the files of the details. When Lu Qiang asked his grandma about it, she told him to get those files from the cupboard of her room.

Lu Qiang went back home. Jiang Yuyan was home as it was the time of the evening. When he came home, he told her he was going to his grandparents’ room to get the file so Jiang Yuyan joined him too.

Both went through the cupboard but they couldn’t find anything. Lu Qiang called his grandma.

“I searched the cupboard but couldn’t find anything, grandma.”

“Ohh! My bad. As it’s an old incidence, the file must be in the safe along with your grandpa’s stuff.” Lu Qiang saw there was a safe in the clipboard and said, “It’s locked.”

“It needs a password. Use my birthdate.” As she finished instructing him, she hung up the call.

Lu Qiang opened the safe and there were few more files. He pulled out all of them out and took it to the bed. It was difficult to understand which was the one they needed as those were the old files that didn’t have tags.

Both unaware that they were going to get a shock with what they will see.
