Jiang Yuyan agreed to what Lu Qiang said about her brother as he was the hero in her life too. In a while, both left An Tian’s place.

When Jiang Yang reached outside in the parking lot and he saw Nixxxie was about to sit in her car, he mumbled being ready to run and catch her, “Why do I have to catch these people while running when they are leaving me behind?” He was referring to the moment when Lu Feng was running away from him when they were going on a trip to the farmhouse.

Running, he went to Nixxxie’s car and sat inside before she could drove away. Nixxxie looked at him in surprise and asked, “What are you doing in my car?”

“I didn’t bring my car so is it wrong to expect from my woman to give me a ride?” Jiang Yang asked catching his breath.

“Where do you want me to drop you?” NIxxxie asked.

Searching for something in a car, Jiang Yang replied, “Wherever you are stepping out of the car.”

“I am going to my home,” Nixxxie said coldly.

Jiang Yang found what he was searching for, a water bottle and said while opening its lid, “That’s even better as I didn’t meet your parents for long.”

“I am serious.”

“I am serious too. I will step out wherever you will.” Saying he had a few sips of water.

Nixxxie couldn’t help but sigh and mumbled to herself, “This man, I can’t understand what he wants”

Jiang Yang heard her and circling his hand on his stomach, he said, “I am starving and I wish to eat something.”

“Okay, I will drop you at the restaurant nearby. What do you want to eat?”

Turning his face to look at her, Jiang Yang answered, “You!”

Hearing it, Nixxxie turned her face to look at him just then Jiang Yang leaned towards her, his face just inches away from hers. Startled by his sudden action, Nixxxie was about to move back but Jiang Yang held her by moving his hand faster to behind her neck and said while holding her still at a place, “It’s been a while since we kissed, don’t you miss me in this way?”

Though they were meeting after their date last time, there was always a distance between them. Nixxxie’s parents agreed on them dating and there was no such problem but Nixxxie always tried to maintain a distance between them as she was still not sure about their condition and safety of Jiang Yang.

Jiang Yang too never tried to do anything that she didn’t want and always respected her decision to maintain a distance between them. He was just happy with the thought of being with her as she always came out to meet him whenever he asked her to but that day he was expecting more.

Nixxxie was looking into his eyes which were seeking an answer to his question into her eyes. “What do you mean?”

“You know better what I mean,” Jiang Yang replied while not in a mood to let go of her.

“I don’t…umm”

Before Nixxxie could say it, Jiang Yang kissed her. Nixxxie didn’t struggle and he kissed her for a while. Parting away from her lips he said still being closer to her while holding her at the back of the neck, “I don’t like lies and even if you still insist on saying so, it won’t take me much time to take it out what is in your heart.”

Nixxxie couldn’t say anything as she knew he meant it. Seeing her silent, Jiang Yang moved back into his seat. Both didn’t say anything for a while and continued staring blankly in the direction ahead, trying to calm themselves.

Exhaling through the mouth, Jiang Yang asked, “How about we go on a drive for some time?”

Nixxxie nodded slightly and decided to turn on the engine but seeing her shaking hands he said, “Wait!”

She looked at him just to see him getting out of the car and walking towards the door of the driver seat. Opening the door, he said, “I will drive.”

Realizing how she was shaking from inside, Nixxxie didn’t refuse it and shifted into the co-driver seat inside the car emptying the driver seat. Jiang Yang turned on the car and drove away.

Lu Qiang and Jiang Yuyan came out to the parking lot and saw Jiang Yang who stepped out of Nixxxie’s car, sat on a driver’s seat and drove away in speed. It was Nixxxie’s car and she was inside too so Jiang Yuyan asked, “What’s with these two?”

“Nothing much. Your brother is doing good,” Lu Qiang replied.

“I hope so too.” Both sat inside Lu Qiang’s car. When they were on the way, Jiang Yuyan noticed where they were going as it was not the direction to the Lu Mansion, “Are we going to our home?”

Lu Qiang nodded and said, “It’s been a while since we have been there.”

Jiang Yuyan agreed, “Hmm! I wanted to go there too.”

Jiang Yang drove the car outside of the city and after half an hour later they reached to one silent place. It was the end of that small road that was formed on the soil by the footprints and the few vehicles passing by there. That small walkway ended up near the one slope which had rocks at the end and at some distance there was water. It was a river.

Nixxxie looked around as she never saw this place but didn’t ask him anything. Since they left the parking lot, no one said a single word. Jiang Yang was focused on driving faster and Nixxxie was still in trans of the kiss they had in a parking lot.

Jiang Yang was sitting in a car silently for a while as the atmosphere in a car was different as both knew what they were thinking. Exhaling out from a mouth and unbuckling a seatbelt, Jiang Yang moved towards Nixxxie. NIxxxie was not surprised as both were expecting this to happen and knew why they came out so far.
