Everyone went for breakfast but Lu Lijun . As Lu Lijun ate early morning when he was awake, he didn’t have an appetite so he went to the pond in the garden to feed the fish . Not seeing him there elders enquired about him and Lu Qiang assured them that Lu Lijun was fine and he already ate in the morning .

Ning Jiahui was still restless and wanted to bring Lu Lijun for breakfast as she wished to see him eating properly but Lu Qiang stopped her asking to give him some time alone in the fresh air . As always, Ning Jiahui trusted her son and listened to what he said .

At the dining table, everyone was normal and chatting as if nothing happened the previous night but Lu Bao was sad and she was not eating properly . No one said anything to her but she was feeling guilty inside . Once breakfast was done all went out to living the room while Lu Bao went to the pond to see Lu Lijun .

When she reached there, Lu Lijun was sitting on the bench shaped stone around the pond while looking at the fish who were enjoying the food . Stepping towards him feeling guilty, Lu Bao was about to say something but Lu Lijun spoke before she could say anything, “Sister Lu Bao, did you like these new fish elder brother brought?”

When Lu Bao went to him, though Lu Lijun didn’t look at her, he could sense why she came there and decided to talk first .

Hearing him, Lu Bao swallowed the word she was about to say and replied, “Yes I did . ”

He looked at her calmly and said while offering her a jar of fish food, “Here, you can feed them too . ”

Lu Bao accepted it and sat on the bench . As she was about to take out some food from the jar, he spoke again, “Add just a little as they already ate a lot . ”

Nodding Lu Bao did what Lu Lijun asked and the fish followed where the food fell in the water . Suddenly tears rolled down from Lu Bao’s eyes . She was there to apologize to him and she was expecting him to be angry at her but instead, he acted like nothing had happened and that made her feel even worse .

Lu Lijun realized it but didn’t look at her . Looking at the pond, he pulled out a white handkerchief from his pocket and passed it to her .

She accepted it and said, “Thank you and I am sorry, Lu Lijun . ”

Giving out a deep sigh, he said as if he didn’t hear her, “Girls are really annoying when they cry . ”

Lu Bao understood he accepted her apology but he didn’t want to talk about it and said, “I know . ”

Both sat there looking at the fish, talking and smiling .

Lu Qiang, Lu Feng, and Jiang siblings were looking at both of them . They came to see Lu Lijun after done with breakfast . When they saw it, all were glad to see that Lu Lijun was fine and he was not angry with his sister .

“He is really so understanding at such a young age . I am so impressed,” Jiang Yuyan said .

“After all, he is my brother,” Lu Qiang said .

“Hmm! Agreed,” she nodded .

“Well he is my darling’s brother too and I can see he took few qualities from Lu Feng,” Jiang Yang said looking at Lu Feng .

“Isn’t it obvious as we both are his everything since the past few years?” Lu Qiang spoke .

“I will agree with what Jiang Yang said but except for that ‘darling’ part,” Lu Feng said .

“Then what should I call you? How about calling you wifey as you always play a hard to get woman part?” Jiang Yang asked teasingly that made Lu Feng angry and as he was about to step towards Jiang Yang to hit him, Lu Feng stopped as Jiang Yuyan was there and swallowed his anger .

Lu Qiang and Jiang Yuyan were smiling to see both of them bickering and enjoyed it .

Jiang Yang looked at his sister and said, “You are my shield, sister” and stood beside her . Looking at Li Lijun, Jiang Yang spoke, “In one thing, Lu Lijun is different from my darling and that is, it’s hard to make him angry without any strong reason . ”

“Well, it’s not the truth . He had anger issues in the past but now he can understand, he should control himself . Still, there is that side inside him that can make him angry in no time when it comes to something important to him . ”

“As in?” Jiang Yuyan asked .

“As in, Lu Qiang,” Lu Feng replied and continued, “I wish no one should ever hurt even a hair on Lu Qiang’s head or I don’t know what he will do now as a few years back he was not this strong . ”

“What did he do in the past?” Jiang Yang asked .

Lu Feng looked at Lu Qiang if he can tell them about it and Lu Qiang nodded . Lu Feng continued .

“It was the next year after spending one year in the farmhouse . At that time, Lu Lijun was recovered and he was just like the kids of his age, liked to play around but he was smarter than them . Once, there was a party in Lu Mansion and only the families of close friends and relatives were invited . ”

“With guests, there were kids of his age and they played together . No one thought about anything bad to happen but as the party came to an end there was a small tragedy . The two kids who were playing with Lu Lijun had suffered . The one boy had his lips sealed with glue and the other one had his arm fractured . ”

Hearing it, Jiang siblings’ looked at Lu Lijun as if believing that he couldn’t hurt anyone .

Lu Qiang was calm while Lu Feng continued . “Later we came to know that, those kids bad mouthed about Lu Qiang and he did something as he was angry . Still, we don’t know what he exactly did and at that time there were no cameras in the garden to see it . Those two kids were scared that they said it happened while playing and didn’t blame it on Lu Lijun . “
